THE CAST WAS IN NEW YORK, ON SET FOR JIMMY KIMMEL'S NIGHT SHOW.

They stood behind the elevator doors, waiting for their names to be called, chuckles and giggles escaping their mouths as they speak amongst themselves in hushed whispers, excited to be interviewed for the first time since filming.

The doors open as a rock guitar plays at their entrance. Immediately, their t.v smiles replace their genuine ones as they slowly make their way out of the elevator into the studio where the crowd, cameras, and Kimmel awaited them. As soon as they're visible to the public eye, loud cheers erupt in the room as the crowd stands up in greeting, lighting it up and their smiles as well.

Robert and Taylor are the first to pull Kimmel into a hug, before moving to the side to let the others greet him, taking their places on the couch. Taylor takes her place between Zoe and Robert on the couch, waving to the crowd as they took their place and their cheers.

"Welcome!" Jimmy Kimmel greets louder, taking his seat by the other side of the couch and by his usual desk. The cheers grow even louder as the cast looks at the crowd who still stood on their feet to applaud and cheer them on, some whistling too.

"I will say, I was driving into work this morning, and thank you guys for being here. I don't think we've had more of Hollywood Boulevard closed off for a premiere. And that, includes 'Star Wars'." Jimmy begins, and the cast turns their attention to him.

"Do you feel at all competitive with the 'Star Wars' franchise?" Jimmy questions, as Paul breaks into a throaty laugh at his curiosity. Taylor chuckles as Holland gives a reply to him, "No, no."

"Tom doesn't, but Robert, Taylor, you do, right?" Jimmy looks at the pair with shifting eyes. Robert answers him, "I, uh, I watched those movies, I mean- I'm a consumer first and foremost."

"That's- He's always said that, hasn't he, Taylor?" Jimmy looks at the woman who merely replies with a nod, "Yep." Jimmy and the rest chuckle at her words.

"Do you still get nervous about a premiere, and who did you guys select to bring to this premiere?" Jimmy asks, and the cast looks at each other in curiosity of the other's answers.

"Uh, I am bringing my grandmother. But she's a diva, she's gonna steal the red carpet. She showed up wearing the most gorgeous with, like, red lipstick." A chorus of 'aw's spread around the room, but Zoe's quick to shut them down, "Yeah, don't go 'aw', she's a diva." She chuckles.

"Tom, did your family come out from England to be here for this?" Everyone looks to him as Jimmy questions him next. Tom answers, "They did, I actually brought my Mum, and my two twin brothers. ah, I see there's a fan base for my brothers." A woman in the crowd cheers loudly, turning Tom's attention to the crowd as he smiles at the reaction, whoops and claps running around the room.

"Taylor, is your father joining you as he always has on these premieres?" The woman gives him a huge smile, a genuine one, as she responds, "Yeah, my dad's joining me, as always." Once again, the crowd in the studio goes wild, clapping for the woman as she gives them smiles, turning her eyes away from Kimmel to acknowledge them as she waves a hand with a joyful mutter of  "Thank you, guys."

One thing about the Cruise father and daughter, whenever there was a premiere for either of their movies, they'd always show up for one another, that too in matching outfits. It had been like that since the first role Taylor had gotten, for the Archer, a huge Marvel superhero slash vigilante. 

For the premiere of her first film, the both of them had shown up in all blacks, her father in a suit, while she was dressed in a perfectly fitted dress with a short slit at the front, and golden bow and arrows as intricate details on it.

"Now, when you have kids, and you are a Marvel superhero, is it exciting for them, or is it just like, oh dad, mom's at work, and no big deal, really?" Kimmel asks the cast, and they take turns answering him, Paul goes first.

"Well, my daughter just tortures me with it. Initially, she was kind of- she was amazed by me being purple, whenever I took off the make-up. She was three years old, and she was like 'I WANT PURPLE DADDY!' She was furious, and now she just tortures me, she's in love with Downey and Cruise.." Kimmel cuts in, a curious expression on his face, "Oh really?"

The crowd 'aw's at the man's explanation, some claps going off here and there.

"Taylor, what's it like with your dad? Does he understand it all, or like, ask you questions about it?" Kimmel looks in her direction when he asks, and she smiles, scoffing out a laugh and shaking her head.

"Yeah, well, he's kinda like, old, now, sorry, dad!" 

She looks at the camera with a sheepish look before continuing, smiling as the crowd cracks up, "No, but, he, the other day, we were watching I think 'Age of Ultron', and we're sitting on the couch, and we're having a fun time, and we're like, halfway in the film, alright?" She looks at Downey who just covers his face, knowing what she's going to say next.

"And then, he puts down his bowl of popcorn, turns towards me, and asks me, with nothing but, like, pure confusion, on his face, and he goes, "So, which one do you play again?" Taylor throws her hands up in exasperation as the crowd breaks into laughs and claps at her words. 

She turns to everyone beside her who was also laughing. 

"I hope that answers your question, Jimmy!" Taylor laughs out loud with her cast mates.
