"HEY," the octopus guy called her as she was sitting down on the ground of the cage with her back on the rock wall. "You aren't Spider-man's girlfriend."
"According to this multiverse nonsense, there could be an infinite number of Spider-man variants and you thought I'm not who I say I am because I'm not the girlfriend to your Spider-man? I mean, this whole situation... string theory, multidimensional reality and matter displacement... and you honestly believe your Spiderman is the only one?" She scoffed. "Do you have the mind of an octopus as well?"
She heard some voices and decided it was best to close her eyes and just wait for Strange to... send them back so she could see Peter again.
But curiosity won when she heard the octo guy getting involved.
"Hey! Who the hell are these two?"
She stood up from the floor, looking at Peter next to a girl and a guy, who she assumed were the help he requested for.
"These are my friends," Peter replied. "This is MJ and this Ned... I'm sorry. What was your name again?"
"Dr. Otto Octavius?"
Even Harper chuckled with the three friends.
Peter, after laughing, talked again. "Wait no seriously, what's your actual name?"
"Oh, is that a dinosaur?" Ned asked, pointing at the lizard, while MJ pointed at Harper.
"And who are you?"
Peter breathed in deeply. "That... uhm... That is Harper..."
"What are you supposed to be?" Ned asked her.
Harper frowned. "What do you think I am? I'm a girl that wants to go home because she has a plane to Boston to catch."
"Boston?" Peter asked.
"MIT," she said back, as if it was obvious. "Peter and I... just... forget it and get us home, please?"

"I found him!" Ned yelled, making Harper open her eyes and sit down straight. "You can take the guy out of the chair, but you can't take the chair out of the guy." She frowned, maybe needing context for that.
"What did you find?" Peter asked him as Harper stood up.
"There's been a disturbance near a military research facility outside of the city. Witnesses say they saw a monster flying through the air."
"That's gotta be the guy I saw on the bridge, right?"
"That's impossible," Doc Otto interrupted, gaining Harper's attention.
"You know him, don't you?" Peter asked, approaching the crypt. "On the bridge, you said his name."
"Norman Osborn," Otto said.
"That's impossible," Harper whispered, gaining Peter's attention now.
"You know him?" Otto asked her.
"Yeah, I used to work for him... same did Connors." The lizard groaned. "His son is crazy, to say the least."
"He was a brilliant scientist." Harper had to agree with that. "Military researcher. But he was greedy. Misguided."
"What happened to him?"
That's when Doc lost his patience, turning around completely. "We are tired of your questions boy!"
Even Harper was startled by that.
Peter hurried to step back, turning to look back at the other three. "I gotta go. Where are we going?"
"It can't be him!" Doc exclaimed.
"Why?" MJ asked.
"Norman Osborn died," Harper added. "I believe in both of our universes."
Doc nodded as he turned to look at Peter again. "So either we saw someone else... or you're flying into the darkness... to fight a ghost."

Harper walked around in circles, nervous.
"Would you stop?" Doc asked her, but she kept going. "So annoying."
"I just don't get it," Harper said. "Why... Why is? There most be infinite number of people that know that Peter Parker isβ"
She was interrupted by a tree appearing in one of the cages, startling her completely.
She heard MJ and Ned giving directions to Peter as someone was attacking him, and for a second she got actually worried about him. She felt as if it was her Peter in that situation.
"Peter?" She yelled at the same time that Ned and MJ did, surprising everyone else in the room. She then turned to look at the rest. "What? He's our ticket home. This is too weird." Connors growled again. "Oh, shut up, Connors."
That's when another person appeared on the cage next to her, and she recognized him.
"Max?" She asked, confused, as he turned to look at her before checking his hands.
"Harper?" She stepped back as he turned to look at the lizard. "Connors."
"Why do you keep calling him that? The creature? You know it?" Doc asked Harper, and she shook her head.
"Not the creature. The man," Max said. "Doctor Curt Connors. He was a scientist in Oscorp when I worked there." He then turned to look at Harper. "When we worked there."
"A brilliant scientist," Harper added. "He helped Peter a lot... until he turned into a lizard and tried to kill him. Then he tried to turn the whole city into lizards. It was crazy."
"It wasn't crazy, Miss Cohen, it was the next step in human evolution. I would've succeeded it if your boyfriend Parker hadn't stepped in."
"The dinosaur can talk," Ned whispered.
"Speaking of which, what happened to you, Max? Last I recall you had bad teeth, glasses and a comb-over. Did you get a makeover? You know I can give you a real makeover."
Harper rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, by turning him into a lizard?"
"Exactly, Miss Cohen," Connors replied.
"Would you two just shut up?" The sand guy asked, someone Harper didn't even realize had arrived. "Where are we?"
"It's complicated," Ned said.
"A wizard'a dungeon!" MJ exclaimed.
"Wizard's... Wizard's dungeon?" Max asked.
"There's no way to sugarcoat that. It's literally the dungeon of a wizard."
Harper nodded, it was true.
"Look, you can keep your magic," Max told her. "I want a taste of that new energy I just felt."
Harper crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Right... hey, last time I saw you, you were blue."
"I don't want to talk about that."
They heard MJ talking to Peter, at least this universe's Peter, while she kept staring at Max and Connors.
They were both supposed to be... dead. She saw them die, or well, she saw Max die...
But they are here. A new version of Norman Osborn was here as well.
Three dead people.
"Hey, ask him if this is a tree monster or a scientist that turned himself into a tree?" Ned told MJ as he pointed at the tree.
"It's just a tree, man," Max said. "Just a tree."
