Hello, my darlings!

This is a story I've been toying around with in my mind for a couple of months. Now after reading both Twilight and Midnight Sun on and off for the past week, I think it's time I write some of it down. Of course, there will be differences between my fanfiction and canon, with some being clearer than others. I'll point out the source for some of those differences in little footnotes as the story moves along, most of which will likely come from Volterran-Wine on Tumblr (again, definitely give that blog a read). The others will arise from tweaks of my own imagination or even posts from the Twilight Reddit (which I will provide links for). 

So, you might be wondering about how the Addams family fits into this story. Honestly... it won't be an accurate representation of the Addams family, just warning you now. There will be obvious differences in my representation of them, mostly in career choices and missing/added family members (which then affect the family dynamics), but I hope this little disclaimer calms the ones who might have wanted a more accurate portrayal. I will do my best to stay true to the more important elements that make up the Addams family, but again, the family dynamics will change. I did this because I wanted to kind of avoid the usual "MC's parents are dead/absent" trope while also incorporating a little bit of it into my story.

Now, there is some element of reality shifting in my fanfiction. Whether you believe in it or not, it's the most important element of the story because that's what makes it all possible. And it's also just a fun idea to write with and it's doing no one any harm in this fictional setting. (But big love to all my shifters that might be here <3)

As for an 'updates' schedule, I'll be honest. It's not going to be regular. I'm currently attending university with a full schedule, a job, and extracurriculars. I might also add that I'm not experienced in writing fanfiction (this is my first one), so when I do publish the chapters, I want them to be the best that I can manage to write. All of this equals an irregular publishing schedule. I apologize in advance, but I hope the chapters you receive will be of the best quality I can provide and that perhaps you might even fall in love with this version of Twilight just as I have.
