I called out softly, "Yah, Sunghoon."
He barely glanced at me, muttering, "What?"
I knew what would get his attention. I pouted and gave him my best puppy eyes, the ones that always melted his heart.
But today, he was stubborn. "Don't look at me like that," he said, turning his head away, trying to hide the hint of a smile.
Undeterred, I scooted closer and wrapped my arms around him, resting my head on his shoulder. "Sunghoon... don't be upset," I pleaded, my voice barely a whisper.
He shook his head. "No."
"But I didn't do anything, I swear," I insisted. "I was just practicing and was about to fall, and he caught me. Do you think I asked him to catch me?"
"I don't know. Who knows," he mumbled, still avoiding my gaze.
"Sunghoon," I said again, this time with more determination. It was time to pull out my secret weapon, a trick that never failed.
Taking a deep breath, I looked up at him, my eyes sparkling with sincerity. "Baby, I've told you so many times. You are the only one I want. You are my everything. I love you the most. When I have a guy like you, I can never fall for someone else."
I saw his lips twitch, a small smile breaking through his stubborn faรงade.
"You are the cutest, most handsome, kind, and the most caring person I've ever met. I am so lucky to have you," I continued, my heart swelling with love. I leaned in and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"Ok fine. Enough," he finally relented, though his tone was still tinged with playful grumpiness.
I couldn't help but beam at him. "You forgive me?"
He met my eyes, and I could see the warmth returning to his gaze. "Fine," he said with a sigh.
"Yes!!" I exclaimed, my heart soaring as I hugged him tighter and kissed his cheek again, feeling the familiar rush of happiness that always came with his forgiveness.
I couldn't believe my luck today. After weeks of shared space with Sunghoon's adorable but often intrusive younger sister, Yeji, it felt like a small miracle that she was spending the afternoon with a friend. Sunghoon and I had the apartment all to ourselves. As we stepped through the front door, I could barely contain my excitement.
"Finally, some peace and quiet," Sunghoon murmured, his eyes twinkling with mischief. He slipped his arm around my waist and pulled me close, his warmth seeping into me. The way he looked at me made my heart race like it was our first date all over again.
"Seems like it," I said, my voice a soft whisper against his chest. I could feel the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. "What should we do with this rare opportunity?"
He tilted my chin up with his fingers, his gaze locking onto mine. "I was thinking of something special," he said, his voice low and filled with promise. His lips curled into a charming smile that made my knees weak.
Before I could respond, he led me to the living room, where he had set up a cozy, candle-lit space on the floor. There were blankets and pillows scattered around, giving it a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. My heart fluttered as I realized what he had planned.
Sunghoon gently guided me to the center of the blanket fort, his fingers trailing lightly down my arm. "I wanted to make tonight unforgettable," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Just you and me, no interruptions."
I could hardly wait as he pulled me into his arms, his lips brushing against mine with a tenderness that took my breath away. His kisses were slow and sweet, full of the love and care he always showed me. Each touch and caress was a promise of his affection.
As our kisses deepened, I felt an intense connection between us. Everything else in the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of us in our own little bubble of happiness. His hands roamed gently over my back, making me shiver with delight.
We spent the rest of the evening wrapped in each other's arms, sharing stories, laughter, and sweet kisses. Every moment felt like a precious gift, a reminder of how lucky I was to have Sunghoon in my life. When the candles flickered softly in the dim light, it felt like our own private paradise.
The night was ours, and I cherished every second of it, knowing that these moments with Sunghoon were the best kind of magic.
