y/n stood next to a sitting-cheong-san, watching as their friends continuously wave their arms towards the parting helicopter. she watched as it got further, and further.

suddenly, a sudden bang on the door was heard behind her. she turned around, her body facing towards the door as cheong-san had gotten up and back up a bit. then, cheong-san walked forwards, almost pressing his head against the door but y/n had stopped him, grabbing his arm. "don't do that."

he looked at her with a furrowed brow. "huh, why-"

then another bang was made, the door shaking due to the hard punch. cheong-san jumped, startled by the action. "that's why." y/n pulled him away, walking closer towards the door, her mouth near the middle gap. "ya, gwi-nammm~ is that you back there??"

"open the door y/n." the boy stated gruffly.

her eyes widened in astonishment. "uwaa, that was quick! i didn't expect you to regenerate that fast! tell me, are you functioning properly right now? i mean i did aim for your head--"

another bang was made. "open the door y/n! before i break this down!"

despite her mood sour just then, she grinned. "and then what? you're going to kill cheong-san for taking your eye out?"

"i'll put a knife through your head as well!" he shook the door knobs harshly, receiving an excited reaction from the girl.

"ahh! now this is what i'm looking for!" y/n then turned her head to cheong-san. "do you mind if i open the door? i really want to see him try and put a knife in my head-"

"y/n no!" the others yelled as her hand was nearing the door handle, cheong-san grabbing her waist and and wrapped his arms around them to prevent her from nearing the door.

"awww." she stated somewhat dejectedly. "oh well. guess you'll have to wait for another time gwi-nam!"

"open the door y/n!" the namel half-bie yelled, punching the door hard, leaving an evident punch mark. "open the door!"

y/n winced slightly. "wow, that's gotta hurt. tell me, gwi-nam. is your hand broken right now?"

"fuck you." she heard him say, followed by footsteps walking away.

she loved riling people up, she didn't know why. just the thought of them getting mad because she provoked them, and then eventually leading to a physical fight, made her excited. it left a note on her brain that someone out there is going to fight her, and she loved fighting. well, not fighting specifically, more like using her skills as she didn't want years of training and boredom to go to waste.

"he's gone." she heard nam-ra say.

"who's gone?" su-hyeok asked, looking at the girl.

"gwi-nam." nam-ra stated. "it's his smell, and i can hear his breathing. they're getting faint, meaning he's leaving."

"hah." y/n smiled. "pussy."

"you." she heard ji-min call out. y/n turned around to look at her, seeing that the ponytailed girl was staring directly at her. "how are you still alive. what was that with the zombies before?"

y/n blinked at her for a second or two. "oh, right! the zombies can't see me for some reason. and it's all making me mad! i want to be able to fight those creatures but now they're ignoring me-"

their eyes widened. "did you get bitten?!"

she looked at them, blinking as they just cut her off. she shrugged. "no, but i think i got zombie blood in me."

they all sorta froze for a second, wu-jin being the first to react (obviously).

"when the hell did that happen?! and how did i not know about this?!?" he fussed, being his usual protective self over her.

y/n shrugged. she then brought her wrapped up hand to his face. "so remember when i told you i caught a knife by my hand? and remember all the glass landing on me before and leaving an open wound? yeah, so i had some fun and ended up getting drenched in zombie blood-"

"so that's why there were clothes drenched in blood at the side..." on-jo murmured.

"how do we know your not going to turn into a zombie?" ji-min continued to push further.

y/n scoffed. "oh please! if i were to turn into one, i would've turned already. did you forget that it was a while ago?"

"so there was a chance that you could've turned whilst we were inside the music room earlier?" hyo-ryung asked.

she shrugged again. "maybe. but if i did, cheong-san said he would throw me out the room so it wouldn't be a big deal-"

"not a big deal?!" wu-jin exclaimed, standing in front of the girl with his hands on her shoulders.

his expression was panicked, worry and anxiety on his face as he looked at her.

"y/n you are one of my top priorities in life- i have spent three of my sixteen years of living preventing you from doing stupid shit that would get you killed and i'm not about to let that all go to waste because you left my eye for thirty minutes! you promised me you wouldn'y do anything that would get you killed!" wu-jin had tears brimming his eyes, his outburst causing everyone else to quiet down. it was known to all of them that wu-jin had cared deeply about her, but they didn't expect him to react like this.

y/n was speechless. she'd never had someone go off at her before because of her risky acts (well, yes many people have, but never about her own wellbeing) and now that someone has - that someone being a very special person to her - she couldn't help but feel guilt.

not knowing what to say, she simply said, "i promised you that after the whole thing happened."

everyone else deadpanned at her. how dumb could she get. she was smart, yes, but man, the boy in front of her had just practically confessed his care for her and that's what she had to say.

wu-jin exhaled shakily, taking his hands off of her as he looked to the side, wiping his hand doen his face to remove the tears.

the students around them looked at each other, questioning whether they should leave them alone or not. with a nod, they all left the two, walking to another side of the roof.

as wu-jin sniffled, his hand reaching up again to wipe the tears away, he suddenly felt arms circle his torso, a head resting on his chest/neck (depending on your height). y/n wasn't good with feelings, hell, she didn't even know she had other emotions other than excitement, boredom, and thrill. so she didn't really know how to deal with sad people.

so she hugged him. it's what she'd seen the people in movies do, they hug the other in order to comfort them.

"i'm sorry." y/n whispered. the boy tried to hide his tears, failing as his sniffles got louder and more tears came down his face as he tried to wipe them away. y/n then grabbed the arm that was trying to push his tears away. "don't, please. i'm sorry that i've been a burden to you jang... i didn't think that my actions would've caused you this much stress."

wu-jin somewhat softened at this, his arm slowly placed itself around her neck, hugging her from there. "you've never been a bother to me seong, please don't say that. i just care about you too much..."

"is that bad thing?"

she felt him shake his head. "no. it's not a bad thing.
