"The picture you took last night got so many compliments from editors, y'know?"
Yuna and Komori is now having breakfast in a pancake restaurant. Last night, when they went out, they did take pictures. It started out as just an excuse but the vibe outside where they ate was just so social media worthy.
They ended up making plans to have breakfast together.
"Well, it's a talent," Komori replied. He was wearing a simple beige polo shirt and casual pants.
Yuna chuckled, "You should be my editor. Mine now is kinda creepy." Yuna was wearing an off shoulder light pink shirt paired with a short flowing skirt.
"Why? Did he violate you?" Komori asked. If the editor did, he's ready to throw hands. And maybe some stuff too.
"No, calm down. Anyway, how was Kiyoomi last night?"
"He was gloomy. He didn't want to talk about the kiss."
Yuna rolled her eyes, "I still don't know how you could tell. The guy got one expression. Except when he's with Sakura. I caught a glimpse of this like really loving look. I swear, there's nothing more romantic."
"Hold that thought," Komori held his forefinger up, "just recently, Kiyoomi had this list of restaurants and stores here in Tokyo and there's like, a product from there that he wrote on the side of the store name.
At first, I thought ge was just being more like her mom, a little obsessive with organization but in one store, the product beside it made me curious so I searched it and it was this gorgeous dress. A dress that would really look good on his cherry blossom."
Putting down his finger, Komori smirked.
"What? No way!"
"Yes way, babe."
Yuna was still shocked. She heard stories from you and Komori before but to think he'd still do this much despite being apart for years was astonishing.
"That guy is whipped~!" she sang.
"As a cream."
"But how did you know?"
"I hung out at his apartment after we ate, he always have food and snacks."
"You'll follow anyone with food, wouldn't you?" Yuna teased.
"Pretty much. Gotta stay physically fit."
The brown eyed lady stared at the man eating in front of her. Komori was undoubtedly charming and attractive.
"Well, anyway, don't you think one of them needs to make a move soon?"
"Yes," Komori answered, "Kiyoomi gets easily discouraged. Any more of just this confusion would lessen his confidence."
"Sakura probably cares too much to make a move anytime soon."
Both went silent for a few moments before sighing deeply.
"I miss this, Yuna."
"What?" she asks and looked up from her almost finished pancake.
"You were the one who understands Sakura and I, to Kiyoomi. We've spent a lot of time together, didn't we?"
Yuna looked away and the bright sun shone on her face that Komori didn't notice the redness of her cheeks.
"I'm sorry, I can't go on the blind date this Saturday."
You were now talking to your head chef. The one who set you up. He was on his 5 minute break.
"What? You two would have been great together."
Kaze said 2 weeks ago that he wants to set you up with his friend. You were reluctant but you really didn't expect Kiyoomi to show up.
"It's just, uhm, someone came back and it would be unfair to your friend if I went on this blind date and I was thinking of another man."
"Do we have tea?"
You laughed, "Oh, please stop, you sound like Mina."
"I'm nothing like that loudmouth."
You agreed and nodded. "If it's too uncomfortable for you to tell him, I can just tell him."
"No, it's okay. I'll tell him."
"Maybe I can find someone to set him up with-"
"No! I mean, uh, no, you don't have to." he answered a little too quick and defensively.
"Do you like him?"
"What!? No!" he suddenly rose from his seat and stood up straight. But he isn't.
"I'll go now-"
"I think you should go for it."
He opened his mouth but said nothing. He bowed a bit and ran away. You shook your head as if you were an old woman seeing your grandchild off on a date.
Your phone buzzed, and it's Kiyoomi. You texted him earlier. It took a lot of courage to send a simple greeting. The kiss last night was too vivid to be able to go back to normal. The message earlier simply was greeting him and asking if he has training.
Now, he messaged you saying that he just got off of it.
Saturday came. You continued texting him, greeting him and asking about his plans. Gradually, you thought that the awkwardness that night brought was vanishing.
You were now outside of his training facility. It was near 4pm, the time he usually stops practicing. Komori dropped you off and drove away quickly since he has plans with Yuna.
Breathe in, breathe out. You took the first step and soon it turned into more. Before you knew it, you were standing before the setter if MSBY Black Jackals.
Miya Atsumu.
"Atsumu!" you called.
Atsumu actually thought you were a fan girl.
"Hello, cutie," he replied.
You smiled, realizing he doesn't remember you. Someone's getting in trouble.
"It's me, Sakura! From Itachiyama!"
He chuckled, "I think I would remember a beau- what, no way!? You're Sakura? Omi's girlfriend?"
"Ex-girlfriend, to be exact."
"Shoot," he paled, "I said nothing before I realized who you were, okay? Nothing!"
