I wish she'd be here already...

Rintarล sighed as he watched Aran talking to Osamu and Shinsuke. He stared down, looking at the simple white tee he borrowed from Osamu.

Why was he here again? He didn't even like parties...

'You see me when you see me!'

Y/n's words replayed in Rin's mind as he zoned out, staring into the distance. A small smile tugged on his lips as he shook his head in amusement.

Rintarล never thought of himself as the impatient type. He was very good at controlling his temper, even his friends questioned his tranquility from time to time... That's why he was so puzzled by the way that he found himself ardently gripping the countertop he was leaning against with his hands.

He watched Aran walk towards the living room as he held a big, un-opened, cardboard box. Rin's brows furrowed in confusion before he shot Shinsuke a questioning look, him looking just as perplexed.

Rin pushed himself away from the counter and walked up to the couch, where Aran had put down the box.

"This just got delivered..." He sighed, stepping away while waiting for Atsumu and Osamu to enter the living room so they could open up the package.

"THERE'S A PACKAGE!!" Aran yelled, loud enough so that it could be heard up the stairs.

A loud thud was heard from the first floor, followed by a moment of silence. The three friends exchanged glances before they sat down on the couch. The sound of running down the stairs was heard not long after.

Rintarล and Aran chuckled, they didn't need a detective to know which twin was making their way to them with the speed of light.

"Finally, I was starting to think that it wouldn't arrive in time!" Atsumu panted, ripping off the tape as if the love of his life was in the package.

There was a moment of silence as the friends who were sitting at the couch stared at the...remarkable object in Atsumu's hands.

"You're telling me you ordered a..."

"Disco ball?"

...

"What? You don't like it?" Atsumu asked, seeming genuinely confused by the fact his friends weren't as excited as he was.

"It's just..."

"Why?"

The big smile on Atsumu's face got replaced by a small pout. "I thought It'd be fun for the party~" He mumbled.

"There's no way you ordered a disco ball just for the party..."

All eyes averted to Osamu, who stood in the doorway, looking completely done with Atsumu's shit. But let's be honest, who wasn't?

Atsumu has always had a weird spending habit. He found it hard to save up his allowance as he always bought everything the minute he laid eyes on it. Maybe it was because he never had to work for his money... it didn't really matter. What mattered was the fact that Atsumu had bought a disco ball, which needed to be hung from the ceiling. And Osamu sure as hell wasn't gonna help his brother with that.

"Yeah...I'm out."

"Where are you going?" Atsumu asked Osamu who was making his way back up the stairs again.

"Far away from you!" Osamu answered, his voice sounding more distant now.

Atsumu let out an exhausted sigh before looking up at Aran, Shinsuke and Rintarล.

They all shook their heads in union before Atsumu spoke up again.

"Please?"

A little over an hour had passed and the place was starting to get pretty crowded. Rintarล wasn't sure how Atsumu had invited them, as he was sure that half of these people didn't even look familiar.

Rin thought about how he, Aran and Shinsuke had to help Tsumu with hanging up the disco ball. A small chuckle escaped his mouth as he recalled the memory of how Atsumu almost fell from the ladder and clinged onto it like a baby afterwards.

Rintarล sighed as he looked down at the cup in his hand, lazily watching the liquid move in a circular motion. The music and noises of people in the background sounded far-off.

A few girls had already come up to him to make a move. Fluttering with their eyelashes, accidentally bumping into him and then apologizing in a high-pitched voice, grabbing something which was, conveniently, close to him so they could brush his arm...

He was fed up...

There was only one girl who could get away with these tricks, who he'd allow to get so close to him, who he'd want to get so close to him. And that was-

"Y/n!"

Rintarล's ears perked up at the mention of Y/n's name, looking up from his cup to see her talking to her brother. He couldn't hear the rest of their conversation as all of a sudden the volume of the music and the people talking around him seemed to have increased.

"Y/n!"

Y/n playfully rolled her eyes at her brother who came up to her and her friends. "Sup." She chuckled.

"Your hair..." He pointed out. "It looks different."

Y/n's head tilted as she gave him a skeptical look.

"But it looks good, you should wear it like that more often." He smiled, playfully pushing her shoulder.

"Thanks..." She mumbled.

"Have you seen Atsumu?" Aiya asked, earning a light jab from Aimi who rolled her eyes.

'What?' Aiya gave her cousin a look, shrugging her shoulders.

Aran shook his head in amusement before he nodded his head in the direction of the backyard. "He's over there, what seems like winning in beer pong..." He trailed off.

"Tss, he's only winning cause I'm not playing..." Himara scoffed, all the other friends nodding their heads in agreement.

Himara had always been very competitive. Not only that, but she hardly ever lost a bet she made.

Aran's eyes widened and he quickly looked away after seeing Aiya pushing down her low-cut tank top and pushing up her breast to create more cleavage.

She pulled out her phone and fixed her hair by using the camera app. Himara, Aimi and Y/n exchanged looks, sighing in union.

"Alright. Girls, I'll see ya later~" She spoke as she blew an air kiss to her friends before walking away, Himara following behind, who was about to show the others what a real game of beer pong was like.

"If I win three games in a row, next week's dinner date is on me!" She winked at Y/n and Aimi, who nodded their heads in agreement and waved her goodbye.

"You better win!" Y/n yelled, Himara putting up her thumb in response.

Now it was just Aimi, Aran and Y/n left. It was silent for a little before Aran spoke up.

"Wow, Aims- Your make-up...It looks amazing!" Aran said as he now got to take a good look at the girl standing beside his sister.

"-Not that you don't look amazing without make-up of course." He quickly added as he lightly panicked.

Aimi chuckled as she waved her arms in the air. "No it's- Thank you, Aran..." She smiled at him, a light brush creeping onto her face.

OOOHHHHHHHH...

So Aran was Aimi's crush...EW?!

Y/n quickly shot an alarming look into her friend's direction. Aimi immediately knew that she knew, cause she told Aran that she was thirsty and needed a drink.

classic...

Aran nodded his head and he and Aimi were about to walk off before he stopped in his tracks.

"Y/n."

"What?"

"You're not drinking tonight." Aran said sternly.

"What? W-why are-"

"You can't hold your liquor very well. If we're being brutally honest... you can't hold your liquor at all." He awkwardly chuckled.

"I wasn't planning on drinking anyways but it irks me now that you told me not to." Y/n grumbled, her brows furrowing in annoyance.

"I know. Just looking out for you." He smiled as he pinched her cheek, Y/n immediately swatting his hand away.

"Don't do anything stupid Y/n~" He teased before walking off, Aimi giving her friend a shy smile, who nodded her head in what seemed to be approval in response.

Well, seems like it was just Y/n now...

She sighed as she looked around.

Was it her or did half of these people didn't even look familiar?

She awkwardly tugged at her tube top, her eyes scanning the area in the hope of them landing on someone she knew. She felt watched, goosebumps appearing on her skin.

Has it been this chilly all this time?

Her hands reached up to rub her arms, in hope of warming them up. She bit her lower lip, still scanning the area. She didn't see anyone she recognized.

She wasn't sure why, but she felt embarrassed. Embarrassed to be standing alone, in the middle of a party, where everyone seemed to be having someone. Her nails dug into her skin, her brows furrowing deeper.

Maybe she wasn't looking around enough. Maybe she should-

"Hey."

Y/n's eyes widened at the sound of the familiar voice which sounded from right behind her, the hairs in her neck now standing up straight.

She slowly turned around and looked up. A sheepish smile appeared on her face before she spoke up.

"Hey, Rin."
