"All Might?!" Izuku, Katsuki, and Miyuki exclaimed in shock.

"Work together to beat me, you three!" All Might told them. The colour drained from Miyuki's body as she looked at Izuku on her right and Katsuki on her left.

Miyuki wished now more than ever she could see the future. But did she really need to in order to get a picture of how this could end?

"And now we'll announce the teams and the teachers they'll be up against all at once!" Principal Nezu said, and Miyuki looked up.

1st Match - Sato & Kirishima vs. Cementoss
2nd Match - Asui & Tokoyami vs. Ectoplasm
3rd Match - Iida & Ojiro vs. Power Loader
4th Match - Yaoyorozu & Todoroki vs. Eraser Head
5th Match - Uraraka & Aoyama vs. Thirteen

6th Match - Ashido & Kaminari vs. Principal Nezu
7th Match - Jirou & Koda vs. Present Mic
8th Match - Shoji & Hagakure vs. Snipe
9th Match - Mineta & Sero vs. Midnight
10th Match - Midoriya, Bakugo, & Sasaki vs. All Might

"The time limit for the exam is thirty minutes!" Principal Nezu informed them. "Your objective is to either put these handcuffs on the teacher, or to have one of you escape from the stage!"

"Capture the teacher or escape..." Denki muttered thoughtfully. "It's kind of like the combat training."

"Is it really okay to run away?" Mina asked, raising her hand.

"Yup," Principal Nezu replied simply.

"But it'll be different from the combat training!" Present Mic spoke up loudly. "You'll be up against someone waaaaaay better than you!"

"Better... than us?" Kyoka asked, and Koji tried to stop her seeing as they were teamed up together. "I can't really imagine it, though..."

"Dummy! Hey, girl! Watch your mouth! You hear?!" Present Mic exclaimed in English.

"This time, your exam will be very similar to a real battle," Thirteen explained, interrupting Present Mic. "Please think of us as villains."

"Assuming you come across the enemy," Snipe spoke up, "if you think you can win a fight against them, then that's fine. However -"

"In cases where there's too big a difference in your abilities," Aizawa continued, "it would be smarter to run away and get help. Todoroki, Iida, Sasaki, Midoriya - I'm sure you four understand this well."

"I won't make that mistake again," Tenya said as he looked down at his left hand. "I will pass this test and prove that!"

"Fight and win, or run and win," Izuku summarized.

"That's right!" All Might exclaimed. "Your decision-making skills are being tested! But with these rules, you're probably thinking the only choice is to run, right? That's why we had the support course make these for us!"

"Ultra compressed weights," Miyuki mumbled, observing the object All Might was showing them. "I've heard of those before. I think I found some once."

"That's right!" All Might confirmed. "We'll put on half of our body weight. It's to give you a handicap. It's old fashioned, but it makes it harder to move and it eats up stamina!"

"All Might-sensei, you're putting on all six of them? Are you sure...?" Miyuki asked, slightly concerned as the number one hero put two around his wrists and two around his ankles.

"Oh, shoot - they're heavier than I thought," All Might said and the half-and-half girl sighed. "By the way, there was a competition to decide on the design, and we ended up using young Hatsume's."

"Hatsume-san!" Izuku and Miyuki exclaimed in recognition, the latter smiling happily.

"To allow us to consider fighting you, huh?" Katsuki asked. "You're underestimating us."

"Hey, I think you're forgetting something, Blasty..." Miyuki pointed out quickly as she sweat dropped.

All Might laughed at this, but then got a dangerous glint in his eye. "I wonder."

"All right, each team will take the practical in order on the prepared stage," Aizawa informed his class. "Sato, Kirishima, get ready."

"Yes, sir!" the two boys replied.

"Good luck Ejirou-Kun, Sato-Kun!" Miyuki said, holding up both her fists.

"Thanks, Miyuki-San!" said Ejirou and Rikido.

"Those waiting their turn can watch the exams or think of strategies as a team," Aizawa continued. "Do what you want. That's all." He joined the teachers as they went inside the building, leaving the students to deal with themselves.

"Ojiro-Kun, I would like to see what we can do with our Quirks," Tenya said, immediately turning to his teammate who looked at the Class Representative as well.

"Of course," Mashirao agreed.

"Tokoyami-Kun, let's come up with a plan," Tsuyu proposed, turning to look at her teammate.

"Very well," Fumikage agreed.

"The problem is how to strip Midnight sensei, right?" Minoru asked.

"No," Hanta responded to his teammate. "You're such a scumbag."

