𝑻𝑾𝑶 years after Jackson's birth, Josh and Valentina desperately wanted a daughter. Jackson and Sebastian ran to the door of the Matthews Apartment on a fine Monday afternoon. Josh had come home from work.

"Daddy!" The two exclaimed

They laughed as Josh picked them up.

"Hey boys." Josh said

Their father laughed as they both pecked him on the cheek.

"Hey babe." Valentina said 

She entered the living room with Noah, Zachary, Mason, Jacob, Ethan, and Aiden behind her. She glided with grace up to her husband and sons, and kissed Josh.

"Ew!" Jackson said

Valentina smiled before pecking her youngest son on the cheek.

"Yuck!" Sebastian said

Valentina kissed him on the cheek.

"Please don't do that in front of me!" A voice whined from the kitchen

Josh turned to see Brett in the doorway.

"Hey Brett." Josh said

"Hey Josh." Brett said

He walked toward Josh and took Jackson out of his arms.

"Uncle Josh!" A voice called

"No way. Is that Jules?" Josh asked 

A little girl with blonde hair appeared in the door.

"It's me Uncle Josh." Julianna said 

She goes over and gives Josh a hug.

"So what brings you here?" Josh asked

"Can't I come and visit my best friends and nephews once in a while?" Brett joked

"Point taken. How are you Jules?" Josh asked 

He, Valentina, Noah, Zachary, Mason, Jacob, Ethan, Aiden, Sebastian, Jackson, Brett, and Julianna were all seated at the long kitchen table.

"I'm fine." Julianna said 

"Mom, you okay?" Noah asked Valentina

"Hmm? Oh yes I'm fine." Valentina said 

A small smile covers her lips.

"Noah's right, Valentine. You don't like all that good." Josh said 

He turns to see his wife's pale face.

"Do you need to lay down?" Brett asked 

"I said I'm fine!" Valentina hissed

She sat Sebastian next to his father, before racing off to the bathroom. She fell to her knees at the toilet and threw up. Come to think of it; she hadn't been feeling the best all day. Could she be pregnant again? She was lucky that she had a spare pregnancy test in the top drawer of the bathroom vanity. She used it and waited an anxious 5 minutes for the results. The test showed two lines meaning that she was indeed pregnant again. 

Gathering her thoughts and the test, she went back out to the living room where she was greeted by Mason.

"Mom are you okay?" Mason asked

"Yes, honey. Everything's fine." Valentina said

"Josh, Brett take a look at this." Valentina said 

She handed Josh the test.

"It's a pregnancy test." Josh said 

He allowed his eyes to grow as he saw the positive test.

"You're pregnant!" Josh exclaimed 

He showed the test to Brett.

"50/50 chance it's a girl! 50 bucks!" Brett exclaimed

"You're on!" Josh said 

He held 50 bucks between his fingers before slipping it into his pocket.

"Oh please! Don't tell me that you two are betting on whether this baby will be a girl." Valentina complained 

Ethan pulled himself onto her lap. Josh picked up Aiden who had been tugging on his pant leg.

"What you want, buddy? A little brother or a little sister?" Josh asked 

Aiden thought about it for a second. 

"Sister!" Aiden squealed

"Well it's currently 2 to 1." Brett said 

He held up his hand for the money that Josh would soon owe him.

"So you're telling me you want another son?" Valentina asked 

She folds her arms across her chest and gives her husband the stink eye.

"Don't most fathers want sons?" Josh asked, trying to defend himself

"Some want daughters too, mate. I mean when Hollie was pregnant with Jules, all I wanted was a daughter and I got my wish. I got another daughter when Liliana was born and later I got a son when Nick was born. Hollie wanted at least one son so we both got our wishes granted." Brett explained 

"So you're saying that Valentina wants a daughter and I want sons. Well I've already got eight sons so maybe it's time for Valentina to get her wish." Josh said, feeling rather defeated

"We'll just have to see how the pregnancy turns out." Valentina said

Josh and Brett looked at each other knowing that Valentina was right. It depended on the pregnancy to determine what the baby would be.

It wasn't until month five when Valentina started wishing more and more that her new baby would be a girl.

"Valentina. Why are you buying all that pink? You don't know whether your baby is a girl yet, do you?" Hollie asked

Valentina merely ignored Hollie's question. Valentina had asked Hollie to come shopping with her only Hollie didn't know that Valentina want to go baby girl shopping. She had a hunch that her baby was going to be a girl.

"Okay, I think I've got everything I need." Valentina said 

"Where to now?" Hollie asked 

She got to her feet. She had been resting her head on a statue.

"Well, I did promise Josh and the boys this morning that I would meet them at the Cory and Topanga's so I suppose we go there." Valentina said, thoughtfully

"Oh good. I do enjoy Topanga's cooking." Hollie said

Valentina hugged her before they headed to the Matthews House, with their shopping in tow.

"Cory? Panga?" Valentina called 

She placed the shopping on the kitchen table.

"Hey Tina, hey Hollie." Cory said

"Hi Cory." Valentina said

She went over to hug her brother-in-law.

"Hello Cory. How are you?" Hollie asked

"Just fine thanks, Hollie. I see you two have been busy." Cory said 

He eyed Valentina's shopping.

