Chris's living room was full of chaotic energy. Alba sat on the couch, scrolling through TikTok trends while Chris paced back and forth, trying to convince Scarlett to join in.
"Come on, Scar," Chris whined, holding his phone up like it was a golden ticket. "Just one dance. It's not even that hard."
Scarlett crossed her arms, her face set in mock defiance. "You've been saying that for the last 15 minutes, and I'm still not convinced."
"Y/n, back me up here," Chris said, spinning toward me dramatically. I was sitting cross-legged on the rug, already laughing at their antics.
I shrugged, grinning. "I don't know, Scar. He's surprisingly good at the dance. You might want to give him a chance."
Chris pointed at me triumphantly. "Thank you! See, even Y/n thinks I'm good."
Scarlett rolled her eyes, but I didn't miss the small smile tugging at her lips. "Fine. But if this goes viral, you owe me lunch."
Chris lit up like a kid on Christmas morning. "Deal! Now, babe, hit the music!"
Alba hit play on her phone, and the sound of some upbeat TikTok song filled the room. Chris immediately got into position, dragging Scarlett into the frame.
She hesitated for a second, but as soon as the beat dropped, she surprised all of us by nailing the choreography.
"Wait, wait, wait!" I shouted, holding up my hands. "Scarlett Johansson can actually dance?"
Scarlett smirked, flipping her hair dramatically. "What can I say? I'm full of surprises."
Chris groaned, collapsing onto the couch. "You're stealing my spotlight! This is supposed to be my TikTok."
"Maybe if you had better rhythm, you wouldn't need me to carry you," Scarlett shot back, her tone dripping with playful sarcasm.
Alba and I were practically in tears from laughing. Chris, being the dramatic one, flopped onto his back, clutching his chest. "I've been betrayed by my own friends."
I pulled out my phone, recording him as he pretended to faint. "This is going on the blooper reel."
Scarlett sat down beside him, poking his arm. "Stop being so dramatic. You'll live."
He peeked one eye open. "Only if you promise to do one more TikTok with me."
"Not a chance," she said, standing up. "Y/n can be your new dance partner."
Chris turned to me with a mischievous grin. "Alright, Y/n. Let's see what you've got."
"Last time I checked, being a part-time TikToker was my job," I joked.
. . .
Later that evening, the four of us sat in the kitchen, scrolling through the photos we'd taken throughout the day. Chris had his app open, carefully curating his Instagram carousel like it was a life-or-death decision.
"This one's definitely going in," he said, pointing to a picture of the pizza we'd made weeks ago. "Look at that sauce swirl. It's art."
Scarlett leaned over his shoulder, sipping her wine. "You're way too proud of that pizza."
"Excuse me, I am an artist," Chris said, feigning offense. "And this"โhe pointed to the pictureโ"is my masterpiece."
I rolled my eyes, laughing. "It was pretty good, but let's not get carried away."
Alba chimed in from her spot on the couch. "What about the coffee shop picture? That one's cute."
Chris clicked over to the next photo, a minimalist shot of his coffee cup and wallet. "It's giving 'deep thinker,'" he said, striking a fake pensive pose.
Scarlett snorted. "It's giving 'trying too hard.'"
"Wow," Chris said, clutching his chest. "The betrayal in this room is real."
We all laughed as he moved on to the next image. It was a candid of Alba kissing Chris in the car, the sunlight streaming through the window. Scarlett let out a low whistle. "Okay, that one's actually adorable."
Chris grinned, turning to Alba. "See? Someone appreciates my photography skills."
"You didn't even take it!" Alba said, rolling her eyes. "I did."
"Details," Chris said, waving her off.
Then, we got to the photos of Scarlett and me. One was of us laughing uncontrollably in a subway station, the other of us sprawled out by the pool, still mid-laughter.
"These are definitely going in," Chris said, grinning. "Pure comedy gold."
I leaned over, narrowing my eyes at the screen. "You're just using us for likes, aren't you?"
"Obviously," Chris said, unapologetic. "But come on, both of you here? People are going to eat it up."
Scarlett raised an eyebrow, her tone teasing. "Careful, Evans. You're starting to sound like a tabloid."
"So, Chris, what's the caption for this masterpiece?"
Chris grinned. "I'm thinking something simple. Like 'Life lately.'"
"Wow," Scarlett deadpanned. "Groundbreaking."
"Hey," Chris said, pointing a finger at her. "You'll thank me when this post gets a million likes."

Scarlett groaned, handing her phone to Alba. "See? This is why you don't let Chris have creative freedom."
"Hey," Chris said, looking offended. "The people love it."
"And by 'the people,' he means himself," I added, smirking.
Alba laughed, shaking her head. "Honestly? It's kind of cute. You two do look good together."
"Alba!" Scarlett and I said in unison, our faces heating up.
Chris leaned forward, his grin widening. "Wait, are you guys blushing? Oh, this is gold."
"Chris, I swearโ" Scarlett started, but her laughter betrayed her.
Chris tilted his head, his expression turning thoughtful. "But honestly, ... it'd be so weird if you two dated or something. I can't see it."
The room fell quiet for a second. Scarlett's smile faltered ever so slightly, and I felt a strange pang in my chest. Alba, ever the master of diversion, sipped her drink loudly before changing the subject.
"So, Chris, when's the next Dodger appreciation post going up?" she asked, her tone overly casual as she cleared her throat.
Chris shrugged, oblivious to the subtle tension lingering in the room. "Tomorrow, maybe. I'm thinking a throwback."
Scarlett and I exchanged a brief glance, both of us clearly unsettled, but neither of us saying a word. Alba shot me a knowing look, her gaze soft with understanding.
It was chaotic, embarrassing, and maybe even a little uncomfortable. But as I scrolled through the comments later that night, seeing the love and support from fans, I couldn't help but smile. Life lately really was... complicated.
A/N: Thoughts? What do you think is happening next ๐
A/N: Just want to note, if you see posts and things like that in the story, just use your imagination for who I'm talking about at that point lol can't always have images matching people (ex. Scar and Y/n by the pool lol)
