"I feel like a beached whale after that food," you said, lying down against the bed.

He chuckled before joining you on the bed.

"We don't have to leave straight away if you're not up to it,"

"No no no, its fine. I just need a minute,"

You laid in eachothers arms for a while before finally finding the motivation to get out of bed.

You touched up your hair and makeup before slipping into a cute summer dress you had gotten recently.

"You ready to go, love?"

"Yep!"

-

"God, it feels so refreshing to be in a different city,"

"We'll try and do it more often then. We still have over a month until we're back at Wisteria,"

"You're the best,"

You walked down the high street, admiring all the different shops and landmarks. The day was pretty, and the beams of light that hit your skin made it glow so perfectly.

Giyuu interwined your fingers as you continued exploring the city.

"Oh my god," you stopped in your tracks.

A massive florist sat ahead of you, covered with roses, tulips, and more.

"Look how pretty they are," you crouched down.

"Wait here," he said before walking inside the shop.

Your eyes lit up as you watched him talk to the florist.

Could he be?

You waited patiently for a few minutes, and it wasn't long before Giyuu walked out with a bouquet of pink roses.

"These are for you," he smiled, handing you them.

You almost cried.

"Thank you, darling," you smiled, hugging him with your free arm.

He tucked a strand of hair behind your ear before pressing a kiss to your temple.

"You're welcome,"

You ended up popping into little shops that were scattered around, buying snacks and drinks for when you and Giyuu made it to the mountains.

Something about his presence would always be so peaceful to you. You could never get enough of being around him.

"How much strawberry lemonade did you buy y/n?"

"Only 5 bottles,"

"I'm not even gonna question it,"
he shook his head.

After another hour of just walking around, you started the long (but very pretty) hike up the mountains.

-

The air was ever so slightly cooler as you went further up, it was strangely busy as well, but you and Giyuu still managed to find a much more secluded area, giving you the perfect view of the city.

You set out a blanket and laid out all the food you and bough earlier. From chocolate covered strawberries and charcuterie boards and the strawberry lemonade, it was heavenly.

You also laid out the roses Giyuu and gotten for you.

"Hi," you said, as you layed your head on his lap.

He popped a strawberry into your mouth.

"Hi," he echoed back.

"It's so pretty up here,"

"You're prettier," he ran his hands through your hair.

As you lay on his thigh, you thought about everything that had happened the past year. From the first day, he accidentally bumped into your shoulder in the corridor to when he kissed you on the stairs of your art show. It was almost surreal how far you'd come. But you couldn't be more grateful.

"I can't believe next year is your last year of university,"

"Don't remind me," he continued fiddling with the ends of your hair.

"Are you excited?"

"About finishing university? Kinda? I mean, I still haven't thought about exactly what I want to do, I feel almost lost in a way,"

"We'll figure out, I promise," you reassured before sitting up capturing his lips.

He kissed you back with similar force, and you gently pushed him down, guiding yourself so you were on top of him.

"Sweetheart...I hate to break it you, but I'm not fucking you on a mountain,"

You pecked his lips once more before pulling away. "I figured,"

"But tonight?" his voice got softer, as his hand slid up the dress to your thigh. "I'm all yours,"

After finishing almost all of the food, you ended up staying there until the sun set.

The blend of orange yellow and red and a splash of purple painted itself so wonderfully across the sky, and watching the sun finally disappear along the horizon was almost magical.

-

Luckily, you made it down the mountain in no time, so it wasn't long before you were back on the ground.

"Do you think we could get away with ordering pizza to the hotel or would it be bad manners?" Giyuu asked as you finally approached the hotel's doors.

"We could just go out for dinner,"

"Netflix and chill," was all he said quietly.

You finally made it to the somewhat familiar elevator, pressing the button that got you to the first floor.

You admired his side profile as you waited for the elevator come to a halt.

There were small hints of tiredness in his eyes and he had let his hair down, the material of his shirt clung to his skin, outlining his abs and emphasising the rise and fall of his chest that came with his breathing.

A loud ding interrupted your thoughts, and Giyuu's voice brought you back down to earth.

As you entered back inside the room, you were still in shock at how big it was.

You slipped into a pair of pyjamas hiding with black lingerie that sat beneath them.

Giyuu came out the shower, shirtless, in nothing but a pair of grey sweatpants.

You turned a few movies on and snuggled in close to him.

It was going to be a long night.
