"AHH,"Christina groans in pain, she place her hands on her stomach in attempt to hold the pain.
"Contractions!" She groans once more.  Alec grabbed a hold of Christina to carry her weight. She felt anxious, the baby was coming. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach. It wasn't like pain from a contraction. She looked up at Alec with tears in her eyes. He looked down at her with a worried look in his eyes.

We have to get her to a hospital. Izzy stated towards Alec.

"I love you."Chris saids.

Her legs gave out and she collapsed in her lover's arms. Alec caught her and gave his sister and Magnus a look. Magnus portalled them all from their nursery to the New York Institute. Alec rushed his girlfriend into the infirmary. Where the silent brother waited.

"She collapsed—her water broke..." he trembled out with his eye getting puffy.

"Well take her...they'll be okay Alexander." Brother Enoch told Alec, taking Christina and placing her on the infirmary bed.

Alec nodded, placing his hands onto his face then raising them above his head.
He felt hands being placed on his broad shoulders. He turned around to see his sister Izzy.

"I called mom, and Chrissy's family on the way, they'll be okay big brother." Izzy said, reassuring her older brother.

"Yea..yea" Alec breath out.

I woke up in my bedroom, my bedroom from 3 years ago. Everything was the same as the day my dad died.It was like a dream, I had dreams of this day since it happened. In my dreams he doesn't go on that stupi mission. And if he did he comes back with a basket full of Irises for me and just like he plans they make me smile. They make me feel better. I looked in the mirror I had on that black Calvin Klein sports bar and gray joggers. And my old favorite black socks with arrows on them,  my hair was that chestnut brown again. Everything I had changed about myself since my fathers death was wiped away, gone I was Chris, my dad's Chris. I heard a knock on my old bedroom door. It was me and my dad's knocking code. If they knock three times then once more like a song I'd know it was dad. I'd missed that knock. I'd missed my dad more than any mundane word could possibly imagine being expressed.

"Come in."Chris said.

Her father entered the room in his mission suit like he did once before, 3 years ago this same day.

"Hi, il moroso. "Christopher greeted.

"Dad. " Chris saids in shock, running and hugging her dad.

"I've missed you so much.."Christina stated hugging him tightly.

"I know Chris..and I you. "He replies letting go of the embraces leading Chris to sit on the bed.

"You've been busy, I see..Alec lightwood." Her father stated with a smile. She blushed cheeks turning rose.

"I love him, dad. More than anything, he came into my life when I needed someone." Chris said with tears in her eyes.

"He brought "Chris" back." She adds with a laugh as tears roll down her dad laughs with her.

"I'm so sorry, il moroso..i..if I hadn't gone after Valentin- " Christopher but was cut off. "No, dad none of this was your fault you were doing what you thought was right none of us blame you."

"Ohh,Chris I'm so proud of the woman you've become. " "You're going to make a great mother." He stated holding his daughter closer, wiping her tears.

The sounds of a baby's cry's filled the institute.Alec had his little girl in his arms, he cut the umbilical cord. Hand the baby to one of the other silent brothers so he could clean her off. Alec rushed to Christina's side. She was lying there, eyes closed but still had a pols. He just needed her to wake up. 

"You need to be there for her. Like I was for you. "Chris's father said getting up from the bed.

"Dad, wait, don't leave. " Christina said, holding back a river.

"It's time il moroso, iris needs you . " "I know you'll love her and tell our family I love them." He said, grabbing a hold of the door knob. "I love you, Christina BlackThorn."

"And I love you, Christopher BlackThorn."Christina says as he walked out the door and the room went white.

She opened her eyes looking at the ceiling of the inferiority room. She looks over to see Alec holding baby Iris, he notices she's awake.

"I thought I lost you. " Alec said, kissing her.

"Never." She replies with a smile as a tear drops.Alec giving Iris to Christina she is so small and so beautiful. "She has you eyebrows." She states look up at Alec shedding one more tear laying eyes on what was now her world "yea and your lips." Alec replies.

"Iris Christopher Lightwood"

There's a slight knock on the door, the couple says come in softly. Both there families enter the room. Smiling faces all around.

"Okay what's our grandkids name?"Diana asks with a smile. "Iris Christopher Lightwood." They state.

"It's beautiful." Roslyn compliments "Of course, its baby Lightwood." Izzy said rushing over to see her new niece. Everyone laughed.

"So another?" Alec questions with and eyebrow raised, looking down at Chris.

"Slow your role Lightwood, how about we enjoy this one first and then we'll talk." Christina replies with a smile holding her little golden girl.  She lifted her head to the ceiling a bit and said "They need me". He thought about her fathers words.

"He loves us." Christina said to her family. "Dad, he loves us."

"He dose, il moroso." Her mother agreed holding Roslyn and placing her other on Christina's thigh.
