The class moved outside as soon as they changed into their gym uniforms. The teacher, Mr. Aizawa, waited for them as the students began grouping together, wondering what their lesson would be today.

"How interesting," Shoto asked, standing next to Tomomi with his arms crossed. "It's barely the first day and we are already starting the training."

"Hmmm." Tomomi hummed, moving a strand of her white hair out of her eyes as the wind blew gently. "Do go easy on them, Shoto, whatever it is that we do."

"I could say the same to you, Tomo." Shoto replied, smirking ever so slightly. He knew Tomomi has more of an advantage when it came to using her ice quirk. Because it was the only quirk she had to worry about.

Whereas Shoto carried both parent's quirks in him. And though he was determined to not use his fathers side, he knew Tomomi was always a little better at controlling ice than him. The product of their fathers harsh treatment. At least some good came out of it.

Across the crowd, a group of teens began whispering about the twins. "Hey, don't you think it's weird how close they are to each other?" A blonde student named Denki whispered to his red head companion.

"I guess but they're twins, don't twins always have that weird bond or whatever?" Kirishima said, looking over the two.

He can definitely see the bond those two have. It was plain as day. Even if he just met them.
"Not gonna lie, that Tomomi Todoroki is pretty hot." Denki said, smirking. "I wonder what her quirk is."

"Is that all you think about, Denki?" Kirishima asked, chuckling at his friend.

"If you want to be heroes, we don't have time for that." Aizawa said after a student asked him about orientations. They were supposed to go.
"U.A is known for their freestyle teaching, of course that applies to us teachers, as well."

Tomomi looked on blankly while everyone was confused.

"Seated toe touch, upper body training, soft ball throw, 50 meter dash and more. You all did these in middle school, correct?" Aizawa continued on. "Your standard 'no quirk allowed' gym tests this country still insists on prohibiting quirks when calculating the average of those records. It's not rational. The department of education is just procrastinating."

He's technically not wrong Tomomi thought. This country fears what they can't control. But also loves using it when convenient. How sad.

"Bakugou!" Aizawa called, turning his attention to the blonde boy with an explosive personality. "How far can you throw?"

"67 meters." Bakugou answered, getting over his slight shock.

"Great, now try with your quirk, do whatever you need to, just don't leave the circle." He said, tossing him a ball. "Give it all you got."

"Awesome." Bakugou said, catching the ball. He launched it in the air, the wind flying in his spiky blond hair as the ball went against the wind. "DIE!!" he yelled and the ball flew with an explosion across the field.

"I was right." Tomomi smiled a little to herself. Shoto looked at her with curiosity in his eyes.
"Right about what?"

"His quirk definitely matches his personality." She explained. "Explosive, abrasive and yet strong."

Many kids started cheering and gasping at the sight they saw. And Bakugou was feeding off the praises.

"Now that's awesome!" A student exclaimed.

"Awesome, you say?" Aizawa asked in a creepy voice. "You're hoping you become great heroes here after three years and you think it will be all fun and games?"

Everyone silenced at his sudden stern tone. "Right, the one with the lowest score across all eight events will be expelled." He continued, moving his hair from his eyes. "Your fate is in our hands. . . . Welcome, this is the hero courses at U.A High."

"What!? The one with the lowest score will be expelled?!" A round faced student yelled in complete shock. "It's only the first day! That's totally unfair."

"You have to be prepared for anything." Tomomi spoke up, gathering their attention. "The world is already unfair enough as it is."

Hmph . . . . For a second rank weirdo, she does speak honesty. Bakugou thought, narrowing his eyes at her. Even then . . . . What's up with her and that damn weird brother of hers?

"Miss Todoroki is right." Aizawa agreed. "Heroes are the ones to correct that calamity. If you're hoping to spend your afternoons at McDonald's or something, then I'm sorry to tell you that for the next three years . . . . . U.A will run you through the ringer. That is after all, Plus Ultra."

