As you left the classroom, you sent a quick text to Mitsuri to let her know you were on your way back to the dorms.
You weren't sure how to feel. It was unexpected to say the least. The one person you had all intentions of avoiding, was now entangled in your life in the most inconvenient way possible.
The entire situation was weighing on your back like a ton of bricks and as you approached the door to your dorm, you began to overthink every interaction you'd had with him in the past two hours.
You shakily took a deep breath and pushed the door handle open.
Your dorm had a nice feel to it now, it was cosy and felt like home.
"Y/n!" mitsuri called out "we're in here, come on over,"
"We?" you thought as you made your way to the kitchen.
Your eyes met Shinobu's who was sat opposite Mitsuri.
"Are you alright Y/n you look like you've seen a ghost," Shinobu asked, calmly.
You bit the inside of your cheek before sighing.
"It's a long story..."
You started explaining everything from the beginning, but they were quick to stop you once you mentioned Giyuu's name.
"Giyuu?" Shinobu questioned "As in Giyuu Tomioka?"
You nodded.
"Why you know him?"
Mitsuri and Shinobu exchanged looks.
"It's...complicated," Mitsuri started, "we were sort of friends, but then something happened and he became all quiet and distance..."
She awkwardly fiddled with the ends of her skirt.
"If he gives you any trouble Y/n let us know," Mitsuri smiled and placed her hands over yours.
You didn't think that would be the case, it didn't seem like he was that much of a dick anymore, but then again you hadn't spoken to him properly in 2 years and the atmosphere between you already seemed awkward.
He didn't seem interested in communicating with you whatsoever.
You didn't want to bring up the past, but perhaps that was what you both needed in order to move forward.
You decided to forget about Giyuu for a bit and focus on the present.
Mitsuri, Shinobu and the others invited you out for lunch at one of the local ramen places.
"Sure that sounds great," you smiled after they proposed the offer.
"YAY!" Mitsuri hugged you, "I think Tengen is picking us all up at around 1:30,"
The pink haired girl glanced at the time.
"IS THAT THE TIME ALREADY!?" her green eyes grew wide and she practically jumped out her seat.
"I have dance now but i'll be back soon!" she quickly grabbed a pink bag and danced out the door.
"I should probably go too," Shinobu smiled "see you later Y/n,"
The girl left, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
You had an art history class tommorow morning and a painting and drawing one that afternoon, art history was a bit boring, but it was important.
You had a couple of hours to kill, so ended up lying in bed binge watching your favourite shows.
Until your phone buzzed.
It was Giyuu.

hey, can we talk
you
what about
i'll be at your dorm in
Your heart sunk.
Fuck.
You immediately shut your laptop and rushed out of your bedroom, your heart rate rapidly increasing.
The sudden knock nearly caused you to jump out of your skin.
Had it already been five minutes?
You took another shaky deep breath and calmly walked over to the door opening it with ease.
His hair was down, and a little messy and his hands sat in his pockets. However, his expression was the same as usual.
"Can i come in?"
You opened the door a little more, allowing him to comfortably pass through.
"What did you want to talk about?"
He turned so he was looking at you.
"I wanted to see what days you were free to work on our project,"
This mother fuc-
You almost laughed.
"You couldn't just text me?" you folded your arms.
He ignored that last question.
"I can do Thursday or Friday, but not Thursday morning," his gaze never left yours.
You almost stumbled over your words.
"Yeah Thursday should be fine, where should I meet you?"
"Meet me by the cherry blossoms outside the photography block, I'll be done with my classes at around 12"
You nodded and gave him another awkward smile.
"Is that all?"
He began walking back towards the door.
"See you then L/n,"
And once again, it was just you and your thoughts.
Mitsuri came back shortly after, and before you knew it Tengen was knocking at your door.
He leaned against the doorway as you and Mitsuri finished getting ready.
"Where are the others?" You asked him, as you exited your dorm.
"Rengoku lives in an apartment off campus so he's meeting us there, and the others are waiting downstairs,"
As you approached the car, Mitsuri went straight to Obanai, engulfing him in one of her tight hugs as you playfully slapped Sanemi on the back of his head causing him to almost erupt like a volcano.
Tengen opened the car door.
"Ladies first," he teased, allowing you, Mitsuri and Shinobu to enter.
After arriving at the ramen place, you wondered how the fuck Tengen got his drivers licence.
He nearly ran over a pigeon, ignored about 3 red lights and almost crashed about 6 times.
Rengoku had arrived shortly before you. He approached the car and gave you a hand in getting out once noticing your shocked expression.
"You good Y/n?" he chuckled as you stumbled out the car.
You nodded and shot him one of your signature smiles.
As you opened the restaurant's door, the small bell attached made a 'ding' noise, indicating that someone had entered.
The walls were a pretty sky blue, with clouds painted here and there. Photos of their famous ramen hung in between small cat shaped lamps, which contrasted nicely with the blue interior.
Obanai insisted on sitting next to Mitsuri and you squeezed in between Tengen and Sanemi.
It took a while for you all to order, mostly because Sanemi screamed at the waitress and nearly got you all kicked out.
"Sanemi you can't yell at everyone who says something to you, all she did was ask you your order," you scolded, playfully.
"Fuck off." he growled.
"And stop growling you're not a dog," you said, causing him to nearly flip the table.
The waitress came back about 20 minutes later with everyones food, carefully avoiding eye contact with Sanemi.
As she placed the food down, the corner of your eye caught a glimpse of a mop of black hair.
Immediately, your shoulders tensed, alerting the males next to you, and Misturi.
"Y/n,are you okay?" Mitsuri asked.
"Yeah I'm fine," you mumbled, looking down at the bowl of ramen in front of you.
You were slightly less talkative the rest of the meal, not by much, but Mitsuri noticed, and kept giving you reassuring looks.
As you all finished eating and left the restaurant, a soft voice called out your name.
You knew exactly who it was, but decided to ignore it.
"L/n please, don't ignore me,"
You inhaled sharply and turned to face him, he was a few metres away so you let him walk to you.
Suprisingly, he was the first to talk.
"L/n I have no intentions of becoming friends with you..."
You blinked a few times.
"But I don't hate you, so you can stop freaking out every time I walk past,"
Giyuu shoved his hands in his pockets, turned around and walked away, leaving you speechless.
"The fuck was that about," Sanemi raised an eyebrow.
"No idea..." you responded, watching Giyuu walk away.