"Cory?" Topanga called

She entered the kitchen with her face smeared with dirt, indicating that she had been working in her garden.

"Hi Panga." Valentina said

Valentina grinned.

"Hello Topanga." Hollie said

She gave the same grin.

"Hey girls!" Topanga said 

She went over to hug the girls.

"Um Panga you have-" Valentina started

Valentina pointed to the spot of dirt on her sister's face.

"Oh!" Topanga said

She wipes the dirt from her face.

"Is Josh here?" Valentina asked 

She didn't want Topanga to get started on her shopping trip.

"Yes he is. He's outside with all the other kids." Topanga said 

She was unaware of the shopping on the table. Valentina and Hollie hurried out the back door to see Josh with Ethan and Aiden in his lap, Riley, holding Sebastian, and Maya, holding Jackson, on either side of him. Heavily pregnant, Cora sat beside Smackle on the grass. Farkle and Lucas were talking by the porch. Jacob, Mason, and Zachary were running around with Kali (Lucas and Riley's daughter), Liliana and Nick (Hollie and Brett's son and daughter), Emily (Lucas and Maya's daughter), Blake (Connor and Cora's son), and Quinton (Farkle and Smackle's son). Noah and Julianna were sitting under a tree, talking.

"Vale!" Cora cried 

She hobbled over to her.

"Hi Cora. Wow! You are getting big." Valentina teased

"Thanks Vale, but I wouldn't let Connor hear you say that." Cora said

"Mommy!" Ethan and Aiden cried 

They leapt from their father's lap before rushing over to their mother.

"Hi boys!" Valentina said

The boys hugged her legs.

"Hey Valentine." Josh said 

He came over to kiss his wife.

"Hi baby. I did my shopping today." Valentina said, gleefully

Josh's eyes grew wide. 

"Oh Valentine you didn't?" Josh asked

"I couldn't help it." Valentina complained

"Aunty Hollie!" Ethan said

He toddled over to Hollie who picked him up.

"Hello Ethan." Hollie said 

She hugged the younger twin.

"Topanga won't be happy with you." Cora warned

"I really couldn't care less what Panga says." Valentina said, crossly

"VALENTINA ELIZABETH MATTHEWS!" Topanga yelled

"I smell trouble." Connor muttered 

Valentina marched back in the house.

"Explain the shopping on the table. NOW!" Topanga yelled

Valentina explained why she and Hollie had gone shopping but Topanga wasn't buying it.

"For God's sake, Panga! It's my life and I'll do what I want with it!" Valentina hissed

Topanga knew that her sister was right so she resided in defeat.

The next four months zoomed by rather quickly and Valentina got even more excited but the arrival of her next and final child. However, one night things came to an abrupt haul when Valentina went into labor late one night. She had been sitting up reading to Jacob, Ethan, and Aiden when her waters broke.

"Josh!" Valentina yelled

Josh came bolting into the room with Connor and Cora at his heels. They had been visiting the family.

"What's wrong?" Josh asked, panicked 

"The baby! It's coming!" Valentina shrieked

"This is like when I gave birth to Lizzie!" Cora said 

She helped Connor pick Valentina up. Josh grabbed the boys and they drove to the hospital.

They reached the hospital.

"What's happening, Daddy?" Mason asked 

"Your mother is about to give birth to your little brother or sister." Josh said 

He was trying to stay calm for the sake of the boys. Brett and Hollie ran into the hospital a few minutes later.

 "Uncle Brett! Aunt Hollie! What are you doing here?" Noah asked

"Connor called and told us. Bet's still on Josh." Brett said 

He had an evil grin on his face. Josh nodded before rushing to Valentina's.

"Hi, I'm Joshua Matthews my wife's in labor. I'm her husband and these are our boys and our family friends." Josh said

"Come on through!" The nurse said

The rushed through the corridor to the maternity ward of the hospital. Josh put Valentina down on the bed just as a nurse walked in.

Eight hours later, the doctor said it was time to push.

"Mrs. Matthews breathe!" The doctor said

Josh and Topanga kneeled on side of the bed and grabbed Valentina's hands just as she let out a feral scream as she pushed the baby into the world. After ten agonizing minutes the baby was finally brought into the world. Valentina relaxed on the bed letting go of her sister and husband's hands.

"What is it?" Noah asked 

"It's a girl! You have a little sister." The nurse said

"Yes! I win. Hand it over, buddy." Brett said

Brett put his hand out and Josh fished around in his pocket and found the fifty dollars that he had promised Brett months earlier.

"Miracle Topanga." Josh said

The nurse handed him his newborn daughter. Valentina looked down at her husband and nodded in agreement.

"You're naming her after Auntie Panga?" Zachary asked

"Yes we are. Do you like it, buddy?" Josh asked

Zachary nodded and so did Noah, Mason, Jacob, Ethan, Aiden, Sebastian, and Jackson.

"Thank you, Josh, Vale. I am truly honored." Topanga said 

Tears started to flow down her face as she looked at the newest Matthews.

Miracle Topanga was the most beautiful little girl that anyone had ever seen. She looked like Valentina in every way. Josh and Valentina couldn't wait to introduce her to all their friends and family.
