( S3E21 ) "girl meets goodbye"

Valentina POV

( noah is 24 weeks old )

𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀𝑶𝑵𝑬 is at the Matthews Apartment because Topanga is consulting us about her job offer in London. Riley, Maya, and Cory walk into the apartment.

"Hi." Riley said

Riley and Maya move to sit on the couch.

"Mom?" Riley asked

"Yeah. Big decision, and I wanted some advice. Who better to give us advice than... these people who've all loved each other forever?" Topanga asked

Topanga sits down and Eric moves to the middle of the room. He starts moonwalking backwards and I shake my head.

"Fa-ha-fa... Fa-ha-hay... Fa-fa-fa..." Eric said

He looks down.

"I'm not talking to you!" Eric exclaimed

"And I'm not talking to you." Mr. Feeny said

"Fine." Eric said

"Double fine." Mr. Feeny said

Eric points at Mr. Feeny.

"I taught you that!" Eric said

"And I taught you everything else." Mr. Feeny said

"Then why don't I know anything?!" Eric yelled

"I've been asking myself the same thing for as long as I've known you Eric." I said

Josh chuckles and I bounce Noah.

"Hey, Morgan. Hey, Morgan." Eric said

"My brothers! My sisters!" Josh said

He gestures to Cory, Eric, Hollie, Morgan 1, and Morgan 2.

"Yeah, you know, we haven't all been in the same place together for a long time." Cory said

"I don't think we've ever been in the same place together." Morgan 1 said

Morgan 2 shook her head.

"No." Morgan 2 said

"Okay, we're gonna do this one at a time." Topanga said

We all nod, everyone leaves the room except for Topanga, Riley, Cory, Maya, Shawn, and Katy.

Later, Josh and I walk into Topanga's, I'm pushing Noah in his stroller. We see Riley, Maya, Lucas, Farkle, Smackle, and Zay all sitting together.

"Hey." Josh said

"What do you want?" Maya asked

"We were thinking about you guys and what you all must be feeling." Josh said

He pulls over two stools.

"Thought we should come over. Would it be okay if we sat with you guys here?" I asked

"Oh, my gosh. I know what this is. Life is trying to replace you. Life moves fast. Life does a good job. Wait. You're actually leaving. You're really gonna go." Maya said

Riley looks around at her friends.

"You guys are gonna be fine. We all will be fine. We have to be fine. Okay?" Riley said

Lucas stands up and nods his head at the door. Smackle stands up.

"Smackle." Farkle said

Smackle sits back down and Riley heads outside with Lucas. Maya eventually follows the two out.

The next day we are all gathered in Topanga's.

"There are lots of places you'll go. I remember another time we were all going someplace. And what I said to... you two..." Cory said

He points at Josh and Hollie, who smile.

"Seems like yesterday. You're gonna learn from it every day." Cory said

"Gonna make mistakes. You're gonna make good friends, too." Shawn said

"And even though it'll seem like the world goes out of its way to teach you hard lessons..." Katy started

"It's the same world that gave you your friends and your family." Topanga said

"You'll come to believe the world is gonna protect you, too." Cory said

"Girl Meets World." Riley said

"Now I get it." Maya said

A guy walks in.

"Topanga's." The guy said

"Yeah. Topanga's. That's me." Topanga said

"You still open?" The guy asked

"Yeah. We're not going anywhere." Topanga said

She shows the guy to a table and Katy gets back to work.

"So, after you've met the world for a while, the best thing that happens is to find out just where it is you belong. We did. Now it's your turn." Cory said

We all walk off leaving Maya and Riley alone. I pick up Noah from his stroller.

"It's your world now, little man." Josh said

"You know what's out there? The world. You're gonna be part of it someday." I said

Noah looks at us and smiles.

"You'll come to believe the world is gonna protect you, too." Josh said

I look at Josh and give him a kiss on the lips.

"I love you, Joshie." I said

"I love you too, Valentine." Josh said