Miyuki watched as each of the teams walked off into the building, discussing amongst each other. She turned to her own team, which consisted of her best friend and former rival turned friend. That combination sounded promising, but in reality proved to be a strong challenge.

"Alright," Miyuki spoke up, wanting to try and ease them into some sort of rhythm first. "Izuku, Firecracker, let's discuss what's going to happen in the match against All Might - Firecracker?"

But Katsuki was already walking away from them and away from the direction of the building. Miyuki stared after him and let out a deep sigh.

"Let's just discuss amongst ourselves," Izuku said, already displaying his submission. "He'll... fit himself in somewhere..."

"It's going to be a tight squeeze," Miyuki responded, her eyes still on Katsuki as she followed Izuku towards the Monitoring room.

When they entered, Recovery Girl was present and she turned around to look at the two of them as they entered.

"Good to see you, Recovery Girl," Miyuki greeted, not forgetting her manners and bowing as usual. She noticed the monitors in front of the nurse. "You'll be watching over us? Thank you..."

"Well, it looks like I'll have a lot of work today," Chiyou responded, turning around to face the numerous screens to observe for any injuries on the field. "But you're welcome, of course."

"Oh?" Ochaco asked as she entered the monitor room as well, without her teammate surprisingly. "You're watching, too, Deku-Kun, and Yuki-Chan?"

"Yeah," Izuku replied. "We don't have many chances to see other students and teachers, fight. Besides, even if we wanted to talk about strategies..."

"I see," Ochaco said. "Well, for me it's like there's no point trying to talk to him. That's why I thought I'd try to use everyone else's fights for reference."

"Yes," Izuku muttered. "I have to pass this exam by any means possible."

"Team Sato and Kirishima, practical exam. Ready, go!"

Match 1: Sato & Kirishima vs. Cementoss:

"For this exam, we'll definitely get a higher score for capturing rather than running, right?" Ejirou asked Rikido as they ran down the road in the city structure.

"I think so," Rikido replied.

Miyuki stood in the monitor room reading their lip movements as she watched them from one of the screens. She'd gotten better at it ever since the sports festival the more time she spent around her classmates.

On the road in front of them, a wall erupted from the ground and they almost ran into it - but they quickly caught themselves and jumped back.

"Cementoss sensei moves slowly," Ejirou noted and Miyuki nodded. "Let's break through from the front and aim for a high score!"

"All right!" Rikido exclaimed as he consumed a pack of sugar which allowed him to become five times stronger for just three minutes, which was a Quirk Miyuki found intriguing.

"You came from the front after all, huh?" Cementoss commented. He pressed his hands to the ground, raising several walls around them just as Miyuki, and everyone, expected.

"Let's go, Sato!" Ejirou shouted.

"All right!" Rikido responded.

Their Quirks worked well in the sense that they were able to break through Cementoss's walls.

But they're exhausting themselves, Miyuki thought, watching as the two used their maximum strength while Cementoss had barely broken a sweat. They can't continue for so long!

"You can do it, Kirishima-Kun, Sato-Kun!" Ochaco said encouragingly.

"They won't win at this rate," Izuku pointed out and Miyuki nodded in agreement. "Kirishima-Kun and Saro-Kun's Quirks are amazing, but there's a limit to how long they can use them. On the other hand, I don't think Cementoss sensei has that. The more time passes, the more of a disadvantage Ejirou-Kun and Sato-Kun will be at."

"No way..." Ochaco trailed off.

"Aizawa-sensei took care when making these teams..." Miyuki stated thoughtfully. "Therefore, the practical is meant to test students against teachers they'd struggle with on purpose. In Kirishima-Kun and Sato-Kun's case, against Cementoss, they need to think smarter."

"That's exactly right," Chiyou agreed. "Before your own turns come around, you should think carefully about your compatability with the teacher you'll fight."

"Yes," The half-and-half girl agreed, turning back to watch her two classmates.

"This is never-ending, man!" Ejirou exclaimed in annoyance as he shattered yet another wall. "No matter how many I break, they just keep coming!"

"I'm sleepy..." Rikido said, standing completely still. "I'm tired..."

"Hey, keep trying!"

"I'm sleepy..." Rikido insisted, having stopped his fight.

Unbeknownst to both of them, walls were rising up all around them and trapping them inside.

"I'm running out of breath," Ejirou said as he looked down at his hand as his hardening wore off.

Then it happened just as Miyuki expected when the walls swallowed them up and trapped them inside.

"You're both extremely weak in a war of attrition," Cementoss pointed out. "Listen, in a fight, you have to see just how much you can push the things you're good at." He released them.

