I stood on the balcony, watching Monty train. He has been getting good at learning more about opening up to things, but from time to time, he can be shy and quiet.

"Wow, you've finally moved on, huh?"

I rolled my eyes to Jack's voice behind me. "You're an asshole."

My brother sat down beside me, looking at Monty. "You trust this kid?"

"I do, he's quite harmless. He isn't filled with hate for humans, he wants mutants to be treated as equals. The only thing we need to worry about is if he's willing to hurt people."

"Yeah, scary, don't want them phasing through walls." Jack laughs as my brows furrow. "Security cameras are everywhere, Andy got lucky he didn't get impaled by a pile."

I shake my head, ignoring my brother. "Don't worry yourself, your ego will be fine with Monty."

"And what about Andy?"

Andy and Monty haven't been rubbing off on each other. No matter how are the Frost triplets want them to be friends, they were just incompatible. Andy was dealing with his jealousy, Monty's first impression on the Strucker was unlikeable.

I simply lied, "Andy can manage."

"Well, you better figure this out. We can't take down the humans of these two can't work with each other."

"Says the one that can't stand Andy."

"Hey, I tolerate him. He just needs to shut his mouth."

Jack looks back at Monty and gets up. I ask, "Where are you going?"

"Training the newbie."

I didn't stop him. My head went to the window, seeing the Pryde run through cement blocks and walls.
All I could think is the deep dread I faced when Jack made his way in the room.

"Monty, you wanna go one-v-one?" Jack questions.

"I-I don't know, I'm supposed toβ€”β€”"

"Oh come on, this is training. I'm technically training you. It will be fun. Just get me down on the floor, then you win."

Monty used his hand to block his brown curls from getting in his view, looked up to me, and back at Jack. "Okay then. Just one round."

I groan to myself and sat down for the show. As much as I hated the idea, I couldn't help but feel just a slight enjoyment for me to see.

Immediately, Jack throws his lightning bolts at Monty, which the boy quickly dodged, taking cover by a cement block. I watched as Monty phases through it, running toward Jack, but failing. My brother hits him with a bolt, sending him to hit the cement hard on his back.

"Mother..." I whisper under my breath.

Not giving up, Monty zig zags his way to the wall, while dodging bolts. He phases out to the wall, making Jack laugh cockily.

"Now that's cheating," The older Mycroft said.

Jack turned himself around and around, Monty could come out of anywhere. Lighting charged at his fingertips, he tries to listen for any movement.
Suddenly, Pryde phased out of the ground and grabs Jack by his foot, pulling him through the floor.
He made my brother duck between levels, phasing out the win.

"You're good," admitted Jack.

With a smile, Monty held onto his hand, pulling him back up and out. As Jack made his turn to leave, Monty looked back up to me, waving to me for his win. All I could do is smile back, giving a thumbs up.

A loud scream rang in my ears, as I jolt up out of my bed. I squint in the darkness, seeing that it was only 2 am. "The hell?" I mutter to myself, hearing footsteps walk past my room.

Flicking my lamp on, I hesitated to get up and out of my bed. That was until a knock came on my door. I opened it to see Monty with a worried look.

"Hey, what's happening?" I ask him.

"I-It's Andy, I think he was attacked."

Hearing those words made my heart drop to my stomach. It felt as if I couldn't breathe, I was struck with this fear β€” indescribable fear. Immediately, I rushed to Andy's room, with Monty following behind. I pushed the triplets out of the way to see him.

"Jesus, Andy," I say, kneeling down in front of him. His nose had bled down his nose and on his shirt. He looked fine on the outside, but his eyes told me otherwise. I could see that he was frightened, not about his attack, but by something or someone else.
As my hand gently cupped his jaw, the Strucker assured, "I'm fine, I'm okay now."

"Holy crap, what happened to you?" Monty questions, standing next to the triplets.

"He was attacked," Sophie stated the obvious.

"It's best if he tells you, when he's ready," Esme tells, "For now, we need to leave him to rest."

The women guided everyone out the door, but when I stood up to go, Andy held my wrist to stop me. "I-I need to talk to you."

Looking back at the door, when the door was closing, I could see Monty looked upset by the two of us. The only thing was, I didn't feel guilty about it, there was no reason to.

