[10] "IM NOT A PARTY VIRGIN"

      A crowd swarmed around the jock table at our local cafeteria, all eyes on Carson screaming.

"Eighteenth birthday party tomorrow! Everyone's invited!" He yelled, his voice clearly heard by the whole cafeteria.

He's just another one of those rich kids who's parents could care less about, so he throws parties and acts like an absolute disappointment to get their attention.

It's the sad truth.
Honestly, feel bad for the boy. 

Johnny came over to our table as the crowd dispersed, passing me a flyer since he was indeed Carson's fellow friend.

I gave him a smile but he returned a smirk instead. Idiot. "I'm hoping to see you there," Johnny said right at me, giving me a what seemed like an innocent smile.

"You know that isn't happening." I answered.

High school parties just weren't my thing. I had been to a few, I wasn't a complete party virgin.

Oh my god.

Did I just say that?

Johnny's really rubbing onto me.

"Come on," He went on, "For me?" He pouted a little, a slight smirk in his face.

I looked at him, narrowing my eyes a bit.
Wait why does he have such appealing eyes?

"She'll be there!" Kenzie exclaimed beside me which got me to slouch into my seat. I don't even know how we both are best friends.

Like, literally, we're polar opposites.

He gave her a smile, "Great," He responded softly, giving me one last sneaky look before walking away in to oblivion. Oblivion as in the current crowd in our school cafeteria.

Lauren glanced between the both of us before zeroing her eyes in at me, she opened her mouth to say something but was cut off by Kenzie's squealing.

"Is he just tutoring you or are you two you know, doing some other activities too," She winked to which my eyes widened.

My god Is she crazy??

Heat rushed to my cheeks as I nudged her, "No!"

She sighed rather dramatically, putting her elbow on the table, "Your lingering stares between him tell me otherwise." She smirked.

"What the hell does that even mean?" I huffed.

"Your literally undressing him with your eyes-"

"Kenzie!" Lauren cut her off, my cheek red in embarrassment. Yup she's definitely crazy. "Stop saying my brother, Annie, and undressing in the same sentence."

"First of all they weren't in the same sentence! Wait maybe they were but-" She rambled on and then evil laughed. Yes, I had to add the evil. "I can feel the sexual tension, I don't care what you say."

I put my head on my desk to hide my burning cheeks. Sexual tension? What the fuck?

"She's not even denying it." I could hear the smirk in her voice as she ran her hands through my hair, reminding me of Rapunzel's fake mother.

"Kenzieeeee," I dragged, sitting back up. "You need to stop with the shipping, It's just not happening."

I looked over to Lauren who had a rather serious look on her face, "You'll tell me if you like my brother right?"

"Wha- Yeah, of course but I don-"

"Promise me?"

It slightly scared me how solemn she was, I had rarely ever seen her like this. "I promise." I answered to which she smiled.

But how am I supposed to tell her something I wasn't sure of myself?

"Good, I trust you,"

I hesitant smile broke out my face, "Yeah."

       "Wear the black one!" Kenzie exclaimed. "You look hot,"

"Isn't this too much for a high school party?" I asked as I looked at myself in the mirror.

"Nuh uh, look at me." She grinned twirling her hair. She had on a red leather two piece with black heels, obviously she looked stunning as usual.

"The thing is Kenz, I'm not you."

"But wear the black one, you look good." Lauren added a smile on her face. Her hair was put up in a bun as she had on a light green dress which loosely  hugged her body, she matched it with her own set of jewellery.

Gosh my friends are so pretty.

"Fine, but there's no way I'm wearing heels." I responded as I took a good look at myself again.

Converse, my true love.

Kenzie put her arm around me, "Johnny's one lucky guy," She hummed, her voice in a whisper to which I raised a brow.

I opened my mouth to say something but she cut me off putting a finger up to my lip, "Ah ah ah!" She exclaimed. "Tonight is going to me so much fun!"

I laughed, nodding slightly, "Looks like it."

...Oh little did I know.