"Team Sato and Kirishima retire due to both members losing consciousness."

"I hope they're okay," Miyuki muttered as she placed a hand on her cheek.

"Oh, dear," Recovery Girl said as she hopped off her chair to go and heal the two. "It's only the first match and I already have work?"

"No way..." Ochaco breathed out, her hand covering her mouth in shock. "It was this one-sided?"

"Their Quirks were too ineffective against his," Izuku pointed out. "It's like Yuki-Chan said." He looked at his friend a she stared up at the monitors with slight concern. "She's great at analysing fights and Quirks!"

"Thanks, Izuku!" Miyuki responded, a light blush dusting her cheeks. "But that's only because I learnt so much from you!"

Match 2: Asui & Tokoyami vs. Ectoplasm:

"Team Asui and Tokoyami, practical exam. Ready, go!"

"I forgot to tell you," Ectoplasm spoke as he appeared with several clones appearing around Tsuyu and Fumikage. "We teachers are also trying to crush you with everything we have. Prepare... your determination and resolve!"

"Go, Dark Shadow!" Fumikage shouted. Dark Shadow reached out and grabbed Tsuyu. "Asui, I'm throwing you!"

Miyuki watched as the green-haired girl attached herself to a wall on the towering structure around them.

"Tokoyami-Chan!" Tsuyu wrapped her tongue around Fumikage to pull him away from Ectoplasm and his clones. "Good thing we figured this out beforehand."

"Yeah," Fumikage agreed, landing on the second level of the structure with her.

"They're good!" Ochaco cheered.

"An escape only those two could pull off!" Izuku exclaimed.

"They have excellent communication skills," Miyuki commented with a proud smile.

"That's right," Chiyou agreed. The three of them turned to look at her as she returned from treating Rikido and Kirishima. "In this society, it's a simple but important skill for heroes to have. More than being able to pull off the perfect team play with a specific sidekick, it's better to be able to achieve a certain standard with anyone."

"Um, even though this is an exam, each student is being made to deal with their weakness on purpose, right?" Izuku asked.

"That's right," Recovery Girl confirmed.

"I wonder what Tokoyami-Kun and Asui-san have to work on," he muttered and put a hand on his chin. "I can't imagine Ectoplasm-Sensei's Quirk being a bad match-up for theirs..."

"No, it is bad..." Recovery Girl told them, "for Fumikage Tokoyami."

"Why is that?" Ochaco asked.

"You'll see," Chiyou said. They looked back at the screen where they saw Fumikage and Tsuyu rushing to get away.

"You're avoiding a fight after all, huh?" Ectoplasm questioned. "However... do your best!"

Miyuki watched with intrigue as more and more clones appeared around them whenever one was defeated. Fumikage attacked the best he could with Dark Shadow, but soon he had to rely on Tsuyu. She grabbed him and took them another level higher away from Ectoplasm and his clones.

"They just keep coming," Tsuyu pointed out as they landed on the next level.

"Indeed," Fumikage replied as more clones appeared in front of them.

"I see..." Miyuki muttered. "Tokoyami-Kun's strength is in his ability to attack quickly and at a range in which he can maintain distance." She hummed, a contemplative expression on her face. "Close-range fights are a whole different story in that case."

"Tokoyami-Kun has a weakness like that...?" Ochaco asked, looking at Recovery Girl as she nodded in agreement with Miyuki's assessment.

"So that's why he's up against Ectoplasm and his clones that can appear unexpectedly..." Izuku realised. "Yuki-Chan, you're really smart!"

"On the other hand, Asui Tsuyu," Recovery Girl said. "An excellent student with no clear weaknesses. Therefore she must provide support to her ally who, as you said, is powerful and has few weaknesses. Her ability to keep calm can provide emotional support to others in a crisis."

"Emotional support..." Izuku muttered. "Now that I think about it, having Asui-san there at USJ really helped a lot..."

Miyuki glanced at Izuku curiously before returning her attention to the screen.

"That was the 28th one," Fumikage, Dark Shadow destroying yet another clone as he and Tsuyu rushed out to another part of the tower where the escape gate was.

"Tokoyami-Chan, I can see the goal..." Tsuyu said. The both of them looked down. "...and what is probably his real body."

"Good job getting past all the others," the real Ectoplasm said. "But what'll you do against this?!" He opened his mouth and smoke poured out. "Giant Bite Detention!"

Miyuki gaped at the giant clone in surprise.

"Ribbit?!" Tsuyu exclaimed in shock.