Hearing the door click close, I turn to Andy, saying, "I'm all yours."

I lead him to his bathroom, having him sit down on his toilet seat as I damped the hand towel he tried to wipe his blood away.
As I start to carefully swipe under his nose, he explained, "You know how I've had weird dreams, the dreams I didn't want to talk about?"

"Yeah."

"Well... in those dreams, they're all about Lauren and me. We talk to each other, as if she was right here in front of me."

"You two are telepathically connected?"

"Y-Yeah. This dream, it was different; I could feel her start to be more powerful. She was talking about Fenris and how she has gotten more power last time we saw her. We battled and when her stupid disc thing landed on me, it felt too real, it caused me to bleed like this. Then I woke up and the triplets came in to talk to me."

Going down to his chin, I never realized how powerful Andy and Lauren were. I knew they were powerful but not at the level of telepathically connected dreams. I then began to think, if their dreams become more vivid, more realistic toward our world, they could do some damage to each other, if angry and resentful.

"You have to be more careful, if this gets out of hand. I don't want Lauren to hurt you, I don't want you to wake up and have broken ribs or a nose."

"Hey, Lauren would never hurt me, you should know that. She didn't know."

"Yes, I know," I sigh.

I could feel his eyes drift down to me, a bit scared to tell me anything. "Lux, I got a question to ask."

"Mhm?"

"If-If I were to convince someone into coming to the Inner Circle, would that be wrong?"

"Well, do they believe our dream?"

"No... But what if I could have the power to make them believe."

I got up to the sink and rinsed the towel with water, ringing it out. "You must know, if they don't believe in us, if they truly needed you to make them... they will be miserable, they would hate every second. If you are willing to deal with that, deal with a person's miserableness, then go ahead. But don't expect good results, you're digging yourself your own grave."

My hand was shaking slightly, as my hand held his chin up to look at me, and I began to wipe the blood off of his lips.
My heart beat faster and faster for him, my chest swelled up in panic, and I could already feel the blood flow in my cheeks.

"T-There... You're good to go," I whisper, setting the towel in the sink.

Andy sighed to himself as I looked back down to the sink. I knew my feelings were still there for him, but I didn't know how desperate it was. I missed Andy, I missed him a lot.

Turning myself back, my face brightened in red, seeing the Strucker with his shirt off and fiddling with the ends of his new shirt. I stared at his body, there certainly wasn't any build-up muscle and abs, but I never minded that about him. I liked his light and gently built, he didn't need it. Andy looked at me and I quickly closed my eyes, covering them with a single hand.

"Lux, you have seen me topless before," He points out, holding back his laugh.

"This is under different circumstances than that time," I argued, "I was raised to be polite, like this."

I could hear the drop of his shirt and his footsteps come to me slowly. My entire stopped when feeling his hand lower it down, having my eyes look to him.
Staring to him, he looked like a fallen angel, once good that was thrown away at the gates of heaven. Every bad thing, every bad thing he has ever said just slipped my mind, he had enchanted me without even realizing it.

As soon as his head leaned down toward me, I didn't hesitate to close our gap, having our lips collide with each other.
His hands gripped the back of my head, mine traveled to the side of his waist, pulling him closer and closer to me.

"God, I've missed you," He tells me.

"Then show me."

(skip, if you must. don't expect much, they are still 16. i will never write full scenes if they are minors!)

His smirk made my heart melt to the floor. We pulled back together, as our lips did all our talking for us. I guided my back to a wall, as Andy started to kiss my jaw and down to my neck and shoulder. I tried to hold back my moans, as it only came out to a satisfying pant.

I couldn't help but grab his face and kissed him again. There was so much passion in him, so much that I never saw when we were in a relationship. The two of us moved to his bed, we both sat on the mattress and continued on.
His hand traveled under my loose shirt, gliding over my skin and discovering my freed chest.

I could see the red in his cheeks, making me chuckle, as I kissed him around his neck. His hands drifted away from my shirt and onto my shorts. I could feel his hands pinch the band and try to slide them off me. I gave a breathless laugh, having me take them off and looking up to Andy, seeing he had done the same.

The boy says, "I don't care how many times I've said it before, you are a gorgeous person, Lux Mycroft."

"And you are a beauty too, Andy Strucker."

