"I'm heading out!" You exclaimed as you fix your hair. You weren't really used to this 1960s style of fashion because you were sure you belonged on a different timeline. Like 2019. But since your brain is so messed up, making you confuse, you shrugged it off and told yourself that maybe you do belong in this timeline and your brain's probably imagining things.

"And where are you off to?" Elliott asked, his eyes focused outside.

"Just walk around the area. I need to get used to this place. Maybe even buy some paint nearby." You said before taking out a mug and pouring some coffee in it, drinking it fast.

"You're gonna do redecorate?" Nico asked, his feet on a table while he reads a newspaper.

You shrugged. "Maybe. If I don't feel lazy. I'll be back soon, don't worry."

"Stay safe out there!" Elliott exclaimed. "Be careful and look left and right if there's a car."

"Yeah, yeah, I will." You grabbed your things and head out, exiting the room then the building. You went to a different exit, not the alleyway exit, missing the gunshots near the alleyway.

Nico, who seemed unbothered with the gunshots since he didn't hear them and was too focused on you being safe he stared at his newspaper before placing it down and turning to Elliott. "I should be with her, right?"

Elliot slightly chuckled. "Oh, you worry too much, Nick. Let her roam around the place."

"Just worried that she might get into danger ifβ€”"

"She can clearly take care of herself." Elliott interrupted. "You are being protective over nothing."

"It's just that... I don't want to see her hurt." Nico sighed, his chin resting on his palm. "This is probably my second chance to prove to myself that I can save and protect someone. I don't want (Y/n) to end up being hurt."

"You know, it looks like you two have been warming up now. You treat each other like family. I like that." Elliott stated earning a smile from Nico. The older man turned to the window and saw between the curtains to see a young boy scratching his nape. "What theβ€”?"

"What?" Nico asked.

"There's some kid in a uniform like (Y/n) wore when she first came here. Is he like her brother or something? Classmate?"

Nico took his feet off the table and stood up, walking towards the window to look what Elliott's seeing. "Huh. Maybe."

The boy looked up, seeing Nico and Elliott causing Elliott to panic. "Shit, Nick. What should we do?"

"Do you have a gun?"

"What?!"

"Just to protect ourselves!"

"The boy's just the same age as (Y/n)! He's a kid like her!"

"Are they really? Are they really kids? Cos we both noticed (Y/n)'s behavior and she doesn't really act like a goddamn kid."

Nico looked back at the window to notice that the boy is gone. "Shit. He's gone."

"He's gone?!"

"Elliott, stop panicking!" Nico exclaimed in a whisper tone.

"I'm not panicking, you're panicking!"

Then a knock was heard from the other door. Elliott and Nico exchanged looks before Elliott approached his door, opening it to find the same boy from outside. "What do you want?"

"Hi, I'm selling encyclopedias for my youth group." The boy introduced. Elliott looked behind the boy before slamming the door to the boy's face, uninterested. Elliott shook his head. "He's just selling out encyclopedias."

"(Y/n) and he have the same uniform. Does that mean she also belongs to their little club?" Nico questioned.

Before receiving an answer from Elliott's mouth, the boy suddenly appeared inside the room. Elliott shrieked, stepping back in fear while Nico's first instinct was to grab a butter knife. Elliott grabbed something from the drawer, earning a head tilt from the boy. "How'd you do that?"

"Don't really have time to explain."

"You from the Pentagon? Huh?"

"Definitely not."

"Undercover spy?" Nico asked, still pointing his butter knife to the kid.

The boy raised a brow at the young man before looking back to Elliott who started rambling. "CIA? FBI. KGB?"

A coffee caught the boy's attention immediately and pointed at it. "Is that fresh?" The boy disappeared before reappearing again beside Nico. Nico gasped while Elliott screamed as the boy calmly poured coffee on a mug he found on the table.

The boy walked past the man as he drank the coffee. He looked down at the mug before turning to Elliott. "Hmm. This Columbian?"

"It's my own blend."

The boy slightly nodded until he found some newspapers, pictures, and machines around. "You ever heard of, uh, Area 51? Roswell?"

