A week has passed after arriving at Hogwarts after the Christmas holidays and I haven't heard from Luna since. I tried sending owls to her home address multiple times but instead, the letters got sent back to school every time. This was confirming my fears of her being taken hostage by Death Eaters. I couldn't sleep for days thinking about how she was or whether she was still alive. I was worried sick and worst of all, couldn't talk about it with anyone.

Draco hadn't sent me any letters throughout the week which also worried me to bits. I was exhausted from doing research in the library late into the night every day to the point I noticed a change in my physical health and academic achievements. But that didn't matter, I just hoped that the people that I cared for so much were alive and well.

As of the moment, I was walking to Aberforth's house in hopes to seek answers to questions I had about Potter and others from the club. I approached the building under which the old man lived and went down. As I got to the door, I heard two voices in a conversation. This was new, Aberforth didn't have friends. I bust the door open to see an elf with red sneakers screaming at Aberforth who was trying to calm him down.

"Tell me where they are, I need to save them," the elf yelled throwing his hands up in the air.

"Calm down first," Aberforth said sternly, "You need someone else to back you up, Dobby."

"May I ask what's going o-" I tried to ask but was cut off by the elf grabbing my hand.

"What about her?" the elf, whose name was Dobby, asked hurriedly, "She will do won't she?"

I looked at Aberforth confused with a blank face. What was going on? Who needed saving? Who was in danger? Did something happen to the club members?

"Y/N, Potter's in trouble," he started explaining, "he was captured in the Malfoy's manor, where I also think a girl named Luna is. At least the mirror showed so."

So, let me get this straight. Potter's held hostage in Malfoy's manor, and there is a big possibility that Luna is also there. This elf named Dobby wants to save Potter only Merlin could know why and suddenly I have to be dragged into this? I'm in.

"Would you help me, miss?" Dobby asked still holding onto my hand.

"I don't see why not," I answered casually.

"Hey, you are not thinking this through," Aberforth shut both of us up, "What if they see her? She'll be under suspicion for helping Potter, therefore she will be in deep trouble when she returns to the castle."

Dobby and I started each other for a minute then looked back at Aberforth scratching his chin and thinking about ways of avoiding facing that problem. Then suddenly, he clicked his fingers and hurriedly went to a small drawer in his kitchen.

"Polyjuice potion," Aberforth said showing a bottle of thick liquid in it, "Drink this."

I took the bottle from the old man's hand a gulped it down immediately hoping not to taste that awful-smelling potion. Right after I chugged it down, I threw the bottle away in disgust. What else did I expect? Champagne for a potion that literally contains someone else's hair?

I started feeling the effect of the potion quite immediately as I felt my height adjusting and my face changing. I looked at myself in the mirror to see my hair turning bright ginger and my face turned into one of a middle-aged woman. This woman seemed awfully familiar.

"Why the hell would you have Alecto bloody Carrow's hair in that Polyjuice potion? How did you even get it?" I asked with a shocked tone.

"Long story," Aberforth replied looking oddly at me, "Dobby will cast a spell on your clothes on the way, now hurry."

I looked at the elf who was now looking at me, "Whenever you are ready, sir."

"Sir?" Dobby asked surprised, "I like her attitude."

Dobby aggressively grabbed my hand and soon enough, we were gone.

In a matter of seconds, we appeared in a room that seemed like a cell. I quickly looked around myself and noticed two boys: one ginger, and the other brunette staring at us in astonishment. Far in the back, I noticed Luna and Ollivander. Wait, turn that back. Ollivander?

"Dobby?" Harry asked surprised, "And, who is that?"

"Ah, Y/N," Dobby answered quickly.

"What are you doing here?" Harry asked surprised that I looked like that.

"Dobby has come to rescue Harry Potter, of course," Dobby answered, "Dobby will always be there for Harry Potter."

Talk about trusting friends, am I right?

"Hold on," Harry said pointing his hand, "Are you saying you can Apparate in and out of this room? Could you take us with you?"

"Of course, sir. I'm an elf," the elf explained.

Harry then looked at Ron looking for approval to which Ron answered with a nod.

"Works for me," the ginger said.

"Right. Dobby I want you to take Luna and Mr. Ollivander-" Harry commanded but was cut off by Ron.

"Shell Cottage on the outskirts of Tinkworth, trust me," Ron looked at Harry who in response just nodded in agreement.

I looked around to see everybody staring at me waiting for me to say something.

"All right, when Dobby Apparates, I want you, Potter and Weasley, to hide behind that wall over there," I pointed my finger at the nearest column in the basement.

Harry and Ron nodded at me in agreement and then looked back at Luna and Ollivander to see whether they agreed with the plan or not.

"Whenever you are ready, sir," Luna said kindly.

"Sir?" Dobby asked again surprised, "I like her very much too."

Then the elf took Ollivander's and Luna's hands and turned back to me, "Meet me at the top of the stairs in 10 seconds."