He laid me down as he towered above me. His hands driving under my shirt, I almost couldn't stop myself from letting a moan out, but Andy quickly kissed me hardly to shut me up.

As my hands gripped his waist, I flipped us over, having me straddle his waist and continuing to kiss him. My hands moved toward the bottom of his torso, but I didn't dare mess with the band of his boxers. I heard the boy moan as I kissed the sweet spot on his neck.

"L-Lux," He shudders, "You are a wonder."

All I could do was smile at him, letting out a restless chuckle.
"I've missed you, too."

It was morning already, I had left my room to get breakfast. That was when Monty came to my side.

"So, what happened?" He asked, "With you and Andy?"

I couldn't say what truly happened, so I lied, "Oh, we had a talk. He was still shaken from being attacked."

"I'd bet."

I grabbed a fruit cup and sat at the table with Monty, but that was when Phoebe came and pulled me away.

She says, "I assume Andy talked to you about his situation?"

"Yeah, so what?" I raised a brow.

"What did you tell him?"

"I told him what I believed, taking someone here, forcing them to believe in our cause, it's not going to be good for anyone. Lauren will be miserable."

The woman scoffed lightly, but I saw that her gears were turning, calculating me. "Are you trying to disrupt Andy's happiness?"

"Wait, whaβ€”β€”"

"This could be his only chance of getting his family back together. Having Lauren here, it would bring his parents, too. Have you no heart?"

I glared to her, "You know that's not my intention."

"Well then, you should've thought of that before redirecting Andy. You know as well as anyone, he would do anything for family," Phoebe explains.

"Why tell me this? Is it just to piss me off?"

"No. I'm telling you because if you do that again β€” get in our way β€” Reeva may see you as a traitor. You know what she does to people who don't seem all too trustworthy, right?"

I stayed silent.
There wasn't much I could say, she took the words right out of my mouth. She was correct, the triplets are the closest ones to Reeva, Reeva trusts their advice.

"Nice chat, now, have fun with Pryde. I'm sure you're doing your best at keeping him around."

Seeing the Frost walk away, I began to realize that Esme was definitely the better of the three. Sitting back in my seat, Monty looked at me, concerned. "You okay?"

"Yeah, just a bit tired is all."

❅ ❅ ❅

As Monty and I were both in heading to the training room, as it was my turn to train. The boy couldn't help but be excited. "I'm so ready to see what you can do."

"Yeah, yeah, but don't expect me to show off for you."

The two of us when our separate ways and I opened the door to the room. I could already see Monty sit in the front, anticipating to see me use my abilities, I couldn't help but smile at him. I stepped up to the middle of the room, holograms of people appeared on both of my sides.
The buster counted down: three, two, one.

Immediately, with both of my hands, ice escaped my palms, freezing every hologram in my sight. As the technology disappeared, the remote sound of a machine came behind me. I turned to see a canon-like gun shoot fire toward me.

I stood my ground and used my ice to tame the flames away from me. Feeling sweat start to drip from my forehead, I used one hand  I looked to see the machine and began to freeze it, without even touching it. The frost crawled up and in the mechanics, causing it to crash. The flame stopped the machine was put away.

I paused my training for a break but was interrupted by Monty coming with a heavy grin on his face, walking over to me.

"That was amazing!" He cheers, "What else can you do?"

"I can make it snow," I suggest, letting myself breathe.

"You can do that?!"

I smile to him, as my hand hovers over itself to have a glowing icy blue ball. I throw it up in the air, seeing it burst out and having little bits of snowflakes and snow fall.

Monty looked at it all in such wonder. "I... I've never seen snow before."

I felt good about showing him.
It felt nice to be the cause of someone experiencing something they've never experienced before. As the flakes it the ground, it turned to a little patch of snow.
Monty looked at the patches and touched it with the tips of his fingers.

His smile widened and he hollered in joy. The boy ran and hugged me, twirling me around in bliss. Setting me down, I looked over to the balcony, seeing something catch my eye. My eyes widened to see Andy watching us.

He walked away upset about me and Monty, my heart gloomed dark in guilt, even know this was completely harmless.

"What's his problem?" Monty looked to the empty balcony, seeing Andy walk away too.

"Me," I answered, honestly.
