CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE:
PART OF MY PACK

SHE WASN'T AT ALL SURPRISED to find out the Isaac had gotten detention because of the alpha twins. So when class changes came about, a very angry and annoyed Gwen came marching through the school hallways with her jaw clenched as she searched for her boyfriend. And when she found him, he immediately met her eyes. A sigh fell from his lips as he and Scott exchanged glances one another. She didn't know that it was the twins fault, she just simply heard the word flying around school that he had beat one of the twins up.

     "Before you yell at me," Isaac started, holding up his hand just in case Gwen went to slap him. "I didn't touch Ethan." Gwen crossed her arms over her chest and cocked an eyebrow at him. "Really, I didn't! Aiden punched him and then threw Ethan to my feet so it looked like I was the one that did it."

     Gwen turned her head to look at Scott who then nodded his head. "He's telling the truth."

     Finally, the blonde sighed and nodded her head. "Alright. But if I find out you beat them up without me, I'm gonna be pissed." She chuckled when an amused smile fell on Isaac's face. "You didn't think I was mad because you supposedly kicked one of their asses, did you?"

     "Yes. Yes I did." He nodded his head. He leaned down and placed a quick kiss on her lips, making her smile widen even more. She interlaced their fingers before looking towards Scott, telling him that she would see him later before the duo walked away. She dropped Isaac off at detention, giving him a kiss on the cheek when Mr. Harris wasn't looking. She watched him enter the room before she spotted Allison in there.

After Allison had come back during the summer, the two females sat down with one another for a good hour and discussed what had taken place with Gerard, and now they were on better  terms than they had been before she left. She understood what had happened, how Gerard had manipulated her, but she also understood that Allison had been angry and upset with what had happened to her mother. And even though Isaac had yet to forgive the girl, Gwen allowed herself to just let it go.

     When she found Scott, she hooked her arm with his as the two walked down the hall. "You know, I'm glad you found someone, Gwen."

     "You're really giving me another speech about my love life?" Gwen asked with an amused smiled.

     Scott laughed. "Yes, I am. You've always been a loner, even though you were friends with Lydia, and with Stiles and I. You preferred to be alone, and then you met and Isaac and you've changed and blossomed into this amazing person. I just wanted you to know that after everything you've been put through, I'm proud of you. You're one of my best friend's, and I feel pride to know that."

      Gwen listened to his words, a smile forming as she felt tears wanting to pour. His words meant more to her than he could ever know. After everything that happened from her getting bit to the death of her father, Gwen's been through a lot. And her friends saved her from falling into the dark hole that had been so close to her grasp. She looked towards Scott and she nodded her head, her voice soft as she spoke. "You have no idea how much that means to me, Scotty. Thank you, for everything."

     "You're part of my pack, Gwen. You always have been, and you always will be."

The moment was cut short when the sound of growls filled their ears. The two stopped for a moment in order to listen, and then Allison's voice could be heard, fear lacing her words as she yelled for Isaac to stop. Scott and Gwen didn't hesitate to run towards the noise, finding a drink machine that was pushed up against the closet in which Allison and Isaac were trapped inside of. Scott and Gwen were quick to push away the machine, pulling the door open to find Isaac going to attack Allison with Allison yelling his name as she tried to keep him from hurting her.

Scott was quick to run into the closet, throwing Isaac away from Allison and sliding towards Gwen. Gwen was quick to pin Isaac down, keeping him from getting up as she desperately tried to calm him down. That's when Scott slid to her side, placing a hand around his throat before his eyes glowed yellow.

     "ISAAC!" He yelled his name and almost immediately, Isaac seemed to snap out of it. Gwen removed herself from him as he quickly scurried back wards until his back hit the wall. Gwen turned her head to look at Allison who was clutching her wrist.

     "Allison." Gwen stood up and walked over to her.

     Allison shook her head. "I'm okay. I'm fine."

     "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Isaac was quick to speak, his voice shaky.

     "I'm okay." Allison assured him.

