Ayako yawned in her seat. It was a day before the final match. She slumped back in her seat, looking out the window, dark rings under her green eyes.

She had been staying up, helping Shoyo with his receiving form, while also helping Kageyama and Shoyo get along.

Yamaguchi worriedly looked at Ayako. He glanced over at Tsukishima, who seemed to be done with the work already, just listening to his music.

He looked back at Ayako, who's head was nodding off, before she snapped her eyes opened and looked down at the work, only half done.

He watched as she sighed in exhaustion and continued writing the answers on the paper.

The bell rang, indicating that lunch had started. Yamaguchi was about to watch as Ayako would normally grab her bento box and walk off somewhere.

But she didn't. She just kept finishing her work before pulling out her bento box and setting it on her desk.

Yamaguchi pulled his chair over to Ayako's desk, sitting down, putting his bento box next to hers.
Ayako used chopsticks and grabbed a sushi from hers, plopping it into her mouth.

"S-so.. Koizumi~chan..Why aren't you sitting with someone this time?"

Ayako hummed in response. She looked up at Yamaguchi, comfortable enough.

"H-he's practicing volleyball right n-now.."

Yamaguchi nodded in acknowledgement, before stopping after hearing the word volleyball.

Practicing Volleyball? Is her friend Daichi? Or maybe Suga, since she's so shy and innocent..

Tsukishima leaned forward in his chair, removing his headphones, letting them rest around his neck.

"Practicing Volleyball huh? What's his name?"

Tsukishima said, Ayako turning her head to face Tsukishima.

"H-Hinata Shoyo.."

She quietly said, before plopping another sushi into her mouth, looking back at her bento box.

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi's face showed pure shock after hearing his name come out of her mouth.

Hinata's so... Energetic and loud and extroverted, while Ayako... She's the complete opposite.. How-

Ayako paid no attention to their reaction, too busy thinking about ways on how to make Kageyama and Shoyo have a better bond than the one they have now.

"Ahh, so Chibi~chan is friends with the troublemaker."

Ayako looked over at Tskuishima, seeing him smirk.

"Y-you know Shoyo~kun?"

So they're on a first name basis already.. Are they..? Nah she's too innocent to understand the dating concept..

Yamaguchi thought, while Tsukishima kept teasing Ayako about her height.

"Chibi~chan~. How tall are you~? 3 ft~?"

Tsukishima cooed, in a teasing tone. Ayako pouted even more, making the two boys think about how adorable she was.

"I-I'm 5'1..."

She said, looking down at her lap in embarrassment. Tsukishima covered his mouth, trying to not laugh. Yamaguchi just smiled.

Ayako pouted and stuck her tongue out at Tsukishima before facing towards her bento and finishing her sushi.

Tsukishima smirked, satisfied with her reaction. He leaned back into his seat, putting his headphones back on as the bell rang, indicating that lunch has ended.

Yamaguchi waved at Ayako, who waved back, and pulled his chair back to his desk, sitting down and putting away his bento box.

Today was the day. The day of the 3 vs 3. And Ayako was nervous.

She could feel the butterflies bounce around in her stomach, almost feeling nauseous. It didn't help the fact that Shoyo was currently dragging her there.

Shoyo was also running. Ayako felt even more nauseous by the time they stopped. She put her hand over her mouth and clutched her stomach.

"Ayako~chan! Today is the day! Do you think we'll wii-KYAA!!"

Shoyo asked her, before turning around and seeing Ayako's condition. Shoyo yelled and worriedly walked her to the closest bathroom, waiting for her outside.

He heard the door open to reveal a ill looking Ayako, her slouching a bit. He opened his bag and handed her a water bottle, in which she thanked him and drank some water.

"You okay now Ayako~chan?"

Ayako nodded, gripping his sleeve again as they walked into the gym. He smiled on the inside as he felt her grip around his sleeve.

Shoyo always thought it was adorable when she grabbed his sleeve. He only suggested it once back in junior high because she kept getting lost through the hallways. Now it was an adorable habit that she had.

"O-Ohayo..(G-Good Morning.)"

"Ohayoo~!"

Both Shoyo and Ayako said as they entered the gym. Shoyo immediately went to the changing room, Ayako letting go of his sleeve.

She looked around and noticed that only Tanaka and Suga were there. Suga turned to Ayako and smiled, waving towards her. She gently smiled back, waving with her sweater paw.

