"Go go Date Tech, Date Tech here we go!"

Ayako's eyebrow twitched in annoyance. She never liked hearing anyone's cheer. She always found it irritating.

Date Tech had the first serve, their number 1 doing the deal. It went straight for Daichi, who received it perfectly towards Kageyama.

"Nice receive!"

Kageyama set it towards Hinata, who was already in position. But their number 7, Aone, instantly got into position to block Hinata. Hinata panicked halfway and hit the ball, but still earned them a point.

"Nice moves Hinata!"

Takeda was surprised by them moving after the set was made. Ukai explained it to him, noting that Date Tech only uses Read Blocking rather than the usual "commit block".

Ayako was worried. She didn't plan much for this lineup since she was mostly focused on making a lineup for Aoba Johsai.

Kageyama then served, but it went straight for the libero, making him receive it. The ball then went to their number 2, who set it towards number 7.

Nishinoya received the ball just in time before it hit the ground.

"Tanaka Cover it!"

"Got it!"

As Tanaka got into position, Asahi called for a back attack. Tanaka set it towards Asahi, who slammed the ball towards the otherside. But the ball was blocked.

"Don't let it get you down! Keep going!"

Nishinoya held his head down in dissatisfaction. He walked up to Asahi, who looked at him confused.

"I'll get the next one, sorry!"

Asahi put his hand on Nishinoya's shoulder, making him look up at Asahi.

"Don't worry, it's alright. I'll do better as well."

Their number 6 served the ball, but Tanaka received the ball. It went straight for Kageyama, making Hinata sprint into position.

Ayako's eyes lit up as Hinata spiked the ball down, hearing the satisfying thud following afterwards.

No matter how many times she sees their fast attack, she's always amazed by it. Ayako isn't the only one. Date Tech and their coach and team manager were surprised as well.

The crowd went wild, making Ayako smile. Nishinoya and Tsukishima changed places.

"Hey your highness, how about a little something further from the net, I'd like to stay clear of their blcokers."

"...sure Asshole."

"Huh, what'd you say?"

"I said sure!"

Ayako shook her head from the scene. Tanaka was trying to defuse the situation, while Daichi was emitting a fiery aura in the background.

I guess it's better than them being anxious like Shoyo~kun..

The points kept going back and forth, the gap not changing a bit. Karasuno was in the lead by 2 points. Hinata came into the rotation.

Ayako was a little nervous, since Aone had also came into their rotation, infront of Hinata.

The ball was served by their number one. The ball hit the top of the net, but tipped over to Karasuno's side. Nishinoya thankfully received it, but it went all the way towards the back of the court.

Kageyama sprinted towards the ball, jumping up and setting it back to the front, where Hinata was waiting to spike it down.

Thud

Ayako grinned, seeing Date Tech's reaction. Date Tech called an immediate time out, the whistle blowing.

Ayako immediately got up and helped Kiyoko hand out the water bottles. She handed Kageyama and Nishinoya a water bottle.

"Good job you g-guys!"

Hinata smiled and pat her on the head. She nuzzled into his hand a little before taking their water bottles again and putting it on the tray.

Ayako went back to her seat and sat down, looking back onto the court. She noticed that everyone had their eyes on Hinata.

"That's right Kageyama. We're building a reputation with everybody talking about our little red 10. So we need Hinata to shine bright out there."

Oh yea.. Let Hinata shine so that the other spikers can make points..

"Gosh darn it, we almost missed the game!"

"Customers are rare!"

Ayako looked up towards the bleachers. It was the two players from the Neighborhood Association Team.

A group of girls also came into view. The main one had short brown hair. They waved towards Ayako, who waved back.

That was... Michimiya~Senpai? I remember seeing Daichi~senpai in the hallways with her during lunch time I think.

Date Tech served the ball, causing Nishinoya to receive it. It went to Kageyama, Tanaka and Hinata sprinting towards the front.

Hinata faked jumping, causing their number 6 and 7 to jump and try to block them. But Hinata then jumped and spiked the ball down, earning Karasuno another point.