The three of them Apparated and the rest of us, including me Harry, and Ron stayed behind. I started hearing footsteps approaching the basement so I gestured for the two boys to get behind the wall I showed them earlier. Then I, myself, ran to the right side of the entrance door and took my wand out. Suddenly, a shockingly ugly man opened the door and stepped forward into the cell looking around to see anyone.

"Petrificus Totalus," I whispered waving my wand and the man fell down right on his face, "What are you waiting for? Get his wand!"

The three of us carefully got over the ugly man's body and looked up to see Dobby already waiting for us on top of the stairs. We carefully; trying not to make a sound, ran upstairs to meet the elf. The latter then gestured us to follow after him up another set of stairs. As we were climbing up the stairs new voices started being heard from afar.

"I'm going to ask you once more, goblin," I heard a woman say with a hysterical tone in her voice, "Think very, very carefully before you answer."

"I don't know," I heard a masculine voice respond to the woman.

We started getting closer.

"You don't know?" the odd woman asked sarcastically, "Hah, why weren't you doing your job? Who got into my vault!?"

As we almost got to the floor the commotion that was going on on, I mentally gasped seeing Hermione on the floor almost lifeless. Who did this to her?

"Who stole it? Who stole it?" the woman from before asked hysterically. I couldn't make out who she was but from afar it seemed she had jet-black curly hair.

I looked in the direction of harry and Ron who looked like they saw a ghost. I couldn't blame them, their friend was lying there on the floor almost lifeless. It truly was a horrid sight.

"Liar!" the woman shouted making me snap back to what was really happening. I had to do something before anyone could get hurt. Although, Ron might have been thinking the same.

As the woman with the terrific voice started walking in the direction, I couldn't see her right in front of where the three of us were hiding, I was shocked to see Bellatrix bloody Lestrange. Hold on, I didn't sign up for fighting against a Death Eater who has a record of killing thousands.

"Consider yourself lucky, goblin," the mortifying woman said looking down at almost unconscious Hermione, "Couldn't be said for this girl, though."

I couldn't move out of fear.

"Like hell," Ron half shouted and sprinted toward Bellatrix, "Expelliarmus!"

I was terrified.

Bellatrix's wand flew toward Harry who immediately caught it getting ready to fight a slander pale man with long white hair. He seemed awfully like Draco but living his existential mid-life crisis.

What was going on?

"Stupefy!" Harry shouted from across the room throwing the long-haired man into a wall.

Suddenly, right from the corner of my eyes, I saw someone I wish I wouldn't see at the moment. There stood Draco fucking Malfoy in all his glory, all ready to take on Harry who had turned to face him. I finally saw Draco. There he was.

My train of thought was cut off when the situation started developing a new wave. Bellatrix who was now armed with a knife ran back to Hermione to pick her up off the floor. Harry and Ron, determined to knock Draco and another woman off their feet started attacking with full force.

Y/N, move!

"Drop your wands!" Bellatrix screamed as I saw her holing up the knife at Hermione's throat, "Drop them!"

After a few seconds, I saw both of the boys hesitantly dropping their wands to the ground.

"Draco!" the mental woman yelled, "Pick them up, now."

Draco obediently ran up to the boys and took both of their wands and ran back to Bellatrix. This was painful and sad to watch. Draco gave one of the wands to Bellatrix.

Y/N, move already.

"Well, well, well," Bellatrix whispered sinisterly, "Look what we have here... it's Harry Potter."

I wanted to help but I couldn't move. It seemed like I have been holding my breath for hours. I was too terrified to do anything. I didn't think this through. I didn't know I'd be facing dangerous Death Eaters along with Draco. I wanted to help, but at the moment, I felt so helpless.

"Potter's all bright and shiny and new again," Bellatrix continued talking with utmost blood-lust in her voice, "Just in time for the Dark Lord."

The potion was wearing off already. Shit, Y/N, move or all of you die!

"Call him," Bellatrix said with a chuckle, "Call him!"

The long-haired man who had recovered from being thrown into the wall came up front and opened his sleeve. That was it, he was calling Voldemort to kill us all.

Y/N L/N, FOR THE LAST TIME, DO SOMETHING!

"I THINK THE FUCK NOT!" I yelled from across the room coming out of hiding, "BOMBARDA MAXIMA!"

The floor blew up under our feet.

"PROTEGO DIABOLICA!" I yelled aiming at Bellatrix who threw herself away from my curse. The wall behind her started catching fire.

I saw Draco sprint in fear away from the fire. He looked at me shocked. He must have been surprised to see a fellow veteran such as one of the Carrows go against them. He took out his wand to throw a curse at me. Suddenly, fortunately, from across the room, Harry started running toward Draco. As soon as he got to the blonde he grabbed onto his wand and took it away from him. The brunette ran back to Ron who was holding Hermione.

"Y/N!" I heard Dobby shout from the other side of the room running toward me.

This was it. I've done what I could. If I stayed there any more time I would be as good as dead.

I took one last look at Draco. He was reliving another shock. I mean, he just found out that I was the one who blew his house up. I would be shocked too.

I quickly took out my necklace to show it to Draco and smiled softly.

"Goodbye," I mouthed and so with that, Dobby grabbed my hand and we disappeared.
