"This," You watched as Kingo's face morphed from excitement to confusion, "Is not a diamond," He turned to point a finger at the telepath behind him, "I expected better from you, Druig,"
Druig tilted his head, unbothered, watching as the interaction continued with you being the center of attention.
Sersi stood up from her seat and joined Kingo. There was a grin present on her face as she approached you. Thena beamed proudly, pulling Gilgamesh to get a closer look, even though the two had already seen the ring before.
"White sapphire," Sersi stared at it in awe.
Druig nodded at her comment, "Matches her power and her suit," he locked eyes with you with a dazzling smirk when you smiled at him.
Sprite joined in beside her, both the girls and Kingo analyzed the beautiful ring that Druig had made for you.
The ring had the white sapphire in the middle while bands of yellow and light blue wrapped around your finger.
"This is so pretty," Sprite commented and you thanked her for it, "I'm kind of mad you didn't even invite me. I thought I was your favourite,"
"Get in line, Sprite," Kingo scoffed, jabbing a thumb behind his back.
"So," You looked around at everyone, "What brings you all here?"
"You might wanna sit down for this," Sprite suggested and you moved on to take a seat on the bench beside Gilgamesh.

The news about the Emergence and Ajak's death was broken to you and Druig in the smoothest way possible to stop him from snapping or losing his patience. When Sersi finished explaining, uncomfortable silence filled the safehouse.
"So, I'm basically a fancy malfunctioning robot?" You broke the silence with a disturbed look.
"Well," Kingo jerked his head to the side with a wince, "It's too harsh if you put it that way. And our memories are stored somewhere in space," he added with a raise of his finger, as though to soothe the effect of your words.
"You've given me a lot of bad news in one go, my lady," Druig told Sersi, leaning back on the wall.
"Will you help us?" Sersi questioned, looking from you to your fiancé.
"I am glad that— "
Sersi's ringtone interrupted him, a loud tune that shifted the mood entirely as she embarrassingly fished through her pocket to decline her call. When she did, she felt Ikaris's eyes on her as she tensed at the contact number before putting back down.
"Hey, what's your service?" Kingo whispered over to her, "I'm not getting any bars,"
Gilgamesh let out a snore and you and Thena nudged him awake from his snooze, while your mother petted an iguana on her lap.
"Do you all remember this forest? Beautiful," Druig continued, "It was the last place we all lived together. I've protected these people for 20 generations now from the outside world and from themselves,"
Druig walked up to the bench where Karun and Kingo were seated, looking down at them, "Your kind, my friend, you will be responsible for your own extinction one day. Don't you think?"
"I think we must learn from our mistakes and do better, sir," Karun innocently replied, holding the camera in his hands, "You must not give up hope,"
Druig's eyes glowed gold and so did Karun's, making the latter hurl the camera away and make it crash against the wall.
"Druig," You called his name in a disapproving manner.
He turned to his you and smiled apologetically, silently replying that he won't do it again.
"Oh, no, you didn't," Kingo jumped to his feet, and walked straight in front of Druig, "Okay, new rule, no more possessing people's valets,"
"Oh, where is your sense of humour, Kingo?" Druig smirked at him.
"I'm sorry, sir," Karun apologized in shame.
"Don't apologize, it's not your fault," Kingo comforted his valet, turning to the man in front of him, "Just 'cause you're girlfriend—"
"Fiancée," Druig corrected casually, finding amusement in annoying him.
"Okay," Kingo glared at him, "Just 'cause your fiancée is a goddess, doesn't give you the position of a god. You know that right?" he looked past Druig at Y/N, "I love you, though," he mouthed to you sincerely.
You nodded in understanding, "I love you too," you mouthed back to him.
"How ironic," Druig caught his attention, "Kingo, the movie star," he added dramatically.
"I've directed some things too," Kingo defended.
"Oh yeah, like what?"
"Some internet content,"
Druig seemed genuinely interested now, "How many views,"
"I don't do it for the views,"
Ikaris, who'd been standing far from the rest of the group pushed himself and walked towards the door, "Let's go. He's wasting our time,"
"We need him," Sersi reminded him.
"Ikaris," Druig called out his name, causing him to stop in his tracks, "I missed you. Are you gonna charm me or threaten me?" he grinned at him when he reached his level.
"I mean, there's a third option if you prefer that," Ikaris challenged with raised eyebrows.
"It must be heartbreaking to find out that you're not Mother's favorite,"
"And I'm sure she'd be real proud of what you've been up to,"
"Druig, this is serious," Sersi broke in.
"I'll tell you what's serious," he snapped in rage, "I've just been told I've been sent on a suicide mission for the past 7,000 years, and that my entire existence is a lie. So, excuse me for not giving a shit about your plan right now," Druig stormed out of the safe house, leaving you all in silence.
"Druig sucks," Kingo announced out loud.
"He does, sir," Karun agreed solemnly, "No offense, ma'am," he added to you, smiling awkwardly when you dismissed it with a kind expression.