Elliott scoffed and then chuckled, circling around. "Hot damn!" His small knife was dropped, clattering on the floor. Nico gave a look of disbelief to Elliott for putting his guard down. "Whoo! See, I always knew we weren't the only ones. See, Eleanor thought my head wasn't screwed on tight, but... but it's all true, yeah?"

"Come on, man." Nico sighed.

"Ah, ah!" Elliott shushed Nico. "The UFOs, crop circles..."

"Well," the boy said, approaching the man. "The truth is out there."

"No, no, no, no, no." Elliott shook his head as he approached the boy earning a step back from him. "The... truth, it's... right here in front of us. Tell me wh... why is it always an anal probe?"

Nico furrowed his eyebrows, shaking his head while the boy leaned, looking up at Elliott. "Any closer, and I'll melt your brain."

Elliott immediately nodded and stepped back. "He needs a little space. Yes. I'll be over here."

"All those contraptions on the roof, you built those, right?"

Nico stared at the kid and Elliott in disbelief, watching and listening to their conversation. Elliott continued to ramble and explain stuff. "Y-You know just.. uh.. waiting."

"Waiting for what?" The kid asked.

"For you."

The kid narrowed his eyes in confusion. Elliott pointed to his board. "For all of you."

Nico dropped the butter knife and scoffed. "Really? You're gonna tell the kid right away? It took you three days to tell us how it all started.

'Us?' The boy asked in his mind. 'Who else is here?'

"Hush up, Nick." Elliott shushed. "It all started in 1960, the year the Silvertone Omega was released. I was in the middle of a sale when something very... strange happened."

The kid continued to listen as he also looked at Nico suspiciously. Elliott continued his story. "So, for the past three years, I've witnessed five energy surges in that alleyway outback. It was the same thing every time. A bright blue light, then something appears."

"We sometimes call it the blue butthole because it just kept pooping out people." Nico added as he shrugged earning a small chuckle from Elliott while Five rolled his eyes and look at the board full of papers and pictures. "Did you get a good look at any of them?"

"Yeah, the first one. And then the big, sensitive one."

The boy turned to Elliott. "Sensitive?"

"Yeah, cried a lot, kept coming back to the alley sat around for hours calling a woman's name. Uh..." Elliott tried to remember the name as he snapped his fingers. "Ah! Allison!"

"Luther." The boy predicted, looking back to the pictures to see Luther.

"Yeah, he... he wasn't the only one. Uh, the others came too, off and on over the years, looking for each other. Eventually, they... they stopped."

"So, my family is alive." The boy said softly until remembering something painful. "Most of them, I guess... shit."

"Most of them?" Nico asked, hearing the boy loud and clear.

"I think I stranded them here." The boy stated, ignoring Nico. The kid started to approach Elliott. "Now, listen to me..."

Elliott walked back, bumping to the sofa behind him as the boy walked towards him. "Elliott. Elliott. My name... My name's Elliott." The man introduced himself as he spluttered. Elliott jumped off from the sofa to the other side until the boy disappeared, reappearing beside him causing the poor man to bump his head to his lamp.

"Whatever, all right? I got ten days to find them and save the world. Now, I need your help to do that."

"You need... my..." Elliott gasped as the kid stuffed his hands into his pockets. Elliott blindly opened the drawer. "You know what? I, uh... I always thought that this, uh, mugshot looked like arrival number four." Elliott showed a piece of newspaper with the boy's brother's face in it.

The boy's eyes widened as he recognized the man. "Diego."

"Oh, so you know the bastard," Nico said. "Your father or uncle?"

"Brother." The young boy responded as he read the article softly.

"So then, that's helpful?" Elliott asked.

"You have no idea." The boy folded the piece of paper before disappearing again. Nico leaned at the table, his hands stuffed on his jeans. "You seriously gonna believe that kid?"

"I-I, uh, what?"

"The kid is nuts, Elliott. And you heard him saying save the world? I'm telling you that kid's high or something. Probably insane."

"W-Well, we just saw him teleporting. Anything seems possible now."