"This should be fun." Shoto mumbled, grinning very slightly. Tomomi smiled a little, in agreement.

The 50 Meter Dash was the first test. Tomomi watched as Bakugou was paired with a student.
"3 2 1 START!" The robot counted down as the runners used their quirks to outrun each other.

In the end, Bakugou was the faster man, getting 4.13 seconds. Once he was done, he flashed her a very cocky smirk. As if to challenge her to go faster.

Tomomi raised an eyebrow at him before she walked over to the track. She had been paired with a girl in her class.

The girls got into position as the robot began to count down again.

"321 START!"

Tomomi's shoes quickly froze at the bottom, giving her away to be faster than her competition.
The students watched as she zoomed past her competition, seemingly gliding as she used her quirk to boost her completely past the other student, reaching the finish line first.

"4.10 seconds!"

"Wow! That was amazing!" A very short student said in awe. "She uses ice!"

"Shut up!" Bakugou growled bitterly, angry at the fact that she did better than him. Even if it was by a couple of milliseconds. I'm gonna destroy that damn Frost Bite!

"Hey, she looks like that boy with the red and white hair!" A female student with short brown hair commented quietly. "Except her hair is mostly white with one red streak!"

"Could be twins."

Tomomi walked back to the students, flashing Bakugou a grin as she walked by him. Smoke emitted from his skin the angrier he got.

Thus, commemorating the competition between the two.

For most of the event, Tomomi and Bakugou silently tried to one up each other. When it came to the Grip Strength, Bakugou won that but a student with 8 arms out did all of them.

When it came to the long jump, she was ahead by a couple of inches, pissing him off again.

Now came the ball throw. The same girl with the pretty round face and short brown hair went up and ended up getting an infinite on her score, seeing as her quirk was gravity.

An act that thoroughly made Tomomi awestruck. It was amazing, her quirk. She had to tell her. Because that's how you make friends, right? You compliment them?

"Excuse me," Tomomi called, as soon as she made her way towards the girl.

She turned around, blinking at her. Kind of shocked that she spoke to her. Tomomi seemed so unapproachable with her cold expression and aura.

But here she was, giving her a polite smile. "Your quirk is amazing. Truly a sight to see."

"Oh! Thank you so much!" She said cheerfully. "How kind of you! You know, you're quirk is cool, too. I'm Uraraka."

"I am Tomomi Todoroki." Tomomi introduces herself, bowing respectfully. "It is a pleasure to meet you."

"You are just too cute!" Uraraka squealed, causing her to jump slightly.
She had no idea Uraraka could be so . . . . bright and hyper.

"I think I'll call you Tomo-chan from now on!"

Tomomi gave her a confused look but before she could voice it, Aizawa called out the next student.

"Todoroki, you're next!"

Tomomi turned to him, glancing over at Shoto, who was wondering the same thing. Which one was he talking to?

"You have two in your class, sensei," She calmly pointed out. "Which one are you talking to?"

"Oh yeah, I do." Aizawa mumbled, scratching the back of his head. "Let's see . . . . . Tomomi, you first."

Tomomi walked over to the field after grabbing a ball. She stood her ground and closed her eyes.

"So she is his sister!"

"No shit, idiot, can't you see the resemblance?"

"They're the actual kids of Endeavor, himself! Wow!"

You wouldn't be saying that if you knew who he truly was. Tomomi thought grimly.

Students watched as ice suddenly coated the ball entirely. Her left fist froze over as she tossed the ice ball up in the air. Everyone watched in awe as she punched the ball so hard, it zoomed right into the air, almost out of sight. The ball suddenly exploded into the air, showering everything in slight snow fall.

"Whoa! She made it snow!" Denki exclaimed in awe as he began catching the snowflakes in his hands.

Shoto smirked, proud of his sister. I'm proud of you, Tomo . . . . Even if our father doesn't see it, I do. . . . You are stronger than you let on.

"701.1 meters, Tomomi" Aizawa told her.

