GIRL PROBLEMS, chapter twenty nine 

❝he was my person❞

When Odette arrived back to her normal hall she wasn't surprised when half of Enid's plushie collection was gone and Wednesday was sat in her chair alone. 

"Eli's dead" Odette announced to the girl who looked behind her "the monster got him I suspect" she said with no emotion "Eli is dead" she said again "Eli is dead and I have a dislocated shoulder and you pushed Enid out of our room" she summarised 

"she decided to leave"

"because you tricked her! ── you tricked us!" Odette exclaimed "I have tried so hard to be your friend Wednesday but you make it so difficult, you used me to get to Xavier and you used Enid last night to get to that god forbidden house"

"Odette-"

"I'm not finished" she cut her off "We stood up for you on and on again, I even forgave you when you asked Xavier to the dance, you never even said sorry you just said you needed to for your investigation which you're probably going to continue on when I leave this room, because you never cared Wednesday, you never cared" Odette repeated.

She knew she was being harsh, but she had anger built up within the night. "I wish you luck on your investigation Wednesday but not because we're friends because we're not, not to you especially. I wish you luck because I want Eli's killer to go to hell" Odette had tears in her eyes as she spoke of Eli, Wednesday looked behind her at the music box pictures. 

"Are you going to pack your stuff like Enid?" she asked "no." Odette replied "I can't be bothered packing all of my stuff honestly" she shrugged with tears daring to fall down her face.

"Then here" Wednesday said before passing the girl the music box "Wednesday I swear to god you are on your own in this case-" "look at the bottom hatch" she said before Odette rolled her eyes and snatched the music box out of her hands.

When she opened the hatch she was met with photos, photos of Wednesday and photos of Odette, although they weren't recent. "That's the night I was rescued" Odette revealed before her breaths became sharp. 

The night of the murders.

The night she lost control.

The night she had been trying to forget. 

And now there was living proof.

"I think they want you too" Wednesday said before standing up strait "so if you come with me to the crackstone house then-"

"are you kidding me" Odette said, stepping away from the girl "you don't get it" she seethed "Eli died and all you care about is going to that house, my best friend died Wednesday!" she yelled and electric sparks came out her fingertips. 

"leave me out of this Wednesday" she told her before walking away more "leave me out of this and count me out on anymore 'girl trips'" she said  before walking out of the room. 

She didn't care that she was being petty and she didn't plan on walking back to apologise. 

She was blinded by the sadness and fear of what was to come ─ a life without Eli Galpin. 

She looked behind her, hoping that Wednesday would be there but she wasn't.

Wednesday Addams didn't know how to be a good friend even if she tried. 

Wiping her face Odette ran out of the Ophelia Hall building before going to Georgia's hall on the other side of the quad. 

The door was open and she let herself in. "Odie?" Georgia asked before standing up for the girl "Is this about the mayor?" she asked and Odette crossed her head "Eli- Eli he- he- he died!" she cried before crashing into the girls arms. 

"We don't have to go to the mayors funeral" Georgia soothed her as she brushed her fingers through Odettes tangled hair "I want to hold a funeral for Eli" she coughed up 

"His father won't" 

"We can do that" Georgia nodded before sitting Odette on the bed "you gotta get ready first because-" "I can't go to my dorm" Odette cried "I think I just ended my friendship with Wednesday, I snapped it at her and now she probably has me on her kill list"

"I'm sure she doesn't have a kill-"

"number one is the australian prime minister" 

"oh"

"yeah" Odette sniffed before rolling over "have a shower here then, it will be quick and I'll let you borrow some clothes" Georgia offered and Odette nodded, her body still laid into the bed. 

The shower didn't feel as refreshing as a shower should be and it didn't make her feel cleaner. It made her feel like she was washing off whatever was eft of him.

of Eli. 

Odette and Georgia made their way to the woods with black umbrella's and Odette brang in a photo frame that she grabbed from Ophelia hall whilst all the others made their way to the mayors funeral. 

The picture was the complete opposite as to what she was feeling. They were happy. It was taken when they first started dating, they had gotten ice cream and Eli had gotten ice cream on his nose.

That's when she figured out he was her person.

Not the love of her life but her person.

A smile was brought to her lips as she relived the memory.

"god I should've known he was gay when he was so adamant on getting rainbow instead of cookie dough" Odette laughed to herself before she placed it on a pile of dirt. 

She chose this specific spot because they would always meet here when she snuck him into the school. 

"He was so funny and honest" Georgia smiled before laying down a flower next to the frame "god he was so brutally honest" Odette smiled.

Rustles where heard as the two girls started to hear students talking in the distance. "funeral must be over" Georgia sighed before Odette linked their arms together. 

"so is this one"

no Xavier but I really want to explore the reactions of Eli's death so the reactions of Tyler being the killer and Xavier being arrested are huge 

is this hell, because I'm starting to feel like it's hell

also......does anyone here watch greys anatomy because I got a book in the making

for someone called Jackson Avery...

but it's kind of like an age gap story where she's his intern and they both know they shouldn't blah blah blah drama love sex death

I think it would be fun

I'm also unpublishing my harry book and my steve book and probably my Andrew Garfield peter parker book cause like I never upload them so what's the point