     "I'm so sorry." His voice sounded broken. Nothing but regret on his features. Gwen turned him, a frown on her face as she carefully walked towards her boyfriend. She kneeled down beside him, reaching out to gently grab hold of his hand.

     Noticing the look on Scott's face, Allison was quick to speak once more. "It's not his fault."

     "I know." Scott answered. "I guess now we know they want to do more than just get you angry. They want to get someone hurt."

     "So are we gonna do something?" Gwen questioned, and the anger in her voice made the three look at her with slightly widened eyes. Gwen didn't get angry easily, even though she was a wolf, and because they knew what she could turn into, they knew she was a ticking time bomb, waiting to explode. She was going to end up killing someone else, and the trio knew that they couldn't let that happen.

     "Yeah." Scott nodded. "I'm gonna get them angry, really angry."

     Later that day when Isaac had rode one of their motorcycle's into the school, the twins were quick to run out of the classroom. Scott and Gwen stood there, with Isaac joining Gwen's side along with Allison. They watched as Ms. Blake quickly made her way out to find Aiden standing by the motorcycle. "You have got to be kidding me. You realize this is gonna result in a suspension." And with those words the four couldn't help but exchange amused smiles with one another before turning to look back towards a pissed off Aiden.

     As the end of the day rolled around, Gwen walked hand in hand with Isaac, Scott walking in front of them as they made their way down the step and towards the schools exit. Isaac had a smile on his face. "Yeah. I wish I could've seen their faces. They look seriously pissed?"

     Gwen chuckled as did Scott. Scott nodded, "Yeah." That's when the three came to a stop upon seeing the twins standing in front of them. "Kind of like that." They watched as the twins glanced at each other before taking off their shirts.

     "Are we about to witness a weird Magic Mike show?" Gwen whispered.

      "You watched that movie?" Isaac asked.

      Gwen gave him a weird look. "No. Did you?" He didn't answer. She watched on with horror as the twins started to combine into one giant werewolf, her eyes widening in surprise. She snapped her head towards Isaac as he threw his bag to the side, letting go of her hand as he pulled his sleeves up.

     "We can take them."

     "No, no we can't." Gwen hissed, shaking her head.

     "Are you kidding?" Scott snapped. "Isaac!" And the group of three were quick to start running down the hall. That's when Scott and Isaac were grabbed onto, causing Gwen to skid to a stop and turn around as she looked at them with wide eyes. She watched as they were quickly thrown to the ground, leaving her on one side of the twins and Scott and Isaac on the others.

     "Gwen, run!" Isaac yelled towards her. But she couldn't move, watching as Deucalion made his way towards them. But instead of paying any attention to the three teenagers, he walked towards the combined twins. Gwen watched as the twins separated and she took that as her chance to quickly make her way over to Scott and Isaac. She silently asked if they were okay to which they both nodded their heads before turning back towards the scene in front of them.

Deucalion took his walking stick, removing the red tip from it to reveal an arrow shaped blade. With a quick swing, a cut was drawn across both Aiden and Ethan's cheeks, blood dripping from it for a moment. He put the red covering back on and without a single word walked away and without any hesitancy the twins looked at the three and followed after the blond man.

     "Who the hell is that?" Isaac questioned.

     "Try what the hell did we just witness?" Gwen muttered.

     And with one word, a single name, a chill went up her spine. "Deucalion."

After she had sold her home, Gwen had been switching between staying with Lydia and Derek. And when she had gotten the call from Isaac that Derek had kicked him out, she had a feeling that she was kicked out as well. The blonde pursed her lips for a moment as she sat in her car before making her way towards the place in which Allison Argent lived. She knocked on the front door, her bag securely placed on her shoulder. When Allison opened the door, a frown immediately fell on her face.

     "Hey, Ali." Gwen whispered. "I. . . can I stay with you? Just until I can find someone that will allow a seventeen year old girl to buy her own apartment?"

     Allison only reached out her hand for Gwen to grab. "I was just about to make some hot chocolate. Do you want some?" And all Gwen could do was nod her head and offer her a grateful smile before allowing Allison to pull her into the apartment, with Gwen closing the door behind of her.