Slightly proud of herself, she walked back to her brother. Shoto smiles at her as she stood next to him. "Good job, Tomo."

"Thank you." She quietly thanked before turning back to the class.

Next was that adorable green haired boy. He looked as if he was about to faint. Tomomi frowned a little. He seemed so nervous for some reason.

"Midoriya doesn't look so good." Someone said.

"Well duh, he doesn't have a quirk." Bakugou scoffed, wanting to see him fail.

"So you haven't heard about his feats during the entrance exams?" Iida asked, shocked by his words.

"No quirk?" Tomomi mumbled curiously, "how was he able to get in?"

"I don't know." Shoto replied, keeping his cool look.

"46 meters." Aizawa announced before he began to pull off his scarf.

"A-Ah! You're the erasure hero Eraserhead." Midoriya exclaimed, recognizing him.

"Ah, the hero who can nullify other quirks." Tomomi stated, causing the other students to pay attention to her.

Aizawa pulled Midoriya towards him with his scarf, seemingly talking to him. "It seems like he received some special instructions." Iida pointed out.

"Yeah, instructions to leave this school." Bakugou replied, crossing his arms.

"I believe Midoriya just needs to go at this at a different angle." Tomomi stated again. "Whatever his quirk is may not be suited for regular use. Either way, it would be fascinating."

"Tch, you think you know everything, huh, Frost bite?" Bakugou scoffed at her.

"I don't think, I know." She replied just as calmly as she always is. "If you were more observant of those around you instead of thinking of yourself, you would see it."

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, FROST BITE?!" Bakugou yelled at her angrily.

"It means you only see yourself and not others, just a simple observation." Tomomi replied, not getting that she's angering him even more.

"I'VE ABOUT HAD ENOUGH OF YOUR DAMN OBSERVATIONS, YOU DAMN FROST BI-"

He was interrupted when Midoriya used his quirk and threw the ball super hard, it disappeared. Such an action shocked everyone but none more than Bakugou, someone who knew him for years.

Impressive strength . . . . it seems familiar Tomomi thought, feeling a little suspicious. There's only one other hero who could do something like that.

"I'm getting to the bottom of this." She heard Bakugou mumble angrily before running towards him. His hands ready to blow something up.

"HEY!" He yelled, running towards the frightened boy. "DEKU, YOU BASTARD! TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT OR YOU'RE DEAD!!"

But before he could attack the poor boy, he was stopped by a grey cloth. "What the- this cloth! It's stiff!"

"It's a capture weapon made from carbon fiber and a special aloe wire." Aizawa explained. "And stop using your quirk, it's giving me dry eyes."

After that explanation, everyone began moving to the last event. Everyone except Bakugou, who was still in disbelief over Midoriya. Tomomi could tell they have some kind of history.

Maybe they grew up together?

"Tomo." Shoto's voice pulled her back to reality. "Come along." He said, waiting for her to follow.

She gave them one last look before walking off.

After the last event, everyone grouped back together to see how they did. To everyone's relief, no one was getting expelled. Aizawa confessed that he only said that to make them do their best.

But the twins weren't worried about that. They were more worried about their scores.

Tomomi looked at the scoreboard for her name. "Ah." She said, finding her name right at third place. Under Shoto's name.

"Not bad, Tomo." Shoto praised, giving her a gentle pat on her back.

Tomomi grimaced ever so slightly. Third place wasn't bad at all but she felt like she could do better. She was happy with her score but she knew her father would let her live this down and that was why she was left feeling a little unsatisfied.

But she didn't want to think about that now. She was happy she made top three.

I still have to do better.

I wanna try to keep the balance
between Tomomi and Shoto. Because
whenever I read fics with the oc being
his twin sister, it always seemed like
Shoto was better than them at everything
and I just find it interesting to have one
one twin be better at a quirk than the other
especially if they only have one to worry
about.

Also trying to keep them balanced like they level out each other and complement
each other's skills.

Anyways don't forget to comment and vote

Love you all