The ball was served again but received, sending it back to Kageyama again. Hinata ran from one point, causing number 6 and 7 to jump again, but Hinata ran towards the left rather than jump.

Hinata jumped and spiked the ball, but Aone quickly made his way infront of Hinata and blocked the ball, earning Date Tech their point.

Their number 6 then served the ball, but Daichi received it. Tanaka tried setting it towards Hinata, but they blocked him.

Nishinoya thankfully received it, sending it back to Kageyama. Daichi, Tanaka, and Hinata started running towards the front.

As soon as Hinata swiped his hand down, Aone saw Asahi from behind, doing a back attack. Ayako saw Asahi smile a bit, before slamming the ball back down.

Ayako screamed in joy, clapping her hands. She calmed down, sitting down. She looked over to the points.

Karasuno - 24

Date Tech - 19

She looked back towards the court, putting her hands on her lap. Ayako knows how much they want to win against Date Tech, especially after their last game with them.

Thud

Ayako quickly looked up, noticing that Asahi had earned them a point, winning first set. Ayako clapped, yawning a little.

"Koizumi~chan, lets go."

"H-Hai.."

She handed out water bottles again, to Asahi and Tanaka. Ayako then quickly took their water bottles back after they were done.

She grabbed the tray and walked towards Kiyoko.

"Kiyoko~senpai, I'm going to refill them."

"Be careful Koizumi~chan."

"Hai~."

When Ayako came back, Karasuno had 24 points while Date Tech had 21 points. Nishinoya came back, switching with Tsukishima.

Ayako walked up to him and handing him his water bottle. Nishinoya thanked her, patting her on the head. He took a swig before noticing that Hinata had accidentally served out.

He handed Ayako his water bottle before running onto court, switching with Hinata.

The ball was served, making Nishinoya receive it. It went towards Kageyama, who set it towards Tsukishima.

Tsukishima spiked the ball but their libero received it. Aone tried spiking it down but Tanaka received it. It went towards Kageyama, who set it to Asahi.

Asahi tried spiking it down but it was blocked by their number 7 and 2. It went towards the back, but Nishinoya received it.

Kageyama set it back to the front, where Asahi and Aone did a joust. Aone won, pushing the ball towards the other side.

The next few moments, Ayako's eyes lit up. Nishinoya had received the ball with his foot. The ball went back to Kageyama, who gave Asahi his favorite set.

Everyone cheered for Asahi, trying to give him courage. He spiked it down but the ball was semi-blocked, making it fly towards the right.

It rolled along on top of the net, before falling onto Date Tech's side, earning Karasuno their 25th point, signalling that Karasuno had won the 2nd set.

Kiyoko gently grasped Ayako's wrist, slightly dragging her towards the banner so they could line up.

Ayako got the hint and bowed, same for the rest of the team.

"Thank you for coming!"

The team went up to the bleachers to watch Aoba Johsai's game. Ayako was sitting beside Takeda, slightly dozing off.

"The great king is awesome! I wanna play him!"

"Me too!"

Ayako stood up and karate chopped Hinata on the head, causing him to quiet down.

The whistle blew, signalling that Aoba Johsai had won their second set. Ayako sighed and shivered, already sensing the anxiety she'll get from trying to make the lineup.

"It's so quiet now."

"Everyone's exhausted."

"Then how come Ayako's asleep?"

Ayako was currently sleeping, laying her head on Kiyoko's shoulder. Kiyoko was patting Ayako on the head.

"She stayed up all night improvising lineups for this game and for Aoba Johsai. I'll have to thank her in some way."

Coach Ukai looked over towards Ayako. He remembered asking her to watch over the disk that his friend would hand over today.

"She's always putting her all into it, making sure that they have a chance to win. Kinda like the Libero, making sure that the ball is always in the air, giving them the hope that they have a chance to win."

"Well sir, she was a libero before."

"What made her quit then?"

Kiyoko shrugged. She looked down towards Ayako.

Koizumi~chan always seems so happy.. She's shy as well, but very knowledgeable in Volleyball.. I wonder if she's doing alright..
