𝐣𝐚𝐱 𝐱 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫

jax is your lover, you both have been dating for... maybe about a few weeks after a month of your appearance in the digital circus. honestly, you had no problems with anyone, or the digital circus.

you're a calming person, usually, when jax has a tantrum or some attitude, you're there to calm him down, or maybe scold him. sometimes, you tease him to snap out of his sassy-ness.

caine said that our 'adventure-but-not-adventure' today is a picnic. your eyes immediately sparkled when you heard this, this meant that you could make flower crowns for everybody! especially jax.

after the announcement, caine told everybody to get ready in 10 minutes. they all retreated to their quarters, leaving you with jax. you turn to him with a big grin, all giddy.

"jax! can you believe it? we're having our first official date!" you squeal, holding your cheeks. he chuckled, "huh, i didn't say anything about a date." he says, teasing you.

you immediately frown, "finee~ it's just a normal picnic then. you won't be getting any hugs or kisses from me." you tease back, shrugging your shoulders. he widens his eyes, "fine. it's our official date, sweetheart. plus, i was just joking, jeez..." he playfully rolls his eyes, smirking.

you hum, "mhm... okay~" you say, leaning closer to him. suddenly, caine said to go back to the main area, which means... it's time!! your expression shifts from neutral, to excitement.

when everybody arrived at the main area, you patiently wait for caine to teleport everybody. "OOOOOOKAY! EVERYBODY IS HERE, SO WE SHALL GO NOW!" he exclaimed, snapping his fingers.

you all got teleported into the void. caine looks around, "OOPS. WRONG ONE." he nervously said, snapping his fingers once again. now this time, you all got teleported into a cute little hill, it even had a sakura tree!

you glance at the surroundings, your eyes sparkle, "it's all so pretty..." you admired the tree, and the falling petals. there were a pile of petals near the trunk as well as lots of flowers, so you immediately go over there.

"EEEEE! I'm gonna make flower crowns!" you squeal, getting to work. "okay, babe. ill set up the.. yeah. picnic." you heard him say, which made you chuckle.

you were so focused on making the flower crowns, taking the flowers and the petals. you made one for yourself, putting it over yourself. you always carry a mirror on you, so you quickly take it out, looking yourself.

you softly smile, before putting it down, stuffing it in your pocket. jax then finished setting up the picnic. he turns to you, sitting beside you. his gaze lands on the flower crown on your head, then to your face. "you look so pretty like a flower, y/n" your name rolls off his tongue, making you blush a little.

"aww.. thank you baby!" you coo at him, kissing his cheek, making him smile. you quickly made a flower crown for him, putting it over his head. "you look so cute with it, jax!" you say, scooting closer to him.

he chuckled, "heh, of course i do." he sassily said, smirking, you chuckle at this. he then grabs your waist, putting you against himself. he kept his arms around you, kissing your head, then resting his on yours.

he watched you make flower crowns for everybody, every squeal you make, and especially everytime you smile. you sighed, finally finishing up the last piece.

"finally, im done!" you turn your head to jax, "babe, can i give these to the others? i promise ill be back..." you plead, your eyes sparkling. he softly smiles at this, "of course, sweetheart." he lets go of you. you quickly run to the others, showing them the flower crowns.

jax was admiring your happy self, oh how he wished he could've saw more of that smile, all those hugs, kisses, cuddling, teasing, and those i love you's...

he wished he could've done more of those for you.

before you disappeared.

everybody tried to look for you, but you just suddenly disappeared out of thin air. jax was devastated, he couldn't believe he wasn't able to protect you, watch over you, he cried in his room all day, tears pouring out his eyes.

he had never felt like this in the circus, he tried to believe you were safe, but he couldn't. he tried so many times, trying to forget about the moments you shared just so he could stop crying, but he couldn't.

every single moment with you, would always pop up in his head, making him unfocused with his day. everybody was concerned for him, he even stopped joining some of the adventures.

there wasn't anymore pranks, teasing, jokes, from jax ever since that incident with you. he lost a part of himself. however, everyone tried to talk to him, but he just ignored contact with them, distancing himself.

he knew to himself he would abstract if he didn't stop this madness, but can't let go of you, just yet. all those memories need to go remembered. he loves you, and you do too.
