Looking up at the pictures of kings and queens who had come before her, Rowan saw the picture of her parents as well as the one of her grandparents looking back at her.

"One day, you'll be up there." She turned to see Harry standing there grinning at her. He moved to stand next to her and took her hand as he approached.

He merely grinned down at her, and she squeezed his hand and murmured, "Hmm as long as you get a portrait up there besides me." They turned when they heard a knock on the door and saw a guard standing there.

"The time has come." Slightly humming with emotions, she nodded at him.

As the two moved down a hallway, Rowan nodded to the guards and inhaled deeply. "All right, I'm ready." They opened the doors, she murmured, and all heads turned to face her.

She noticed friends sitting down in the seats as they went down the aisle. Harry's family, the fairy godmother, and Rowan's parents were positioned in front of the aisle.

"Rowan Fitzherbert, you will assume the role of your kingdom to support and uplift your people; today is a day of growth and encouragement." As the fairy godmother spoke, Rowan inhaled deeply and turned to face the crown. Harry merely gave her hand a squeeze.

"Do you sincerely promise, Rowan Fitzherbert, that for as long as you rule, you will be the one Corona needs to lead them through everything?" Rowan nodded, going forward and bowing. The fairy godmother spoke.

"I solemnly swear for my kingdom." Rowan promised sincerely.

"Harry Hook, do you sincerely pledge that you will support your queen through good times and bad, and assist her in ruling her realm?" The pirate crouched down next to Rowan as the fairy godmother turned to face him.

"I solemnly swear." Harry also promised.

The cathedral around them erupted in applause as the Fairy Godmother proudly declared, "Then it is my honour and joy to bless the new queen Rowan Fitzherbert and Prince Harry Hook." She tapped Rowan and Harry lightly on each shoulder with the wand, formally crowning her as Queen of Corona and him as Prince of Corona.

It was strange for Rowan to be the Queen of Corona after feeling the crown placed on her head. Feeling prepared to face the Corona audience, they began walking back down the aisle hand in hand.

They entered a chamber where they were greeted with a lantern. "Prince has a ring to it, but I've always liked Captain Harry Hook better." Harry was now exploring more than ever, and during the course of the year he became Captain of his own ship.

"Who would have thought that you would become a queen?" Harry murmured, putting his hand around her waist as they had a discreet kiss. "Let's visit our kingdom now." After Rowan extended his arm to seize the lantern, the two headed outside to the balcony, where their people were waiting.

As Rowan lighted the lantern, the assembly applauded their new queen. As she released it, everyone waited silently and lanterns - or as her mother used to call them "the floating lights" - began to light up the sky. Rowan stared at them in shock. Now it was her turn to receive lanterns. Harry was astounded to see that all he had been pursuing paled in comparison to what he was holding in front of him.

Harry knew it was time when he turned to see Rapunzel and Eugene nodding at him. "Why don't we take a break and relax together before all the festivities begin?

"We can, of course." As they make their way from the balcony to their own private space,  She observed his worried expression as she gazed at him.. "What's wrong?"

"Rowan. There is no one quite like you. ." Despite her laughter, she allowed him to continue. "I couldn't take my eyes off you then and I'm no better now." Harry took something out of his pocket, Rowan nearly cried out in shock when she saw it.

"Harry.." she said, not knowing what to say.

"When I first met you, Rowan, I was in a state of trance and I couldn't stop thinking about you. Your heart is so true and you are so pure. From now on, sweetheart, you are all I will ever want. You are the one thing that I had not planned for and I want to live for the rest of my days with you." Harry Hook knelt before the young lady. With teary eyes, Rowan looked at him. "Will you, Rowan Fitzherbert, give me the honour of marrying me?"

Rowan screams with excitement, "Yes, Harry, of course I'll marry you!" Grinning, Harry puts the ring on the finger. She encircled him with her arms and pulled him into a kiss. The two laughing together.

Rowan turned to face him, grinning brightly as she glanced at the ring on her finger. "Harry Hook, you have my undying love."

Captain Hook's son, who was astonished to be marrying her, simply grinned at her. "Rowan Fitzherbert, I absolutely love and adore you."

Author's notes

And that is the end of line without a hook..well for not until I decided that I want to change it but this is the end I'm happy with. Harry and Rowan had their happy ending. I made Harry a Prince but i wasn't going to throw his pirate life away so I kept him as a pirate and even made him captain.
