"Temaurice!" Trinity shouted making her voice echo throughout the spacious home that she shared, going up the staircase briefly pausing looking at the huge photo of her and her boyfriend of 3 years that hung on a wall, she continued to walk upstairs before stopping at the door that her boyfriend was in, busting open the door looking at him with a deep mug on her face.

"Wassup baby momma?" Tee turned back looking at his girlfriend that was a good 9 months pregnant as she stood there with a mug on her face, he paused his game giving her his full attention before she took a deep breath placing her hand on her growing belly.

"You didn't hear me calling you? Your mom has called you at least 3 times and you haven't answered to not one phone call." She spoke making him raise his eyebrow before pulling out his phone that was on DND seeing his mother.

He was so indulged in his gaming he didn't even pay attention.

"Damn, hold on ma." He spoke before unlocking his phone using his face ID, before returning his mom's phone calls.

Trinity shook her head before walking out of the gaming room going into the two's shared master bedroom that was two doors over. She sat down on the huge California king sized bed before beginning to take off her pink and white Nike dunks that Tee had gifted her, before she heard him shout making her freeze looking at the door screwing up her face.

She quickly got up waddling out of the bedroom going back into the game room seeing Tee on his knees in full blown tears.

"B-Baby what- what happened?" She questioned walking into the room fully over to him, making him wrap his arms around her continuing to cry. Her heart broke at the sight, and she didn't know what to do.

"H-He's gone mama, he gone." He spoke making her freeze up as tears began to pool her eyes, Tee was speaking about his favorite big cousin June, who was also Trinity's favorite cousin in-law.

Trinity and June, whose real name was Brandon but was always called June clicked instantly when Tee and Trinity got together, the two we're literally dumb and dumber when they got around one another so this one definitely hurt her. But her pain wasn't topping how Tee felt. When Tee's family was down and didn't have nothing, June always stuck next to Tee. They we're damn near brothers. They would fall out and be right back cool in a snap of a finger. That's always been his right-hand man.

June had been into a lot of trouble back in his old hood, he went back to visit some of his people he needed to catch up with which resulted into him getting robbed and then shot 5 times, he was in a coma for a good 3 weeks and Tee never left his side all up until 4 days ago. So, Trinity knew who he was talking about instantly.

Trinity let her tears fall before raking her white nails over Tee's braids as he clanged onto her not wanting to let go.

"I-I am so sorry baby, come on you gotta g-get up handsome." She spoke softly to him using all of her strength to help him stand to his feet, once he stood up straight the two embraced each other into a hug just crying, asking God why.

It was heart breaking and something neither of the two could handle, especially Trinity considering she was now in her 3rd trimester.

The couple we're now at the hospital, Tee sitting in a chair staring blank at a wall and Trinity sitting on his lap rubbing Tee's head that was on her breast trying to control her tears since she didn't want to trigger Tee but in reality, all she wanted to do WAS cry.

After about 4 breakdowns, helping Tee get dressed, down the steps and out of the house to the car. She sped to the nearby hospital where Tee's immediate family we're which was simply his mom, grandma, his aunt and his cousins that we're June's family along with June's father.

Trinity kissed his forehead as he rubbed her belly feeling their daughter kicking at his touch making him melt into the love of his life's embrace, she looked over seeing June's mom sobbing in her chair as her children consoled her while pouring their own tears before quickly looking away feeling her waterworks begin.

She couldn't even imagine, with her becoming a first-time mother soon. The thought of ever losing her child scared the life out of her. She didn't want to even think about it at all.

"Tee, baby. It's your turn to see him... you don't have to go see him if you don't want-" Tee looked up at his mother shaking his head.

"Nah mama, Imma go." He spoke making his mother nod her head stepping back some, Trinity stood up taking a deep breath placing her belly on her stomach. Tee looked at her concerned for a moment before just nodding her head, grabbing his hand that was held out for her.

The two stood in front of the room door before Tee took a deep breath opening it stepping inside with his girlfriend immediately bawling at the sight of his now deceased cousin. Trinity closed the door before walking closely to the body before examining his pale face before bursting into tears of her own not being able to hold them in anymore.

"Oh, June." She spoke in between tears looking down at him as Tee just pulled her into him, crying himself.

The two just stood there crying for 5 minutes not wanting to walk away before they pulled themselves together, they looked at him last time before Tee just put his hand on his cousin's shoulder, and Trinity left a kiss on his forehead.

The two walked out with bloodshot, red eyes closing the door behind them walking back out of the room going back down the hall. The two stopped in their tracks seeing Tee's ex-girlfriend Marie sitting next to one of his cousins.

