(play the song above when mentioned in the story <3)

"What in the bloody hell is the meaning of this?" I woke up to Leila yell-whispering into my ear. I shot my eyes open and sat up straight thinking Draco and I stayed in each other's arms for the rest of the night. Panicking I looked around myself and sighed in relief seeing Draco wasn't there and I had a blanket over me. He must have not wanted to wake me up and left me there.

"Uh," I started speaking staring into my friend's eyes and scratching my neck, "Study all-nighter?"

"It's good that you slept with a blanket, the fire has been out for 3 hours already and it's freezing cold," Leila mentioned with her arms crossed.

At the moment she looked like one of my parents with her foot forward, a frown on her face, and arms crossed. At the thought, I couldn't help but chuckle.

'Don't worry, I am not so dumb that I'd let myself catch a cold," I said then looked at the blanket on my legs. It definitely wasn't mine and haven't seen it around the common room before. Draco must have taken out his. I smiled at the gesture which didn't seem much, but coming from Draco was quite heartwarming.

"I think I might go and get ready," I said standing up and folding the blanket to give it to Draco the next time I saw him.

"Good choice," Leila clicked with her tongue and waved at me, "See you in the Hall."

After taking a quick shower and making myself look presentable enough for the school day I hurried up to get breakfast. Although, I might not be able to catch up with Leila as I wanted to talk to Luna. Firstly, because I haven't seen her much since Christmas break, and secondly, because I wanted to talk about the whole Snape-Harry-Draco ordeal. I needed reassurance about what I have figured out. Even though I had everything figured out about Draco already, I couldn't accept it. What if those were just false accusations I have made? What if the whole situation is just a part of my stupid imagination? There are so many 'what ifs', yet I already have my answer. Draco couldn't be a Death Eater...could he?

As I got to the Hall, I saw Luna waving at me with the all-too-familiar smile on her face so I rushed to the Ravenclaw table and sat next to her.

"Good morning, Loony," I said giving her a side hug, "How you been?"

"haven't been greater, really," Luna replied with her dreamy voice, "Although, I don't think the same goes for you."

"What do you mean," I asked with a quirked eyebrow.

"Wrackspurts, like Harry," she said looking at me, "they are everywhere in your head."

"Well, I guess you could say that?" I replied with an awkward smile, "Anyway, I have something to talk to you about."

"Sure, what is it?" Luna said shifting toward me.

"I have this stupid idea that Draco Malfoy could be a Death Eater, but I don't want to believe that," I said playing with the necklace Draco gave me, "You know, have you heard rumors or such?"

"Actually, you could be right since his dad is a Death Eater, but also I heard Hermione and Harry yelling at each other about it in the library," Luna replied looking at the ceiling.

Well, this reply certainly did not align with what I wanted to hear at that moment. In the bitter-sweet reality, I knew very well that Draco was a Death Eater trying to probably kill Dumbledore as he could have been responsible for hexing Katie and giving poison to Slughorn which was for killing Dumbledore. His dad is a Death Eater forcing Draco to become one and Snape is his ally helping him do the job. I am not too dumb to figure that much out, but could the others too? After all, if I said anything I'd need proof. But then again, could I do that to someone like the one who stays up all night with me, gives me all the care I need, dances with me in the astronomy tower, jokes around to cheer me up when he is at his worst? Could I really go against someone like him when he needed comfort most?

I figured this much out: he was terrified to bits about who he was and what he had to do. I couldn't simply let myself hurt someone who desperately needed help. It was so wrong in so many ways to others, but at the moment it felt correct to me.

I couldn't do that to Draco.

If he was a cold-blooded sinner, then I'd keep that secret and become one for him too.

The worst thing of all? I didn't know why.

"Y/N," I heard Luna's confused voice, "Why are you crying?"

"I don't know."

(play the song)

Me and Draco were sitting in the common room in our place looking at the green flames dancing around. His head was leaning on mine, his fingers were interlocked with mine, his heartbeat the same as mine. He was everything to me at the moment, yet I couldn't want him.

"Hey," I heard Draco speak up, "Why were you crying during breakfast?"

I didn't answer. What would my answer be? I couldn't simply lie to him; that was beyond me. 'You are the worst person alive in the castle but I care for you so much that I can't rat you out' would be my typical answer but would I ever say it to him? Of course not.

"Well, if you don't wanna answer," he said standing up and reaching his hand out to me, "Let me cheer you up a bit."

"Lead the way," I said smiling and taking his hand.

We got out of the common room into the hallways which were now empty, illuminated by the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. According to Draco, Filch typically falls asleep at that time we were sneaking out so we were good to go. I wonder where he was taking me. Maybe the astronomy tower, who knows? Honestly, I wouldn't mind going anywhere he wanted me to. As long as I was with him, that's when I was happiest.

"This is going to be the best place we've been to," he said smirking at me, "besides the small forest place and astronomy tower of course."

"I believe you, anywhere you take me is pretty," I said half-smiling hoping he would understand how much he meant to me.

"I'd say you are the one making them look pretty, but alright, L/N," Draco said suddenly stopping in front of a dead end, "Here we are."

The dead end was none other than the Room of Requirement. The Dumbledore's Army used to train here last year so I hadn't seen it in a long while. But the question is, why would Draco take me here?

"The Room of Requirement?" I asked with a casual tone, "What did you find there that you want to show me so bad?"

"You'll see," Draco answered smiling and entering the room with me.

As we got inside, I saw a bunch of stuff stacked together. There were so many things that were long lost and forgotten. There were multiple musical instruments, furniture, and clocks that were ticking simultaneously.

Draco escorted me further into the room through corridors made of those things. As I turned around a pile of furniture, I saw a little table with a white cloak on it and a single candle lit in the middle of it. Around the table were two old chairs facing one another.

"After you," Draco smiled and gestured for me to sit at the table.

I immediately sat down with a huge smile on my face. Draco probably put effort into finding these in this whole room. Then I saw him take a bunch of candy out of his pockets and place them on the table.

"Not steak, but why shouldn't we," Draco said sitting down in front of me taking Fudge Flies and eating one from the box.

"I'll take my favorite then," I said taking a box of Chocolate Frogs.

"What shall we do now?" he asked eating another Fudge Fly.

"You took me here, you suggest," I shrugged and ate my Chocolate Frog. Whatever he wanted us to do I didn't care about it much as the candy in front of me. This was an opportunity to have as much candy as I want without being scolded by Leila.

"We ask questions and answer on the count of three," Draco suggested "Like, to get to know each other."

"As if we don't know each other enough already," I said sarcastically "Okay then, favorite color? One, two three."

"(your fav color)"

"Red."

"Come on, dimwit, a better question?" Draco critiqued rolling his eyes.

"Okay fine, you ask a question then," I threw my hands up in the air.

"Do you like the person sitting in front of you?" He asked with the smuggest smirk he could put on his stupid beautiful face "One, two, three."

"Obviously," I heard my voice echo across the room as I realized that he tricked me into admitting it, "You ferret-looking twat."

"I hate it when you call me twat," Draco said laughing.

"Well, blondie, you better get used to it," I replied joining in with him laughing.
