"I believe it would look flawless." Grinning, the blonde looked at the flowers that had been arranged on the table in response. She had a sort of awareness of these things.

"Rowan, I knew I could trust you." Ben responded, and the girl gave him a dazzling smile in return. She was assisting him in getting ready for the impending ceremony.

"I do know a little bit about these things, it kind of runs in the family." Ben simply grinned at the youngster, observing that her lengthy hair was styled in a flowery braid similar to her mother's.

"This is all for Mal, hopefully she will enjoy it."

"The green and purple flowers aren't for nobody, Ben, I know she would appreciate them." With confidence, Rowan answered.

"You're right, I just want it to be less stressful because she's already freaked out about the whole thing." Ben sighed, their last fight still fresh in his memory.

"I'm sure my father borrowed this quote from somewhere, but he always said you have to go through the hardest times before you can go through the calmest ones." The boy with dark hair smiles at Rowan's comments. Considering her father, it was most likely true.

"Ben?" They both turned to find the girl with blue hair standing awkwardly in his doorway.

"Evie! Come on in."

"Are you okay, Evie?" When Rowan saw the expression on her face, she inquired. All she did was shut the door behind her.

"Mal's gone back to the Isle." Rowan gasped at her words as Evie walked towards them. She handed him a piece of paper. Rowan watched his face as he read the paper.

"Ben..." He grabbed it gently, trying to wrap his mind around the fact that she was giving him the ring that he had given Mal.

He crumbled the paper in his hand. "This is my fault. This is my fault. I-I blew it." Evie just looked at him sadly while Rowan tried to think of something else to say. "She'd been under so much pressure lately, and instead of being understanding, I just went all Beast on her."

"Ben, don't blame yourself. Mal has been under stress for a while, and you had nothing to do with it." As she put her hand on his shoulder, Rowan spoke.

"I have to go there and apologize. I have to go there and--and beg her to come back."

"Ben, you'll never find her. -I- You need to know the Isle and how it works and..." Evie tried to argue. "You have to take me with you."

"Yes! Uh, are--are you sure?"

"Yeah-She's my best friend." Evie nodded with certainty. "And we'll bring the boys, too, because there's safety in numbers, and none of us is really too popular over there right now."

"And I'll be there too." When Rowan says that, they both turn to stare at her.

"Certainly not." Ben stated, casting a little worried glance at the blond female.

"Besides, we won't be there for long. Ben, I can handle it." When Rowan smiled at him, he simply nodded.

"But let's get two things straight. You have to promise me that I won't get stuck there again." Evie said, looking at him with a sadden looking.

"I promise."

"And there's no way you guys are going looking like that."

Rowan peered down at her attire, which consisted of a white shoe and a blue sundress. Perhaps she couldn't go to an island full of leather with this attire.
