"Wanna come?"

Suna looked excited. His eyes were twinkling in the sunshine.
"Wait, so there's a party?" you asked.

Suna nodded.
"Sorry, I told you in such short notice. I tried to tell you at school today, but I guess I forgot."

"Don't worry about it, so it's tonight?"
you asked while taking out a piece of gum from your backpack.

You and Suna were walking to the subway station, like you usually did, and today he seemed extremely excited.

"Yeah, it is. I can text you the address and stuff. We're inviting people we talk to and so I wanted to invite you." Suna explained.

You could see his cheeks turn slightly red.

"Blushing already?"

You wondered as you observed his face.
He was usually good at hiding his emotions, but today he looked like he was going to burst with excitement.

"So I'm guessing you really like parties. Judging by your expression, you look excited." you chuckled.

"Well, we don't usually have parties, because we're so busy with volleyball. It's pretty exciting when we have one." Suna said with a daydreaming expression.

He looked so happy. For the first time, you noticed his little dimples. You couldn't help but think how adorable Suna was.

"Well that's great, I'll be there." you exclaimed, giving Suna a slight smile.

"Really? I mean, uh, great. See you there!" he said rubbing the back of his neck.

He watched you board your train then quickly dashed out of the subway station.

"A party huh? I haven't been to one in a while."

- Meanwhile -

"You didn't invite too many people over, right?"
Osamu asked as he set the drinks on the table.

"No, of course not."
Atsumu said smirking.

"You invited more than ten people, didn't you?"
Osamu asked, raising one of his eyebrows.

He knew what was coming.

"Ok, ok! You got me. Sorry, it's like 20 people. It's not even that bad, and mom and dad are out of town so-"
Osamu held up his hand to interrupt Atsumu.

"Didn't expect any different from you, 'Tsumu."

"Well, at least I don't get super drunk after two shots." Atsumu teased.

"Shut up, you moron, and help me clean the damn house."

β€”β€’β€”

"Hey dad, are you working late tonight?"
you immediately asked as you entered your house.

"Well," your dad says, "I'm not sure. Why?"

"No reason, I'm just uhm-"

"have a study group with a couple friends later." you replied.

You weren't the best liar in the world, but maybe this would be enough to leave the house.

"Where, might I ask?" your dad looked even more suspicious.

"Friends house. Her name is Himari!"

Yet another lie, if he asked anymore questions you might slip up.

"Alright, be back by 10."

"Got it, thanks dad!"

Before you knew it, you and Himari were already at the house.

The windows were illuminated by different colors of flashing lights and you could hear the loud music from outside.

As you approached the door, you heard excited screams and loud laughter.

"They sure know how to party!" said Himari.

She was beaming, looked like she was excited too.

You nodded and before you could knock the door swung open.

"Oh hey, (y/n) and Himari you guys made it!" Kita exclaimed as he stumbled out the door.

"Whoa Kita, watch out!" you shouted.
He looked as though he was going to fall over. Himari grabbed him just before he hit the ground.

"Kita get it together, the party just started." Himari said, clearly annoyed.

You could smell the alcohol in Kita's breath.

"This is gonna be a long night." you chuckle.

Himari nods.
"Let's head inside. I have to see someone."

The house was crowded, people were laughing, taking pictures, chugging drinks and overall having fun.

You felt a bit out of place.

You didn't know half of the people at the party.
"Where did Himari go?"
You looked around frantically trying to spot her. But she was already lost in the crowd.

Suddenly you felt someone grab your shoulder. You jumped as you saw a random guy you had never seen before handing you a drink.

"Whoa!!!! I haven't seen you around, so who are you?"
He asked, a smirk crossed his face.

"Uh I-"
Suddenly you saw the guy get yanked backwards.

And Suna appeared behind him.

"Are you ok? I'm so sorry he's drunk out of his mind." Suna said as he shoved the guy away from you.

"Hey man, what the hell? I was just trying to get to know her!" The guy protested.

"Shut the hell up, and leave her alone." Suna snapped.

The guy shrugged and walked away.

"Parties are crazy, huh?" you asked, Suna could see you shaking uncontrollably.

"Hey, it's ok. You can breathe now. You're shaking really hard."

He looked like he felt bad.

"I'm fine. Let's just go find Osamu and the team."
you suggested, forcing a fake smile.

Suna nodded and he escorted you to the living room. He seemed to be hovering behind you like a body guard.

"You can loosen up, you know, I don't think I'll bump into any more creeps at this party."
you laughed.
"Huh, what?" suna says, "Oh yeah, I know. Just making sure you're safe." Suna replied as he playfully patted your head. You couldn't help but smile.
Suna has been nothing, but nice to you since you moved here. You hoped that one day you could let him know how much you appreciated that.

"(y/n), you made it. Didn't expect you to come." you saw Osamu leaning against a wall.
He had a red plastic cup in his hand.
He looked like he was about to pass out.

"I told you not to drink that much." Atsumu entered the room, frowning at Osamu.

"Damn it, I'm fine!" Osamu snapped.

"Chill out." Atsumu snapped back.

"Subway girl, you're here?" Atsumu looked confused.

You could see his eyes meet Suna's.

"Oh, are you guys like together?" he asked.

"WHAT?! NO I-" Suna nervously says, " I mean we're just friends, haha."
The question had made him extremely uncomfortable.

"I just bumped into him actually, but yeah we're just friends." you added, you hadn't seen Suna this tense before.

"You know, I don't think we've properly met. I'm Miya Atsumu, pleasure to meet you." Atsumu held his hand out to you, he had that same old mischievous smirk on his face.

"Does he want me to grab his hand?!"

You stared at him, waiting for him to take his hand back, but he just stood there.

You gently grabbed his hand, and he quickly yanked you out of the living room and towards the kitchen.

"HEY, WHERE ARE YOU GUYS GOING?!" Suna yelled.

"Don't worry, I won't steal her from you!" Atsumu laughed.

You stared at him in awe, not knowing what to say.

"Don't worry princess, I'm just getting you a drink."
