"Y/N, Please get me one Iced Americano please"

Jeonghan says through the phone. I got up and went to the 1st floor to get him his drink... It's been a few months since I got hired here, and I really like my job. Except for the fact Mr. Yoon gets pretty mad at me when I get things wrong. But it's fine, he only wants the best for his company and he doesn't want anybody to mess up.

"One Iced Americano please," I said and gave her my card. I sat on the empty table and waited for them to finish the drink. I brought out my laptop and started organizing Mr. Yoon's schedules for the upcoming week. "Iced Americano!" The barista called out, I stood up and collected the drink, and went to the elevator. 

I arrived at the top floor and I bowed to my co-workers who were passing by. I went to Mr.Yoon's office and knocked on the door. "Come in!" He shouted through the door, and I entered. "Here's your coffee si-" I said before the worst thing happened that might just be the end of me. I froze as his paperwork absorbed the cold coffee and his expensive suit getting splashed with cold Americano.

"PARK Y/N! WHAT THE FUCK?! DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THESE PAPERS ARE?!" Mr. Yoon shouted in rage, I immediately lowered my head and apologized. "Sir I'm so sorry-" "Get out" "bu-" "I SAID GET OUT." He shouted at me with pure rage, I immediately went into my office and paced around in panic. I saw my co-workers turn their heads at me through the translucent glass in my office.

I started rehearsing apologies in my head until I gave up and bawled my eyes out. What If I get fired the next day? What if he lowers my salary?. I tucked my head between my knees and sat there in panic, anxiety, and embarrassment. I should've helped him clean up. But then I hear the door slightly open. 

"Hi, miss.. Are you ok?" I looked up and nobody was there, but I looked lower and I saw a little girl holding her little teddy bear plushie in her arms. "Mhm, everything's ok," I wiped my tears and I fixed my tone to reassure her. "But your eyes are red, Are you sure you're not crying?" She said as she walked around my desk. "It's ok, I just did a little mistake and I got in trouble," I said and the little girl dropped her teddy bear and hugged me. Her cuteness and innocence just made me cry even more but in happiness and comfort. 

"Thank you for comforting me," I said. She got me some tissues from my tissue box and wiped my tears away. She was such an angel, She looked like one too. She had silky dark hair, eyes I can see space with, and a pretty smile that looked strangely familiar. "What's your name?" I asked her, "My name's Areum. Yoon Areum" She answered and smiled. She must be related to Jeonghan I guess, probably explains why she looked really similar to him.

"Wheres your Eomma?" I asked her as I placed her on my lap. "You!" Areum said with a big smile, "ah noo~ I'm not your Eomma" I said. "So what's your name?" Areum asked me as she cupped my face. I told her my name and we started playing for a bit. 

We played for the next 2 hours. But then I saw a tall figure walk towards my office, I quickly placed Areum on the small couch and sat on my office chair. The door revealed Mr. Yoon, Areum got up and hugged him. "Appa!" "how's my little sunshine doing?~" Jeonghan carried Areum in his hands and hugged her. I slightly cringed at his baby voice and bowed when he looked at me. "Appa! What did you do to Y/N! She told me you scolded her earlier!" Areum softly slapped her dad and scolded him. 

I got surprised at what just came out of her mouth. "uhm I'm soo sorry si-" "It's ok, I'm sorry for being too harsh on you, Y/N. I re-printed the paperwork and I reordered another suit. It's all good" He said, Uhm- the paperwork is priceless but the EXPENSIVE ASS SUIT-. 

Guilt filled me and I immediately ran to my bag and brought out my wallet. "how much is the suit?" I asked, "Its 10 thous- Ack!" He said before he got interrupted by Areum slapping him. "Appa! just give it for free! You already made her cry" Areum said as she crossed her arms. "Ok Ok" Jeonghan said in defeat. 

I put back my wallet in my bag. Thank goodness Areum was here to save me from going homeless. "C'mon Areum let's go home," Jeonghan said, "but I wanna stay with Y/N" Areum went to Y/N and hugged her. I kneeled down to her level and said "I'll just see you tomorrow hm?" and squeezed her soft chubby cheeks. "Okay..." Areum said while pouting then she sadly went to Jeonghan.

I waved goodbye to Areum and bowed to Jeonghan. Today was quite the rollercoaster but I'm so glad it's finally done. I left the building and got a taxi on the way home. I got ready to go to sleep and scrolled on my phone until I fell asleep.
