Mingi walked across the campus in the direction of the building where Yeosang had class. As he walked, he had to shake his head with a grin. Wooyoung was crazy. On the other hand, unlike Mingi, he was brave and dared to try things out.
Mingi sighed and opened the door of the building. He walked to the last room, lost in thought, and realized late that there was no one anywhere to be seen. Was everyone gone already? He was about to open the door to the room when his phone rang and he flinched terribly. He held his chest in shock and pulled his phone out of his pocket.
"Hey Yeosang I was just about to..." Yeosang interrupted Mingi. His voice sounded strange. "Mingi, you have to help me," his voice rang out. "Sure, what's going on?" Mingi asked, looking around the half-dark hallway. "Someone locked me in the storage room." Mingi immediately started walking and while Yeosang described the way, his steps became faster and faster until he turned the corner and spotted a familiar face.
He lowered his phone and watched him from a distance, then he understood what was happening. His eyes narrowed and he continued walking. "How come you're here?" he asked with a provocative undertone. The person addressed turned in Mingi's direction and Mingi realized that he was right and that none other than Yunho was standing in front of him.
Yunho looked a little surprised to see Mingi. "Oh, I'm uhm waiting for uhm someone here," he stuttered. Mingi had to smile slightly and crossed his arms. "Oh yeah, aren't you here to lock up a certain person?" Mingi knew that it had been Yunho and that this had all been Hongjoong's doing.
Yunho shook his head hesitantly and tried to push past Mingi, but Mingi shoved himself in his way.
"Was that Hongjoong's idea?" Yunho looked at him. He looked perplexed and puzzled. Mingi rolled his eyes. "It's enough that you're making my life hell, why do you have to mess up my friends' lives too? What does Yeosang have to do with all this?" When Mingi didn't get an answer, he nudged Yunho lightly, causing the older one to stumble backwards a little.
"Hongjoong wants to annoy you, that's all," Yunho finally said. "But this is going too far. What if Yeosang hadn't reached me, what if he'd stayed in there until tomorrow?" Mingi didn't even notice that his voice was getting louder. "Chill. I would have let him out eventually."
Without thinking, Mingi took a step forward and grabbed Yunho by the collar. "It's not funny. You can tell Hongjoong to leave my friends alone or I'll report it to the principal." While they maintained an intense eye contact, Mingi recognized a small smirk on Yunho's lips and it only made him angrier. "Maybe it's just a joke to you, but I've really had enough," Mingi said.
He could tell from the look on Yunho's face that the older one wasn't even taking him seriously. But he's really had enough. Since he had come here a few weeks ago, there had been something different every day that made his daily life more difficult and he didn't understand why Hongjoong and Yunho couldn't just leave him alone.
Mingi let go of Yunho. "Give me the keys," Mingi demanded and Yunho reluctantly pulled them out. Annoyed, Mingi grabbed them and walked past Yunho to the storage room. He unlocked the door and Yeosang immediately came towards him. There was panic in his eyes. Mingi didn't wait long and pulled him into his arms. "I'm here," he whispered.

"I'll have a cappuccino and a brownie," Wooyoung said with a smile and his mysterious crush nodded. Wooyoung took a deep breath and sorted out the words he wanted to say. When the stranger came back and placed his order in front of Wooyoung, Wooyoung gathered the last of his courage and began to speak with a pounding heart.
"Do you work here often? I noticed you the other day as well," he said. The stranger looked at him a little confused at first, but then he smiled and Wooyoung could have screamed at the sight of his dimples.
"The café belongs to me and my friend," he said and Wooyoung nodded with interest. "What's your name?" he asked quickly, as he didn't want his counterpart to leave. "My name is San, why do you ask?" Wooyoung's pulse increased unhealthily. San was the most beautiful name he had ever heard.
Wooyoung swallowed as San scrutinized him. He sincerely hoped his hair looked okay for once. "Well, I was wondering if you wanted to do something with me?" Although it sounded really weird, it was the only thing Wooyoung could do at that moment. Ashamed, Wooyoung looked down at his hands, then up again. To his surprise, San seemed to laugh slightly. "Are you serious?"
Wooyoung nodded with wide eyes. "You're a freshman right?" Wooyoung had no idea how San knew that, but he nodded slowly. San leaned forward a little. "I think you should concentrate on your studies and find someone your own age."
He said these words with the sweetest smile ever, but they still hurt somehow.
Pouting, Wooyoung nodded and picked up his things. San looked after him as he trudged back to the table in frustration. With a little smile, San shook his head and turned to the other guests.

Mingi and Yeosang left the university building in the midday sun. "Thanks again for coming." Mingi just nodded at him and his thoughts wandered to Hongjoong and Yunho. He was no longer in the mood for their games.
They walked a little further when Mingi remembered the person he and Wooyoung had seen in the café. He looked at Yeosang. "You wouldn't believe me we just saw..." He couldn't finish speaking because they were interrupted. "Yeosang!" a bright voice sounded behind them and Mingi and Yeosang turned around in sync.
Yeosang recognized Lia's narrow face. She smiled. "My appointment has been canceled and I wanted to see if you still needed my help." Yeosang had to grin. How could one person be so sweet? "No, everything's fine. I've put our things away," Yeosang said. Lia's gaze wandered from Yeosang to Mingi, who was standing a little behind him.