Kawaii, is she always this adorable?..

Suga thought, his smile brightening more. Tanaka waved at Ayako as well, receiving the same wave that Ayako gave to Suga.

His heart did a little jump after he saw her smile. Tanaka covered his eyes with his hands.

"Too bright, Too bright!"

Ayako tilted her head, confused. She walked up to Tanaka and crouched down a bit, looking up at him.

"T-Tanaka~senpai? Are you alright?.."

He peaked through his fingers, before closing them and falling over, landing on his butt.

Ayako yelped out in surprise, kneeling down besides Tanaka, making sure he didn't have a heart attack or something.

Suga facepalmed, shaking his head a bit while chuckling. He put his hand on Ayako's shoulder and rubbed it a bit, reassuring her that he was alive.

Ayako looked at Tanaka before standing up and sitting on the bench. Suga watched her as she made her way to the bench before tending to Tanaka.

Kageyama then opened the gym door, entering. He looked over to his right, seeing Ayako worriedly look at something.

Confused, he followed her line of sight before seeing Tanaka laying on the floor, muttering about how "bright Ayako" is.

He shook his head at the sight of his upperclassmen on the floor. He walked towards the changing room.

Daichi then came out of the closet

And walked towards Suga, asking him what happened.

After hearing the situation, he sighed and just smacked Tanaka on his back, Tanaka finally snapping out of his trance.

Tanaka gave him a 'what the fuck was that for?!' look. Daichi sighed and pointed at Ayako, who was visibly worried.

Tanaka chuckled awkwardly before waving to Ayako. Ayako sighed in relief, relaxing after knowing he was okay.

Ayako stood up, eyes widened. Everyone else in the room had the same expression. Tsukishima was the first to shake it off.

"Please, It was just a quick attack, nothing new."

Ayako gasped a little at his small reaction. She gulped before raising her voice a little, so that everyone could hear her.

"T-that's not all T-Tsukishima~kun.. Kageyama~kun threw the ball so that Shoyo~kun's hand instantly hit it d-down.. B-but Shoyo~kun kept his eyes closed."

Ayako stuttered out, fiddling with her fingers as everyone looked at her in shock and awe.

She's got really good observational skills.. We could use that to our advantage if she became our coach.. As if she would-

Suga thought, shaking his head at the thoughts. Ayako looked at him with a confused expression, tilting her head to the side.

Suga just smiled at her and pat her on the head. Ayako flinched before nudging closer to the pats, enjoying it. Suga was surprised at her reaction but just continued, noting how adorable she was.

Everyone else stared at Suga with jealousy, before continuing the game. Tsukishima scoffed.

I'm sure it was just a fluke. There's no way that was intentional, especially when they barely practiced it.

The game had ended with Hinata's team winning, 2-1. Ayako was standing next to Shoyo, as she watched him try to shake hands with Tsukishima.

Tanaka walked over to where Suga and Daichi were, watching the first years mess around.

"Tsk, First Years are a different breed."

Daichi chuckled before calling out to Kiyoko.
Suga just shook his head as he looked at Ayako, who was trying to hold Hinata back as he tried to smack Tsukishima's hand.

Tanaka followed his gaze, curious to see what Suga was staring at. He saw Ayako pout.

Thud

Everyone turned to see what caused it, seeing Tanaka passed out on the floor, his soul leaving his body through his mouth, waving everyone goodbye while he cried tears of joy.

"R.I.P. Tanaka."

Tsukishima said in a sarcastic voice before turning towards Kiyoko.

Yamaguchi laughed a bit at Tsukishima's comment before looking at Ayako.

She was kneeling down next to Tanaka, poking his cheeks and calling out his name, obviously worried.

She's too pure for this world..

He thought as he thanked Kiyoko for the jacket. Daichi then called Ayako over. She hesitated and then walked over to Daichi.

"So I was thinking Ayako.. We don't have a coach, and I recognized that you have amazing observational skill. I was wondering if you'd like to become our coach.?"

Ayako pondered for a bit, pouting as she thought about the offer. Daichi smiled on the inside, thinking about how cute her pout was.

If I became the Coach.. I could help them with their receives since I used to be a Libero... I could also help them during timeouts.. I'd also see Shoyo~kun play more..

Ayako looked up at Daichi, her green eyes showing determination.

"I-I'll do it."
