Yeosang was just coming out of class when Lia appeared behind him. He had to swallow, because he had no idea how to deal with her now. Lia was talking about something in class, but Yeosang only listened vaguely. His thoughts were far too confused to concentrate on anything else.

They both arrived at the end of the corridor and a face appeared in front of them. A face Yeosang didn't want to see today of all days. He just wanted to run away, but it was impossible because Jongho came straight towards them. His gaze lingered on the clothes Yeosang was wearing. "Hey, how are you?" he asked friendly and Yeosang had the feeling he couldn't get a sound out so he just smiled painedly.

At the same time, Lia gave her brother a weird look and Jongho sighed. "My friend and I want to go out for dinner this weekend and then sing karaoke, do you want to come with us?" His voice sounded more than just annoyed and Lia glared at him for it. Yeosang digested Jongho's words. "Fine by me." Lia smiled and looked at Yeosang waiting. Yeosang wanted to say no, but it was Jongho who asked. He looked uncertainly back and forth between the two of them. Before he could reply, the silence was cut by a shrill voice and Lia turned around. "My friend is calling me and I'll see you later," she said in Yeosang's direction, then disappeared, her long hair blowing away.

Tensely, Yeosang looked back at Jongho, who was watching him closely. He noticed how Jongho slowly smiled. "My clothes suit you," he remarked and Yeosang felt the warmth rush to his cheeks. He scratched the back of his head uncertainly. "I wanted to thank you for yesterday and apologize." Jongho's smile widened. "It's okay," he said, but Yeosang still didn't feel relieved.

"I shouldn't have drunk so much, I'm really sorry..." The words stuck in his throat, because Jongho put a hand on Yeosang's arm and Yeosang felt a tingling in his stomach.

"It's really all right. You don't need to apologize, it wasn't that bad." Swallowing, Yeosang nodded. His heartbeat became faster and faster.
"I have to go now," Jongho said, withdrawing his hand. "And think about the weekend, I'd be happy if you come." With a final smile, Jongho disappeared and Yeosang was left speechless. What had he just said?

At midday, Yeosang met Wooyoung and Mingi in the park in front of the campus. He approached them with a smile and dropped onto the picnic blanket next to them.

"What's up?" he asked. Mingi held out a bag of chips to him. "Wooyoung just told me that his crush is called San." Wooyoung shook Yeosang excitedly. "Yeah, and he looked so good again today." Mingi rolled his eyes and Yeosang had to laugh. He had missed the two of them.

"How was your weekend?" Wooyoung then changed the subject. Yeosang bit his lower lip. "What?" Wooyoung asked and Yeosang sighed. "Well, I was at the Freshmen party with Lia." Wooyoung's eyes widened. "Lia? Your girlfriend?" Yeosang immediately shook his head. "A girl from my class." Mingi nudged Yeosang. "So how was the party? Woo and I were supposed to come too, but we had so much to do." Yeosang took a deep breath.

"I don't really like parties but I wanted to try it out." Wooyoung and Mingi both nodded. "But what's more important is something I found out." Yeosang paused. "Yes, tell us," Wooyoung prompted him. "Jongho is Lia's brother." Wooyoung's eyes widened and Mingi also looked surprised. "Seriously? I didn't know he had a sister," Wooyoung said.

Mingi started to smile. "Now I understand why you're friends with Lia." Overwhelmed, Yeosang shook his head. "It's not like that. When I was at Lia's house, we met Jongho and only then did I find out. And then he took us to this party and well, I kind of got drunk and then Jongho picked us up and I made a complete fool of myself and threw up in front of him. And Lia said he let me sleep in his room and it was so embarrassing and I couldn't remember anything." The words left Yeosang's mouth so quickly that Wooyoung and Mingi could barely keep up.

Mingi was the first to speak. "You slept in Choi Jongho's room, the Jongho we know?" Yeosang nodded desperately. Now that he was saying it, everything sounded even more absurd. Wooyoung put his hand over his mouth. "Okay, you're a real freshman from now on," he said in shock. Yeosang tilted his head back and looked up into the treetops. Why was everything so complicated?

Mingi was about to object when something hit him on the back. Startled, he turned around and recognized a can of Coke behind him. Everyone looked up and Hongjoong's grin could be seen in the distance. Yunho was standing close behind him. Furious, Mingi turned around again. "What an idiot," he muttered.

"Are you talking about me?" Hongjoong's voice suddenly sounded behind him and Mingi was startled a second time. He turned to Hongjoong and glared at him. "Annoy someone else with your presence and leave us alone." Hongjoong threw up his hands. "No need to freak out right away. I just wanted to say hello." Mingi rolled his eyes. "Piss off," he said annoyed and looked back at Yeosang and Wooyoung.

