"Let's go back," Nam-ra said, smiling. "They're waiting for you."

~~~ 26 ~~~
Nam-ra led us to where the others were gathered. Originally, they welcomed us with relieved expressions.
That relief was soon turned into sadness as they realized that Min-hae wasn't with us.
"So... I take it... Min-jae's gone too," Su-hyeok said.
"Yeah," Nam-ra replied.
I let Nam-ra explain what happened. Ha-ri and Mi-jin also seemed okay with her explaining, rather than us.
Gwi-nam would put his hand on my shoulder from the side every now and then to comfort me.
Ha-ri was trying hard not to cry. Mi-jin was holding her hand, which I thought was cute.
Suddenly, Ha-ri wiped her tears and let go of Mi-jin. She removed Min-jae's bow from her shoulder and walked up to her brother.
"Do you remember how to shoot?" she asked him.
"Yeah, I think," Wu-jin replied.
"Well, try it for me. It's the last memory we'll have of him."
She extended her arm and handed Wu-jin the bow.
"Here, take some arrows," Ha-ri said, almost forgetting to hand him some.
She took off Min-jae's quiver and put some arrows in it for her brother.
He took the quiver and put it on. Wu-jin then took an arrow out and loaded the bow.
Hyo-ryung stood up from where she was sitting to watch.
Nam-ra snapped her head towards the woods and tried to walk off, Su-hyeok wanting to follow her.
"Nam-ra!" I whisper yelled to her. "Where are you going?"
They both stopped.
I was trying to be quiet as to not attract a bunch of zombies from any direction.
"There's some zombies off this way. Don't worry, Su-hyeok and I will take care of it," she responded.
"Wait!" I looked at Su-hyeok. "Su, take this knife."
I extended my hand with my knife in it.
Gwi-nam grabbed my arm and shook his head. "What if you need it?"
"I have my spare," I replied.
"Then give him your spare."
"What? Why?"
"Just do it."
"Okay..." I responded, grabbing my spare from under my belt. I handed Su-hyeok my spare knife.
"Thank you, y/n," he said, walking away.
"Be careful and come back soon, safe! Both of you. We won't move!" I yelled to them, then I turned to Gwi-nam and whispered angrily, "What was that about?!"
"It's... Sorry. It's nothing."
"Okay..."
"Don't lose your knife," he told me.
"I'm not you. I would never, I'm not you," I laughed.
"I lost my fucking eye, give me a break."
- Time Skip to when Nam-ra and Su-hyeok came back-
Gwi-nam had been by my side the entire time. He would tell me when any zombies were nearby and would let me kill them one by one.
When Nam-ra and Su-hyeok finally got back, they had some good news to tell us.
"We looked into the city. Almost everyone is a zombie now," Nam-ra started.
"But I think we can clear it. Our first priority should be food," Su-hyeok finished.
"The ones who find a convenience store always survive the longest in all those zombie movies," Mi-jin added sarcastically.
I clicked my tongue and laughed. "Pft. Well, you're not wrong. It's a good start."
On-jo had been staying quiet the whole time. I noticed that she seemed out of it, but I decided not to say anything. I was mentally tired from comforting everyone all day.
We waited about an hour to rest ourselves up. We were all exhausted.
Our group lost half of its members in just one hour.
No one was in a good mood.
Wu-jin had been practicing shooting his bow with Ha-ri. It was the only noise that was being made by anyone.
No one dared to speak.
No one wanted to attract any zombies from the woods.
It was getting darker out, so the zombies couldn't see us. As long as we were quiet, we were safe.
Nam-ra, Ha-ri, Gwi-nam, and I all swapped places every now and then to watch for zombies.
Gwi-nam worried way too much when I would go out, so he came with me.
Mi-jin worried about Ha-ri as well, but she would only take Nam-ra with her, since she couldn't get bit. Mi-jin and Ha-ri worried about each other.
Once it got fully dark, Ha-ri spoke up. "Let's leave tonight while it's dark. We can find a place to sleep. It's not too late yet, maybe 8:00 PM."
"I agree," I said.
Mi-jin gave Ha-ri a thumbs up.
"Alright," Wu-jin nodded. He looked towards Hyo-ryung, who also nodded.
Both of the halfbies agreed to leave as well, and Su-hyeok agreed on whatever Nam-ra decided to do.
On-jo didn't say anything.
"Well, On-jo? Are you going to leave or stay?" Ha-ri asked.
On-jo was the only one who wanted to stay. She was worried for Cheong-san.
She looked up at Hyo. "Don't you want to stay too? Just in case Ji-min comes back?"
"No. I hate her. I never want to see her again," Hyo-ryung answered. She teared up.
On-jo thought for a moment, and with a sad expression, she finally agreed.
Nam-ra and Su-hyeok led us in the direction they left from the first time.
After some walking and a lot of zombie killing, we made it into the city.
There were so many zombies, so many car accidents, and so many burned buildings.
"The best idea would to be to get inside a store that has thick windows, and a lot of them. If it's only one big window, it'll break too easily," Gwi-nam whispered to the group.
"I agree," I said.
We walked around the back of the city, using the forest as a shield.
None of the stores matched our requirements since they were all made the same. That is, until we found the perfect housing.
