"Luther?" Vanya asked with a towel in her hands. Luther began to wake up, his eyes blinking. He had a dream of Allison calling out his name so he looked up to see if it was Allison who was calling him. "Allison?' He asked.

Vanya smiled. "Sorry to disappoint. Here. For your face." Vanya gave the towel to Luther who sat up and reluctantly took them. "Do you need a pillow or... an aspirin?"

"Wait, uh... why are you here, Vanya?" Luther questioned.

"You're my brother," Vanya said sincerely. "I mean, apparently." Vanya chuckled.

"Five found you," Luther said.

"Yeah, he's downstairs waiting with the car. He said you'd be better off alone." You informed him. Luther turned to and gasped seeing you with crossed arms and leaning against a wall. You waved. "Hi, yeah, I'm (Y/n) and I'm alive. You're also my brother apparently."

"You don't think. You never do. You always jump to conclusions. Try using your brain next time, yeah?"

"You're alive?" Luther asked in disbelief. He couldn't believe his eyes, his sister alive in the flesh, and somehow doesn't have any homicidal rage towards him.

"Yeah. I just said that I'm alive." You frowned. "And sorry about Five. He's an asshole."

"Such an asshole," Vanya added as she grinned and sat down beside Luther.

"We, uh, all know that." Luther stuttered. He felt awkward seeing himself in his own room with his two sisters whom he hurt back at 2019. He stared at you for a while before awkwardly patting his bed beside him. "Y-You could sit down with me..."

You shook your head. "Oh, I'm alright. I can hear you from here anyway." You dismissed his offer but Luther sighed. "I insist." He said.

You bit your inner cheek before giving up and sat down beside him. You looked up at him and he can already tell, the rage and sadness in your eyes weren't that visible. Honestly, he's scared that you might kill him any second now for what he has done. But he felt a bit of relief to see you calm and not ready to kill him right then and there. "(Y/n), I'm sorβ€”"

"Before you say anything," You interrupted, holding up your hand. "I don't remember anything or any of you guys. I kinda have the same situation with Vanya except I do remember some memories but they're all just fake."

"Iβ€”" Luther stopped himself before sighing. "Even if you do remember or you don't, I still want to apologize. I've done... terrible things to you and Vanya and... I regret everything I've ever done to you. To you both."

"You won't listen! Vanya clearly needs our help but you're just here, locking her up, because what? Her powers are dangerous? Well, boohoo, Luther. Our powers are all dangerous!"

"Well, um..." You scratched the back of your head. "I actually don't know what to say. I can't really remember what you did but... maybe because you did those things was because you thought they were right. Being a leader is tough so, for now, I can understand you." You patted your brother's shoulder as you smiled. "It kinds of felt good that you apologized even though I don't remember the exact reasons."

"You apologized," Vanya added. "At least you owned up to your mistakes."

Although bad things were happening to his life right now, Luther felt a bit relaxed and happy seeing him bond with his two sisters. No fighting, no misunderstanding, no arguments, and no snarky comebacks. He could feel like crying but he knows he shouldn't. "So, uh, Vanya. How much did Five tell you? To you and (Y/n)?"

"Um, well, he filled in some gaps," Vanya answered. "Uh, eight children, a talking chimpanzee..."

"That I thought it was you before..." You whispered under your breath so Luther wouldn't hear what you just said.

"A very warm and cuddly father." Vanya said sarcastically that you snorted a bit. "An apocalypse."

Luther looked at Vanya. "He told you about that, huh?"

"Well, not all of it," Vanya confessed. "Because I think there's something he left out. About me."

You looked at Vanya before looking at Luther, waiting for an answer but he was staring at Vanya in surprise. "Huh."

"What caused the apocalypse?" You asked curiously to Luther.

Luther sighed, looking down. "Vanya did." He looked at Vanya. "You did. But not alone. I was part of it. I mean, we all were."

You softly gasped while Vanya started breathing heavily finally knowing the truth, the secret that Five was trying to hide from her. "How?"

"Uh, you got angry, lost control, and you... blew up the moon." Luther explained. "It slammed into Earth, wiping out everything."

Vanya's voice trembled. "Why would I do that?"

