"How are you so good at this?!" Jake sighed. Hailey only snickered and replied: "Practice, Jake. Practice". She heard the peach-haired boy groan in frustration. "What I don't get is, Why can the queen move anywhere, but the king is completely useless! The pawns aren't even doing a good job in protecting their king".

"You mean, you aren't doing a good job protecting your king" Hailey informed. "And also, if there's a king and queen, why is there no prince or princess?". Hailey rolled her eyes in response. "Are you gonna continue complaining, or actually move your king away?" 

"How bossy" Jake mumbled as he moved the white king a square backwards. Meanwhile, Hailey only needed to move her black King forward to say: "Check". Now Jake was starting to fret. "Uh.. I-i don't, agh! Whatever, just take the win, princess," Jake said sternly. Hailey stared at him with black, pity eyes. "Jake.. we don't need to play this if you don't want to. I know you wanted to play Minecraft earlier, so.. let's do that"

Jake shifted his eyes to the teal-haired girl, only to bring them down again. "Okay, just.. let me move first" he muttered. Hailey eyed his shaky hand, unable to decide which square to land on. The two bandmates' eyes landed on each other before Jake smugly returned a grin and said: "Checkmate", scooting his King to push the other, officially making him the winner. Hailey's face beamed. "Good job Jake! Not bad for your first time"

"Eh, it's okay. But I'll probably never play it again" Jake replied, causing the two to share a laugh. "Now, you ready to go kill the Ender Dragon?" he asked. "The what now-?" Hailey asked, confused. Making Jake chuckle softly. "You're not gonna last for a day" he smirked. "Oh, so you're the Minecraft Pro now is it?" Hailey playfully teased. "No, but a better player than you" Jake grinned. "Whatever.. come on, my computer's upstairs. You better warn me when that green exploding creepo comes by"

"Creeper" Jake corrected. "Creepo, Creeper, same thing," said Hailey. On the stairs, she noticed a wicked smile on his face. Realizing, she interrupted; "Don't even think of pranking me in the game". Sighing, Jake spun around and said, "How could I not prank you? You're a noob. And as my duty as a devoted player of Minecraft, I should prank you the first second you enter the server". Hailey only rolled her eyes. "You're such a dork". There was a pause before Jake found his own comeback. "I'll take that as a compliment" he winked. "What the hell, Jake?!"
