EVER SINCE NICK AND ELISA HAVE BEEN TOGETHER, THEY COULDN'T BE ANY MORE HAPPIER. Their relationship is going perfectly; the two of them were clearly meant to be, having known each other's strengths and weaknesses, their likes and dislikes, and their love for each other was clearly strong. After being together for a while and with Elisa's birthday coming up, Nick had a surprise for her, but first, he wanted to ask for their blessing since he knows that family is the world to Elisa.

Nick smiled when he heard the call get answered and the sound of Elisa's mother was heard from the other side of the call. "Hi, Mrs Evans." He said politely, even though him and his family have practically grew up with the Evans — who became family to them, he was still polite since that's who he was.

"Nick, sweetie, there's no need to be formal. Rosalina is fine." She told him with a kind voice. "You're family, dear."

Nick smiled. "Okay, is it okay if I ask you and Mr. Evans— Ricky something?"

"Of course, dear. I'll get Ricky over here. Is it about Elisa?" Rosalina asked.

"Yeah, it's a surprise for her since her birthday is coming up." Nick informed.

Once he had both Rosalina and Ricky on the phone, he made his move to ask for their blessing and of course, he got it.

"Of course, you have our blessing, sweetie." Rosalina told him sweetly on the phone.

"You're the only one I trust with my little girl, Nick. You have my blessing," Ricky told him with a smile — despite being on a phone call.

Nick smiled and after talking with them for a while, he went to get her siblings' blessing which was easy. Luke and Emma were instantly glad to hear this, immediately giving him the news.

On the night of September 20, after celebrating Elisa's birthday, the couple were now at Nick's concert where he had something special planned for her. All he had to do was tell her. Elisa stood in the VIP section near the stage with a soft smile on her face and cheered and clapped alongside the crowd when her boyfriend got onto the stage, signaling that it was starting and music could be heard.

I don't like the way he's looking at you

Am I crazy? Have I lost ya?

The crowd cheered and clapped as Nick kept going. Elisa smiled as she cheered for her boyfriend and clapped, not having the slightest idea of what he was planning.

I'm getting red in the face

I still get jealous

Elisa felt her cheeks turned pink a bit as her green eyes met with his. With her cheeks pink, she smiled shyly and cheered for her boyfriend while the crowd was starting to sing along.

Elisa smiled and clapped, cheering as loud as she could for her boyfriend.

Her warm, soft green eyes met Nick's eyes  and for that second, it felt like it was just the two of them in the world.

The crowd cheered and clapped as Nick came to an end, Elisa cheered and clapped as loud as she could for her boyfriend. "Thank you, everybody! Now, as you all know, there's someone very special here tonight and you all may know her." Nick announced.

Elisa felt her cheeks turned a bright shade of pink when her green eyes met his and the crowd instantly cheered, everyone knew about the them being a couple.

"Babe, come on up here," Nick said.

The crowd couldn't help but cheer and squeal as Elisa went onto the stage, slightly blushing and her boyfriend brought her over as they both stood in the middle of the stage. Nick met her soft, warm green eyes and staring into them, he knew it was time to pop the question.

"Eli, we've been in each other's lives and pretty much know everything about each other since we were kids. And since the day you came into my life, I've always been in love with you and I always will. You were there every step of the way through the bad and the good with me and I wanna do the same for you." Nick told her, stuck in a gaze of staring into her green eyes.

Elisa couldn't help but blush as she listened to him. She was always going to be there for him cause she loved him with all her heart and she always will.

"You're so beautiful, Eli, and I am crazy in love with you, and I want to spend my the rest of my life with you. You're the star that twinkles at night, the breeze that makes things feel right. You're the sunshine that drives the blues away, the beat that makes my heart beat everyday... Elisa Evans, will you marry me?" Nick asked, causing the crowd to gasp and squeal.

Elisa felt tears of happiness filled her green eyes and her heart started beating in her chest. She could hear the crowd telling her to say yes as she nods her head yes.

"Yes. Yes, yes, yes!" Elisa said, letting Nick to slide the beautiful engagement onto her finger.

The crowd then squealed and cheered as loud as they could, clapping as hard as they can before they all started chanting for them to kiss. With her cheeks slightly pink, her green eyes met Nick's eyes as the now engaged couple leaned in and kissed, causing the crowd to cheer as loud as they can.

The engaged couple could hear the sound of pictures being taken and they both knew that this was gonna be all over the news, but they didn't care about that. Because in this moment, they were happy.

Here it is! Nick and Elisa are now engaged! Like I say, the last chapter of this prequel will be Nick's proposal to Elisa so sadly, this is the last chapter.