"It's complicated. Look... you had kind of a bad childhood."

The door suddenly slammed open causing you, Luther, and Vanya to jump in surprise. You quickly climbed up on Luther's bed and hid behind him when you saw his boss in rage. "Why the hell did you throw that fight?"

"Jack." Luther stood up to approach his boss.

"Answer me!"

You sat beside Vanya, holding her hand as you two watch the scene. "Sorry..." Luther apologized. Vanya stood up and dragged you with her near the wall to avoid Jack and Luther, hugging you tight as if you were fragile and needed to be protected. "I had a bad night," Luther told Jack.

"Bad night, you son of a bitch? You could've taken that chump's head off in your sleep!" Jack grabbed Luther and pushed him angrily. "I owe a lot of money right now, Luther, to people who can make things very hard on me!"

"Leave him alone!" Vanya shouted.

"Shut up and mind your business!" Jack yelled to Vanya.

"Jack, look... I'm sorry." Luther, again, apologized calmly. "All right? I'm gonna make it up to you, I promise. Okay?"

"I treated you... like a son."

"Jack, come on."

"No. You and me... we're done." Jack released Luther from his grasp. He walked away, ignoring Luther's calls and pleas. Jack slammed the door shut, leaving Luther speechless. Vanya detached herself from the protective hug and slowly approached Luther. "Luther?"

"Would you, uh... just get out, please?"

"Well, I don't mind staying, and I have more questions."

Luther shouted and released his anger, punching the bricked wall, making you jump in surprise. Luther looked outside to see Five, leaning against the car, his arms crossed. Five leaned in a bit, his eyes narrowed, to look at the new hole that Luther made on his own wall. Five shook his head and smirked, softly chuckling.

You grabbed Vanya's hand and slightly squeezed it, giving her the signal that it's time to go. Vanya softly nodded and followed you out of Luther's room. Vanya stopped in her tracks once she was outside and saw Five approaching with his hands in his pockets. Vanya scoffed and marched her way towards her car while you quietly followed behind. "Well, that clearly went well." Five said. "Y'all ready to go?"

"I'm going back to the farm." Vanya told Five as she passed by him. Five turned to you in disbelief but you ignored him and continued on your way. Five approached Vanya. "Hey. Unacceptable, Vanya. Remember, we need to stick together."

"Oh, why, so I don't end the world again?"

Five scoffed and looked back at Luther. "Stupid..." He muttered to Luther who, of course, didn't hear it. Vanya held the handle and opened the door of her car before turning to the boy. "Were you even gonna tell me?"

Five turned back to Vanya and shoved his hands back into his pockets. "You know what? In my defense, no. All right?"

"That's not really a defense. It's like you're saying your guilty of a crime." You whispered as you approached them earning a look from Five who heard it. Five turned back to Vanya. "And can you blame me? When you... you get angry, shit blows up."

"Great," Vanya said. "Are there any other family secrets you failed to mention?" She went inside the car as Five spoke. "A boatload, Vanya, which I don't have the luxury of sharing them with theβ€”" Five was cut off when Vanya shut her door close. Five sighed and gently knocked at her window. Vanya pressed her lips together before rolling down her window. "The clock is ticking on doomsday. Just tell me when I need you, you'll be ready."

"I can't help you, Five. I don't even know who I am." Vanya started the engine.

"You're our sister. And a member of the Umbrella Academy. Like it or not, that's who you are."

"Look, that's who I was, okay? New timeline, new me."

"No, that's not how it workβ€”" Five sighed as Vanya drove away, leaving you with Five. Five looked at you who's looking down, ignoring him. "You're mad at me too? What did the monkey say to you?"

"Nothing. Yet." You answered. "Any more secrets that I have to know? Other than our sister is a ticking time bomb and you being a secretive little man?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Iβ€”"

"Or in your defense, you're not going to tell me?"

"(Y/n), I swear, I will tell you everything, okay?"

You shook your head. "I'm tired of empty promises." You walked away from Five, leaving him all alone. "Ah, shit." Five sighed, brushing back his hair with his fingers. He turned to Luther who was watching the whole time and showed him his middle finger.

Five frowned at him before walking away too to follow you. "Wonder if it's too late to be un-adopted."