"This is my friend Mingi, by the way," Yeosang said when he saw the look on her face. "And that's Lia. I'm going to a class with her and we're working on a project together." Lia greeted Mingi and he did the same.
The three of them then walked a little way until Mingi moved away and walked in the direction of a motorcycle. Yeosang and Lia followed him. "You ride a motorcycle?" Lia asked in surprise and Yeosang looked at him in surprise too. Even though he had already guessed it, since Mingi had often had a helmet with him, Yeosang had not expected such a beautiful motorcycle. Mingi smiled slightly sheepishly. "See you tomorrow," he said and sat down on the motorcycle.
Both Yeosang and Lia stared at him until he drove off. "I know a lot of girls who would be interested in him," Lia laughed and Yeosang scratched the back of his neck and turned to Lia. Not knowing what to say, he wanted to say goodbye, but Lia spoke first. "Did you read the news that all the freshmen are meeting up this weekend again?" Yeosang rolled his eyes slightly. "Yes, the next party," Yeosang sighed. Lia giggled and put her hand over her mouth. Yeosang thought it was cute.
"To be honest, I don't really feel it either, especially because my friends can't come. That's why I wanted to ask you something." Yeosang looked at her in anticipation. Lia stroked her long hair nervously. "If you want, we can go there together and maybe work on our project at my place beforehand."
Yeosang thought about it. He wasn't a fan of parties and probably never would be. On the other hand, he thought Lia was really sweet and it wouldn't be nice to say no, would it? For some reason, Yeosang also felt the need to go out instead of just sitting around in his room.
"Sounds good," he said after a while and Lia started to beam. "Really? Okay then, I'll text you the address and the time and I'll see you on Saturday." Yeosang nodded and watched Lia run off happily. She really was the nicest girl friend Yeosang had ever had. She was the only one, though, because he had only ever been friends with boys before.
~
It was Sunday morning and Yeosang was looking for clothes to wear to meet up with Lia and go to the party. While he was rummaging around in his closet, his phone rang. He reached for it and had to smile when he recognized his mother's name on the display.
"Hey." he said when he answered the call. "Yeosang my darling. How is university going? Have you settled in yet?" Yeosang started to tell her about everything and hardly left out a detail. "And how are you? How is Mongi?" Yeosang asked. It was his Maltese. He had adopted him from the animal shelter two years ago.
His mother told him in detail what nonsense his dog had been up to again and how Yeosang's father was doing. Then the call ended and Yeosang felt infinitely happy. Not having any contact with his parents felt more than a little strange, so he was glad that his mother had called him.
~
In a really good mood, Yeosang walked to the address Lia had given him in the afternoon. His day couldn't be going any better. He had spoken to his mother on the phone, found the perfect outfit, which consisted of a loose shirt and loose trousers but still looked chic, and now the sun was shining brightly.
With a broad smile, Yeosang turned into a small street and a short time later he was standing in front of a small house. It fitted Lia perfectly, Yeosang thought to himself as he walked up the small staircase and pressed the doorbell. Although he was a little nervous, he was more than happy. He finally felt like he had arrived. He was finally meeting up with a friend like any normal student. And finally he dared to speak openly in front of others and was no longer as shy as he had been two weeks ago. And it had all started the night he had met Jongho, who had shown him that Yeosang wasn't so different and that maybe everything didn't have to be so scary.
The white door opened and Yeosang recognized Lia's figure. She looked at him happily and invited him into the house. He followed her and took off his shoes. Lia was wearing sweatpants and her usually wavy hair was tied up in a bun. Still, she looked perfect as always.
Yeosang followed Lia through the hallway into the huge living room of the house, which was illuminated by a large window. The furniture was almost all white and generally everything just looked clean and perfect. It was totally Lia's style even though she probably didn't live here alone. "My parents are away for the weekend. Only my brother is here," Lia said and she showed him where he could sit down.
"I'll just get my computer, then we can start straight away," she said and walked off with small steps. Yeosang took off his bag and looked around the living room while he waited on the couch. He immediately felt comfortable and welcome. But that was probably because of Lia and her sweet nature, with which she could charm everyone.
Yeosang started to unpack his notebooks when he heard a soft male voice. The voice slowly got louder and Yeosang fell silent. Then a person came around the corner of the stairs, apparently talking on the phone. Yeosang tried to be as quiet as possible. But when he looked up and recognized the person who had just come down from the stairs, he froze. That couldn't be true, could it?
The person on the phone caught sight of Yeosang a few moments later, and he looked no less surprised. He ended the call and stared at Yeosang. What the hell was Jongho doing here?
At the same moment, Lia came down the stairs behind Jongho and looked at Yeosang, who was sitting there, petrified. "Are you okay?" she asked, looking back and forth between the two of them. Jongho cleared his throat. "You know each other?" he spoke in Lia's direction. Lia looked at him, confused. "Yeah, I told you he was coming over today." Yeosang couldn't understand any word.
"But I didn't know it was Yeosang you were talking about," Jongho said, already putting his phone in his pocket. "Wait, you two know each other?" Lia asked, looking at Yeosang confused.