After he stopped responding, Hongjoong finally disappeared and walked back to Yunho. Mingi looked down at the ground in frustration, then up and noticed the look on Wooyoung's face. "What?" he said. "Don't you want to clear it up with him? You're acting like children." Yeosang nodded in agreement.

Mingi's brow furrowed. "You can't settle anything with Hongjoong, you see how he treats me." Wooyoung sighed. "If you get so angry every time he teases you, he'll never stop." Mingi looked at his best friend. "Oh yeah, and what else am I supposed to do?" Yeosang, who had been listening the whole time, finally spoke his mind.
"I don't know what happened between you two, but I think you should talk about it."

Mingi felt Yeosang's hand on his arm. "What did he do? You can talk to us." Suddenly, Wooyoung grabbed his things and jumped up. "Forget it, he won't tell you anyway like he always does. See you later." Wooyoung disappeared across the meadow. Mingi looked after him thoughtfully, then back at Yeosang, who smiled reassuringly at him. "You don't have to talk about it, but don't get too angry. You're not alone." Mingi's gaze softened. "Thank you." Yeosang nodded.

It was Friday and Yeosang stood nervously in class. He and Lia had to present their project and Yeosang hated nothing more than presentations. Besides, he had hardly spoken to Lia in the last few days. He tried to avoid her, but unfortunately that was no longer possible today.

Yeosang looked nervously at their sculpture, which consisted of a boy and a girl dancing together and looking as if they had merged. He was satisfied with their project, but he still couldn't help but feel anxious.

Yeosang heard a female voice behind him. Relieved, he turned around. Lia stood behind him, smiling. "Are you ready?" Yeosang nodded uncertainly. Lia noticed his worried look. "Don't worry, everything will be fine and we'll definitely get a good grade." Yeosang sighed. "I hope so." Lia grabbed her notes and then they carefully carried the sculpture forward. At the same moment, the professor appeared in the room and sat down. "You can start," she said with a smile and Yeosang's heartbeat quickened.

~

A loud clap rang through the room. Relieved, Yeosang looked at Lia, who beamed at him. They had made it and Yeosang even had a good feeling. "Thank you both," said the professor, and Yeosang was overjoyed as they packed up their things.

After class, Lia came to him.
"Which one of us is actually taking the sculpture with us?" asked Lia, and Yeosang looked at her. "You're welcome to take it. I hardly have any space in my room anyway," Yeosang laughed. Although it still felt strange, the tense atmosphere between them had finally disappeared. Lia nodded and reached for her bag.

Before Yeosang could leave, she grabbed his arm. "Have you actually thought about it? About the meeting tomorrow?" Yeosang looked at her, caught off guard. He couldn't think about anything else. He thought over and over again about whether it was a good idea but he really wanted to go because of Jongho. Besides, it might be a chance to finally talk to Lia. Yeosang cleared his throat resolutely. "I'm coming with you."

Lia looked at him in surprise. "Honestly?" Yeosang nodded. Lia's face turned into bright smile and her cheeks turned pink. "Okay then, I'll see you tomorrow. I'll let you know when and where we're meeting," Lia said. "All right," Yeosang said and they said goodbye. He himself couldn't wait for tomorrow, but that was more due to the fact that he would be spending time with Jongho, though not alone.

Mingi sat in the cafeteria and poked at his food. He hadn't been able to sleep well for days and since today was Friday, he felt like the living dead. His eyes were closing every ten seconds and he just wanted to go to bed, but he still had several hours of lessons. Letagically, he popped a grape into his mouth.

He was too tired to realize that someone was approaching from behind. It was only when something suddenly splashed him from behind that he was startled out of his seat and wide awake. Shocked, he turned around. "Oops," Hongjoong giggled. Mingi's entire back was wet and that wasn't even the worst of it. The stuff stuck like hell.

"Are you crazy?" he shouted angrily, but Hongjoong's smile widened. The students at the other tables stared at them, Mingi swallowed. His hands clenched angrily into fists.

It wasn't long before Yunho appeared behind Hongjoong. Surprised, he looked at the disaster and then pulled Hongjoong to the side. "Don't you think that's enough?" he said, pinching Hongjoong's side. Hongjoong glared at him and his smile disappeared. "Why, it's funny." Yunho shook his head and pointed in Mingi's direction, who was frustratedly trying to keep the wet shirt from sticking to his back. "Can't you see what you're doing to him?" Hongjoong looked at Yunho, then hissed and walked off.

Mingi reached for his tray. This whole day was a disaster. He turned around and was about to leave when someone suddenly held tissues out to him and Mingi looked up. "What do you want?" he asked even more annoyed, because the last thing he needed right now was Yunho to follow up with another prank.

"I still have a clean shirt in my locker," Yunho said. Mingi gave him an irritated look, then rolled his eyes and reached for the tissues. "Save your pity," he said. He pushed past Yunho with his tray and walked away. Yunho looked after him...
