π“‹Όπ“Š. Mini color theory lesson!

A theme should be appealing to the eye! For both attraction purposes and for aesthetics (if you want that), it's important to keep a color palette with eye-appealing colors. So this just a small guide for color mix and matches! Of course, you don't have to follow these totally.

Each cover or theme should have a primary color and a secondary! Primary colors are your main color, whilst your secondary would be used for highlights and add-on. Here is an example:

The primary color used for this cover was blue! While white and darker shaded blues were use as highlights and add-on media! Your color palette for your theme should consist of a main color (shown on color wheel) and a lighter or darker shade of that color for contrast! Hopefully that made sense?...
If you'd like to make your theme more extravagant you can use one of the following color palettes as an example.

                                                      Color Guide !

                   Primary/Main                                   Secondary/highlights

                           Red                                                         Yellow & Orange

                        Purple                                                        Blue or Yellow

                          Pink                                                                  Green

π“‹Όπ“Š. In simpler terms, whatever color is opposite to your main color is the complemtary color that will work well with you theme

Depending on your colors, black/grey or white should be used for highlighting (to catch peoples attention), if your palette is a mixture of darker shades of primary colors, I'd recommend to use white, neon, or pastel shades of that primary color! Some goes vice versa. If your palette is pastel and light, use grey or black for highlighting areas to make it appealing.

(Of course this doesn't apply to all your themes, there are some exceptions ;D)