You didn't reply and just laughed. He had gotten into quite a trouble back then with Kiyoomi. He was always suspected of flirting with you and Kiyoomi's annoyance of him grew.
"I'm begging you, Sakura, please don't tell Omi!"
"Don't tell me what? Atsumu, what did you do?" A cold voice from behind Atsumu spoke.
The blonde grew paler.
"Kiyoomi has a twin, right?"
You burst out laughing. You were being covered by Atsumu's frame that he didn't notice you. But as you laugh, he walked closer and saw you.
"Sakura," his eyes were wide as he took in your presence, "you're here."
"Surprise!" you exclaimed paired with spread arms.
He was beyond happy to see you but that was soon shattered as he realized something. "Atsumu, what did you do?"
"Nothing!"
"He flirted with me," you replied, wanting to see him nervous. Atsumu being all jittery is funny.
His glare was fiery, and he was about to insult Atsumu but you tapped him on the shoulder.
"Energy bar?"
His dark eyes looked over to you. He looked down slightly and shook his head. "Hah, you never change," he said and looked up and stood beside you.
He glanced at Atsumu, "Walk away."
"Atsumu!" you quickly pulled another energy bar and offered it to him. With wary eyes, he took it from your hands.
"He doesn't deserve you," he said and ran away.
"How was your day?" he asked and took the energy bar.
"Fine, I was in my apartment all day, yours?"
"Fun. Did Komori drop you off?"
"Yes," you replied, "but he left quickly because he has a date with Yuna."
"Really? They finally went on a date?"
"No! It's annoying. I want them to date, Komori will be really good to her."
You rambled about how and why you think that is. All the while, Kiyoomi was intently listening. He always liked your rambling and talkative trait. He gets to know you more
"I swear, if I see that one pretentious idiot, devilish woman she dated before again in my life, I'm going to tell her off!"
"Okay, okay, calm down, will you?" he said, and you closed your eyes, "why are you here anyway?"
You opened your eyes and you said, "Surprise!"
"How about your... date?" he spat out the last word.
You looked down, "I didn't go. I can't."
"W-"
"It's true! Kiyoomi's with a girl!" someone shouted.
Hinata Shoyo.
He was one cute guy.
"Ah, Hinata Shoyo-san! Good day to you!" you greeted.
"Hi, and you are?" he replied and offered his hand.
You accepted it before answering, "Minami Sakura."
"Omi's girlfriend?" he shamelessly asked.
Before you two could answer, another loudmouth appeared.
"SAKUSA!" An owl-looking man came into view.
"Atsumu was saying you're going to kill him."
"Bokuto-san!" Hinata called, "She's Minami Sakura, Omi's girlfriend!"
"Girlfriend? Wow! I didn't know you have one! Congratulations!"
Sakusa and you didn't have a chance to say anything because their voices were really overwhelming.
"Let's eat outside with Omi's girlfriend!"
"Omi's girfriend!"
They were like birds chirping the same thing to each other.
"Kiyoomi, you have such energetic teammates," you commented.
You heard him groan, and he looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but there.
"Aren't we going to follow them? They said we're going to eat."
"Are you sure you want to eat with them?"
You tapped his arm lightly. "C'mon, don't be so dejected and gloomy. I think they'll be fun."
It wouldn't be fun. Ever since you came back, he seemed to never have alone time with you.
"Alright, if that's what you want."
Bokuto and Hinata dragged Atsumu with them while you two follow them. They planned on just walking, and you just went along with them. They were really fun.
"Onigiri restaurant?" you muttered.
"It's Osamu's, Atsumu's twin."
"Oh, gray haired guy!"
Bokuto opened it, and Osamu quickly recognized them just by their voices.
"Did Atsumu lose a bet with you all again?"
Atsumu always says he'll treat them whenever he loses in some trivial games they play when after training.
"No," Hinata answered, "we're with Kiyoomi's girlfriend."
"You have someone else with you?"
Because they were all tall and muscled guys, they covered you who were behind them.
"Hi," you said when they stepped aside, "Osamu-san, I'm looking forward to tasting your onigiris."
"Sakura-san? You're back with Kiyoomi?"
"They broke up before?" Hinata and Bokuto asked.
"That's sad," Hinata added.
Osamu noticed that Kiyoomi was frowning so he looked for a way to drive them away.
"Well, you're holding up the line, go find a table."
You were whisked away by Bokuto immediately.
Kiyoomi was left with Osamu. He felt more gloomy than before.
"I didn't think you'd be back again with her."
"I'm not. They never even give me time to talk."
Osamu chuckled, "They're just excited."
"They're always excited."
"Did she not say anything?"
He shook his head, "Doesn't matter anyway. We'll be officially be back soon."
The other man shivered, "You sound so obsessive."
"Why does everyone say that? I'm confident, that's it."