"I can't put out clones now, but as long as I can see you, this will be enough," Ectoplasm stated, capturing them with his clone. "Now, what will you do?"

"What an all-powerful Quirk," Fumikage commented.

"I'm the same!" Dark Shadow said, coming out from behind him.

"Dark Shadow, you at least need to get through the gate!" Fumikage told his Quirk.

"Got it!" Dark Shadow headed for the gate, only to be kicked away by Ectoplasm. "Bastard!"

"He can't get through against a pro head on, huh?" Fumikage muttered.

"But if he can reach, then we have a chance," Tsuyu said. "Have Dark Shadow take this, Tokoyami-Chan."

"'This?' What?" Tokoyami questioned curiously.

"Don't... look too closely," Tsuyu told him. "The teacher will notice. Besides... it's... really... gross..."

Unfortunately, Miyuki had her Eagle vision activated and she watched with a slightly scrunched nose as Tsuyu expelled the handcuffs from her stomach.

She was right... That was... really something.

"Can you keep this up until time runs out?" Ectoplasm asked as he kicked back Dark Shadow again. "What I want is the shine of heroes who can do away with adversity.

"Dark Shadow!" Fumikage shouted and Dark Shadow went back to take the handcuffs.

"Calm down, it's fine... because... Tokoyami-Chan... and Dark Shadow... are strong!" Tsuyu said. "If we became unable to move, then this would be the only way to win, so I swallowed right away. I can take things in and out of my stomach."

Dark Shadow went rushing back to Ectoplasm and swiftly dodged his attacks - while sneaking the handcuffs around the pro hero's ankles before he even noticed what was in his fist.

"I see," Ectoplasm said.

"He's been handcuffed!" Ochaco exclaimed.

"They passed!" Izuku said, looking at Miyuki and Ochaco. "Dark Shadow and Frog! They were able to use both Quirks well together!"

"Yeah!" Miyuki replied as she looked proudly at her classmates. "Their communication and cooperation was outstanding."

"Team Asui and Tokoyami have passed!"

"That was wonderfully clever," Ectoplasm said to the two students. "You deserve to be commended."

"I am delighted," Fumikage said.

"Ribbit, ribbit!"

"It was all thanks to me, right?" Dark Shadow asked, giving a thumbs up.

"It's Ojiro-Kun and Iida-Kun's Match next," Miyuki thought out loud. She smiled widely. "I can't wait!"

Match 3: Ojiro & Iida vs. Power Loader:

The third Match was located on a dirt field that suited their teacher all too well. Power Loader burrowed himself underground, creating pitfalls all over the site so that it'd be difficult for the students to pass.

"We're running out of places to stand..." Tenya pointed out. "Did Power Loader-sensei do this?!"

"What should we do, Class Rep?" Mashirao asked his teammate.

"The current topography gives our opponent an advantage. In order to keep damage to a minimum and defeat him," Tenya said, "I think going to find a hero with a Quirk advantageous against the opponent is the best choice."

"In other words, we should run, right? But..." Mashirao flicked a rock away from them and the ground crumbled when it landed. "There are pitfalls all the way to the gate. And we don't know where Power Loader-sensei will attack us from."

"Even so, we can do it!" Tenya told him. "As long as we work together..."

"All right!" Mashirao replied, convinced.

"Fusion!" Tenya exclaimed.

Miyuki's eyes widened when Mashirao jumped onto Tenya's back. It was a funny position to look at - but in order to win and pass, she supposed anything could go.

"This is really embarrassing..." Mashirao said sheepishly.

"Here we go, Ojiro-Kun!" Tenya exclaimed, activating his turbo engines. "Reciproburst!"

Tenya's speed carried them over the site without fail as his feet moved off the ground seconds before it collapsed.

"So cool..." Miyuki muttered in admiration, mentally taking note to ask Tenya for some tips later.

"I wonder," Power Loader said.

Their progress was impeded suddenly when the ground in front of them collapsed, leaving a large hole.

"Oh no!" Ochaco and Izuku exclaimed and Miyuki bit her lip.

"We're gonna fall!" Mashirao exclaimed.

"Wrap your tail around my leg!" Tenya instructed his teammate as he jumped into the air. Mashirao did so and the turbo hero spun him rapidly. "Recipro extend!"

Mashirao was sent flying towards the gate.

"What the...?" Power Loader asked as he raised his giant metal hand to stop him, but Mashirao quickly smacked it away with his tail before passing through the gate.

"Team Iida and Ojiro have passed!"

"Class Rep!" Mashirao said victoriously, looking over