Trinity sighed knowing this was about to take a turn for the worse, Tee let go of his girlfriend's hand for a brief second to hug his aunt and his cousin's. Meanwhile Marie just stared Trinity down, if Trinity wasn't a changed person AND pregnant on top of that, she would've popped the girl, but she just kept her cool before walking over to Tee's cousin Jace hugging telling him how sorry she was and saying her goodbyes, along with his little sister Marionna.

"I see her staring, just ignore her raggedy ass. I don't know why she's here anyways or who even called her up here-" Jace cut his little sister off nodding towards the two's other brother Marion who was Marionna's twin brother before speaking.

"Marion's hoe ass girlfriend, y'all know they friends." Trinity just chuckled nodding as Marionna rubbed her belly, before she looked over seeing Tee talking to his mother and cousin rubbing his hand over his durag.

She felt for her baby so bad and wanted to take all of his pain away. She then looked over at Marie scrunching up her face seeing her walking towards Tee trying to give him a hug with a fake ugly ass pout on her face, before he walked right past her making her face drop.

Jace turned his head, trying to hold in his laughter as Tee walked over hugging his two cousins before pulling his girlfriend towards him needing to touch her.

His mother and aunt had left to go talk to the coroner on the 5th floor leaving them all there.

"We bouta head out man, my head hurt bad as fuck. Y'all need anything?" Tee questioned making the two shake their heads before Marionna spoke.

"No but can I come and stay the night at y'all house? Marion's loudmouth whore is staying the night, and I am not tryna deal with her presence at all right now." She spoke making Trinity laugh before Tee shook his head chuckling nodding his head.

"Yeah, we gon take you to get yo shit. Jace you good man?" Tee spoke to his cousin who looked daze before he looked up nodding his head.

"Yeah, Imma wait for momma then go home." He spoke making Tee nod his head hugging him.

"Alright bro, we bouta go. I love you man, if you need anything you know to not hesitate to call." He spoke making Jace nod his head pulling away thanking his older cousin.

"Aight, come on Moona, let's go ma ma." Tee spoke calling his cousin by her nickname wrapping his arm around his cousin's shoulder, and after his girlfriend grabbing Trinity's hand holding it tightly after she hugged Jace still ignoring his ex-girlfriend's presence not even in the mood to question why she was here and who called her up here.

"Aight Marion, I'll see you don't forget what I said either." He spoke to his cousin as Trinity hugged him briefly making him nod his head hugging Trinity back before kissing her temple.

Tee's family loved the fuck out of Trinity and there was no denying it, she clicked with everyone perfectly and it was peaceful. Always good vibes.

"Bye Tee-" He looked over at his ex with a deep mug on his face.

"Stop fucking talking to me bro, this ain' even yo family. Don't know why the fuck you even here." He spoke with venom laced in his voice before Trinity pulled his hand shaking her head speaking lowly.

"Come on baby, not now." She spoke making him take a deep breath walking away with his cousin and girlfriend before Marionna stopped in her tracks hearing Marie speak.

"So, this bitch fam-" Marionna laughed loudly before looking at her.

"Marie, you know I'll mop this nasty ass hospital floor wit yo ass. Keep it REAL cute." She spoke making Marion's girlfriend Destiny speak up.

"You not bouta talk to her like that." She spoke rolling her eyes making Trinity speak up quickly.

"Marion get your lap dog." She spoke making Marie look at her mugging along with Destiny.

"Bitch who a lap dog? Pregnant or not I'll kill you and that baby-" Without getting another word out Marionna decked Marie in her mouth twice making Destiny quickly stand up making Jace step up.

"Put yo hands on my sister and watch how fast these hands move. Marion get yo bitch." Jace spoke with a mug on his face making Marion sigh looking at Destiny who held Marie back.

"Y'all weird as fuck bro, y'all got it foreal!" Marie spoke walking out of the waiting room with Destiny covering her mouth as people around just watched what was going on.

"Man, it's time to fucking go." Tee spoke making Trinity sigh nodding as Jace and Marionna just laughed walking out towards the elevator before Trinity stopped walking hissing putting her hand on her stomach.

"What's wrong baby?" He asked as they looked at her confused.

"Sorry, nothing I just felt-" She stopped talking looking down as her water broke soaking her grey sweatpants making Jace look over to where the nurses we're standing.

"Aye, we need help over here! My cousins water broke!" He spoke as Trinity gripped onto Tee's shirt feeling a strong contraction.

Death and birth on the same day was outrageous.

Marionna called her mother and aunt as Tee was helping his girlfriend sit in the wheelchair that a nurse had brought over for Trinity.

Everything was happening so fast.

It was now 10 pm and Trinity had been in labor for 17 hours, completely over it having contraction after contraction. Jace and Marionna went to the two's house the get their baby cousins things to bring to the hospital and thankfully Tee and Trinity had a bag of their clothes and other things they needed in case of emergency.

