"Man come on, you drunk as hell and so am I. I'm not gonna let you wander the streets though."

"I ain't wandering shit, I know where I'm at. I said I'm good." Dominique told him and closed the door, stumbling in front of the car to cross the street. Being how dizzy he was, he was trying his hardest to keep his balance and clear view.

"Get your light bright ass back in the car, before somebody mistake you for big foot!"

Ignoring him, Dominique continued to stumble down the sidewalk of the familiar neighborhood. From someone else's point of view, it would look as if he was strolling around aimlessly and a bit lost. Every other second he was tripping over air and repeatedly glancing over his shoulder as if he was being followed. It didn't seem like a long walk to him, but once he finally made it to his destination, he was exhausted. He didn't even have a reason to hop out the car, he just felt like it and continued to where he had to go.

Arriving to the house, before he could make it up the stairs, he bent over and chucked up most of the liquor and food he downed tonight. Burying a patch of neat grass with his puke, he wiped his nose and watery eyes before squatting there for a minute or two. Seeing a car pass by slowly, Dominique watched them carefully but didn't stick around long for them to grow suspicious of his presence. He's been arrested for public intoxication one too many times, and didn't feel like dealing with it tonight.

Going up onto the porch, not even thinking to grab the key first, he aggressively yanked on the screen door which was locked. Smacking his lips like the door was the one acting out of the ordinary, he drunkenly banged on the door and reached in his back pocket for the keys. His eyes couldn't help but to wander being the state his mind was in, but seeing the porch light turn on and hearing the front door swing open made him focus instantly.

"Who?.....Dominique?" He heard and leaned in closer while squinting to get a better view of the face.

It was the devil himself, who so happens to be his father, Joseph.
