i was currently sitting on the end of vinnie's bed crying. i had just  come back from visiting my family for the weekend, and it wasn't good. i basically came home to my family crumbling and falling apart. i was just glad to be back.

i knew that vinnie went out for the day to skate and hang out with this friends. i forgot to call him and let him know that i was going to be here, but thats when i heard the bedroom door open.

he walked in and a smile appeared on his face when he saw me. "y/n your back i missed you so-" his facial expression immediately shifted once he saw the state i was in.

"what's wrong baby?" he came over and sat down on the bed next to me and brought me in for a warm embrace. it had only been three days, but i missed the feeling of his arms around me so much. it was like my safe place.

i tried to wipe my tears but it was almost impossible because they kept spilling out. "i just had a really bad last three days, and i missed you. sorry i didn't tell you i was going to be here i-"

"no don't apologize." he interrupted me. "you should've called me so that i could come home earlier and comfort you."

he planted a soft kiss on my forehead. i loved him so much. he never failed to make me feel better when i was sad, and he was always here to listen to me.

"so what happened? do you wanna tell me?" he asked.

i explained to him that when i went back home it wasn't anything like i expected. my parents had problems going on in their personal relationship, and my brother was going back to his old habits that weren't good for him at all. everything seemed to be falling apart in front of my eyes.

vinnie paid attention to every word i was saying and gave me nods so that i knew he was listening. it's what i loved. he was always willing to be here for me.

i felt some more tears come down as i was telling him everything again. i didn't want to cry in front of him, but i knew that he wouldn't judge me.

"vin?" i looked up to him for a response. "yeah?"

"don't you ever feel overwhelmed sometimes?" i asked him. "it's like the whole world is on your shoulders and more problems are just landing right at you and its so much weight. that's how i feel about my family right now."

"well yeah of course i do. everyone goes through their shit." he responded looking me in the eyes. he continued what he was saying.

"and when you feel like that let me hold the weight for you. not much i can do about your family, but im always here to make you feel loved. im always gonna be here for you y/n and im not leaving anytime soon. i love you."

tears were still coming out from the corner of my eyes, but now i think they were of happiness. "i don't deserve you."

i sighed as he put his hand to my cold face to caress my cheek, knowing how much i loved it.

"enough crying now princess." he said wiping some of the tears from my eyes. "your so pretty. don't worry about anything, im right here." he placed another kiss on my lips.

i smiled and closed my eyes as i laid in his embrace. "you make me so happy hacker. i love you."

i heard him say it back along with some other beautiful sayings, and as he stroked my hair i found myself drifting off to sleep.
