Valentina POV

𝑴𝑨𝒀𝑨 and I were sitting in the bay window. Riley was in the shower, so the two of us were just talking.

"So I need to tell you something." I said

"What's up?" Maya asked

"Josh and I are dating." I said

I was scared of how Maya would react. Maya turned to me. 

"What?" Maya asked

I frowned.

"Josh and I..." I started

"No, I heard you. Since when?" Maya asked

"Two weeks ago when you and Riley went on your first dates." I answered

At first Maya goes quiet for a few minutes. She has some tears in her eyes. Then she speaks. 

"Does he make you happy?" Maya asked

I nodded.

"A lot." I said

"Okay." Maya said

"Okay?" I asked, confused

"I'm not mad if that's what you think." Maya said

"Wait, you're not?" I asked

"No, you're happy. That's all that should matter." Maya said 

She hugged me and I hugged her back.