Tee's mother and aunt had stayed for a while to comfort Trinity who was still only 5 cm dilated, but the two eventually left since visiting hours we're nearly over and Trinity had her mother and Tee stay.

Trinity was now bouncing on a yoga ball with her eyes closed hooked up to an IV machine as she laid her head on Tee's legs while he rubbed her back with one hand, holding his phone in his other hand with his cousins that was getting snacks for Trinity and Tee.

"Do y'all wanttt- Jace put those the fuck down dang!" Marionna shouted looking over at her brother who had a cinnamon pop-tart in his mouth holding at least 5 packs of fruit snacks while Marionna was trying to get everything.

"Why are you yelling?" Jace questioned putting the packs in the bag that was on the counter.

"What y'all doin man? Come on." Tee spoke chuckling making Trinity lift her head up looking at the phone.

"Can y'all grab two of my body armor's please?" She spoke making Marionna nod her head doing as so putting them in the bag.

"Okay, we have everything. We'll be there soon." Marionna spoke holding her phone grabbing the bag while her and Jace walked to the front door to leave.

She put in the security code for the alarm before her and Jace walked out locking the door behind them.

"Alright, be safe we love y'all." He spoke before they said it back getting into Jace's car.

He hung up the phone and looked at Trinity who grabbed onto his hoodie taking deep breaths moving in a circular motion on the ball.

"Ouuuu, mm." She moaned out in pain making Tee take her face into both of his large hands looking at her.

"That's it baby, keep breathing." He spoke softly placing his hand on her stomach rubbing it.

"F-Fuck, it hurts so bad handsomeee." She whined putting her face in his chest taking deep breaths as tears ran down her face feeling strong contractions.

"I know mama, it's almost over I promise." He spoke comforting her for another 5 minutes whispering sweet things in her ear as her contraction went away.

Marionna and Jace got back to the hospital not even 10 minutes later, Trinity's mother also came to the hospital bearing small gifts and comforting her daughter before talking to Tee for a little while.

The news broke out about Tee's cousin passing away and Tee and Trinity's phone we're blowing up with condolences, remorse and everything else making Tee power off their phones.

Trinity was now 10 cm dilated and ready to push, Tee stood beside her holding one of her legs open while her mother held the other one.

"Okay momma, on the count of 3 I need you to give me a biggg push, okay?" Trinity nodded her head holding Tee's hand feeling nervousness wash over her. He leaned down kissing her forehead before whispering into her ear.

"It's gonna be okay baby, we're right here." Tee knew she was beyond scared because Trinity always speaks about how unfair it is how black women get treated when they give birth, some even resulting into death and that was something that she was beyond afraid of all of it.

Trinity nodded her head taking a deep breath before pushing with all of her might, after 4 long pushes their beautiful baby girl Tiara Oma Higgins made her debut making the couple new parents to a beautiful chocolate baby girl.

"I can tell we got a Velcro baby on our hands already." Trinity spoke eating her spicy Italian sub that she had been waiting a long 9 months to eat that her mother had gotten her meanwhile Tee was slowly walking around the spacious room gushing over his fresh newborn daughter.

"A what?" He looked back at his girlfriend who looked drained with her braids pulled up in a bun wiping her mouth with a napkin.

"A Velcro baby, it's a baby that's super clingy." She spoke giggling smiling at her man holding their daughter displaying her braces.

"I still don't know what the hell that is, but how you feeling ma? you good?" He asked making her shrug before nodding her head.

"I feel okay, just drained. I kind of still wanted a home birth but as long as our baby girl is healthy and so am I, I'm okay." She spoke making him nod as he sat in the chair fixing the pink hat on his daughter's head before kissing her forehead.

"How are you feeling honey? I know it's a dumb question, but I just want to know." She questioned making him sigh before looking at her.

"I'm fucked up ma... I really am. That was like the brother I never had and just like that he's gone. All I can do is let every memory play in my head right now. But I'm happy that I got our baby girl with us and you by my side mama." He spoke making her smile softly before nodding her head understandingly.

"I understand baby, you'll forever have me in your corner no matter what." She spoke with a smile on her face putting her trash into the bag before setting it on the table next to the bed as Tee stood up sitting on the bed carefully laying back not to wake his daughter up or hurt Trinity. She laid her head on his shoulder looking at their daughter feeling complete.

She silently thanked God and kissed Tee's lips before he kissed her forehead leaning his head back closing his eyes as Trinity just admired their daughter, she had definitely taken after her father's features. The only thing she had of her mother's was her button nose butt everything else as far as her mouth, eyes and ears had taken from her father and she was pretty much both of their colors since they we're back dark skinned. 

She powered back on her phone moments later notifying both of their families that Tiara was born and they we're fine not bothering to read all of the condolence messages at the moment since she was still trying to wrap her head around June's death herself but nonetheless, she felt complete that she now had her little family.
