Her grandparents became intrigued when she talked about Sasuke. It's also not surprising that Uchihas tend to be reserved because Isamu and Haruna were familiar with them at an early age.

Misa lets out a playful laugh, "Sasuke-kun is an introvert but I don't mind it." She tells the elderly couple. Throughout the discussion with her love life, Isamu and Haruna view it as an interesting love story because they normally don't hear a romance from the Uchiha Clan. Their history is filled with serious events and finding peace in the toughest situations. But overall, they're happy for Misa. Isamu ruffles his beautiful granddaughter's head, "I am interested to meet Sasuke. I wonder if your parents will allow him to join our family." He implies whether Sasuke and Misa will get married and be accepted by Akemi and Reiko.

A rosy blush colored the ebony-haired girl's face. Marriage. She never thought about it because she is still young and wants to be with Sasuke for more than a short period. Misa believes that it's best to talk it out with her parents whenever they are ready. "I hope there won't be any issues with it because I truly love him." She wholeheartedly admitted that Sasuke is the one. Haruna begins to speak, "You're very mature about this relationship. I wish the best of luck for both of you." She pecks her granddaughter's temple. Giving Misa enough support and making her feel good. The young shinobi is thankful to have the most incredible family.

"I see that you all are enjoying my cherry blossoms." A feminine voice spoke with a hint of delight.

The trio shifted their heads simultaneously to see Reiko. She began to approach her daughter and her parents. Isamu puts on a smile, "Can we collect some of the leaves?" He asked his child. Reiko nods her head, "Of course, otou-san! Collect as many as you want." She lets her father because he has a big heart for nature. Misa laughs gleefully; her grandpa is a lovable man. She also wasn't sure if it was coincidental that Haruna and Reiko both married men that were once captains of their team. Not to mention, her family had some connection with members of the Uchiha Clan.

Subsequently, the people gathered in the humble home to spend a pleasing moment together. Later on in the night, Misa reads the lyrics to a song in her songbook. She finished writing the song months back and it's dedicated to Sasuke. She first wrote it when the Rookie 10 were in their early teens. Except the song doesn't have a title. Misa left it blank for a long time and never returned. For some reason, she now wants to come up with one.

The Akiyama looks at her open bedroom window. Her magenta-like eyes are glimmered by the full moon, and the stars are scattered around it. The beauty is unreal. But then, all of a sudden, everything clicked in her head. She picks up a pencil from her nightstand and writes down the official title.

Misa etched a cheerful smile; she hopes that Sasuke will love the song. She begins to sing it.

So if fate tries to pull us apart,
I want to protect you, even if it destroys this world

Even knowing this dream is fleeting,
I still want to live my life with someone else
Even if I learn the pain of loss,
I'll always be longing for someone else

Farewell... farewell...

Somewhere in the outskirts of Konoha, Team Hebi and Itachi are camping out in the forest. Sasuke abruptly perks his head up. "What's wrong?" His brother questions. The two are sitting by the fire while the others are sleeping. "I don't know if it was just me but I heard her voice. Misa was singing." Sasuke is bewildered. He probably looks like a crazy person right in front of his brother. But he could've sworn that he did hear Misa's angelic singing. Itachi plays a grin, "I don't hear anything but what I can tell is that you miss her." He can see Sasuke's face change from shock to downcast. Not only his brother but he does feel the same way with Nanami.

"Yeah, I do but I know we are going to make it to the village." Sasuke is confident with his words.

Itachi did a small nod, "I understand. I forgot to mention this most important information about myself."

The younger Uchiha looks at him with curiosity written all over his face. "What is it?" He has his full attention on Itachi. The man sighs, "Well, if we didn't settle our ways for each other then I wouldn't get to live. I am suffering from an unknown illness for a couple of years now. I wish to receive some proper treatment but I know it's not going to be easy." Itachi explained to Sasuke. The raven can see his brother looks normal on the outside but never knew he was in deep pain from the inside. The world loathes him. Sasuke speaks, "I am not sure how far Misa is with the Medical Ninjutsu but she might help you since she is someone that you already trust. If possible, you can reach out to Orochimaru." He knows that Itachi is limited on options but those two people are the ones that he can think of.

"I appreciate that you are looking after me, otouto." Itachi can't express how much he loves his brother. "Don't worry. I'll try to be healthy as possible." He assures Sasuke. The eldest tries not to be discouraged from his illness—he truly is a strong shinobi. "I'll take it over from here. Get some rest. We'll be arriving in Konoha for the next five hours." Itachi decides to do the lookout. Sasuke stands up from his seat and dives underneath the blanket to get some shuteye. He is eager to see Misa. The boy will do his best to make her happy again.

At the crack of dawn, the group continues to move right along. Team Hebi has changed to Team Taka. Sasuke renamed it because Team Hebi was the name for the beginning of their chapter. It's time to flip to the next page and make Team Taka be part of the allies. "Team Taka created by Uchiha Sasuke. It'll be in the shinobi textbooks one day." Suigetsu puts on a whimsical smile. "Who knows. Future generations might learn about us." Karin makes an assumption. The fish boy chuckles, "What kind of shinobi wants to learn about a hideous woman?" He throws an impudent remark. The kunoichi fumes, "You want to start problems don't ya?" She clenched her hands into fists.

Itachi can feel the tension between the two people. "Are they always like this?" He asked Sasuke and Jugo.

"You have no idea." The boys answered in unison. Itachi can only believe that they dealt with Suigetsu's and Karin's bickering like it's nothing to them.

After another hour of traveling, Sasuke's obsidian gaze lands upon a peek of the mountain with five different faces. He can see it now; they finally made it to Konoha. The nostalgic aura is coming back to him. Sasuke then feels a hand is onto his left shoulder. He turns his head to see Itachi is by his side. "Go ahead. We'll follow you and keep ourselves distant from the public." A smile graced the older Uchiha's handsome features. With a tight grip on the shoulder, Itachi assures Sasuke that everyone will be safe.

Then, a tap on the forehead happens. Itachi did the 'forehead poke' to his brother. "Good luck." He sends him a smile.

"See you later." The raven makes his way into the village.

The lake is colored with a majestic blue and is shimmering by the flaming sun.

An ebony-haired beauty stood on top of the emerald grass and takes in the serene air. Misa would come to the lake from time to time because it's significant. She and Sasuke made a lot of memories around the area. But then the impact of anguish started to come down on Misa. The tears wouldn't stop running down from her eyes. She cannot contain it any longer.

It feels like an eternity. Misa misses Sasuke and she gets afraid of whether there will be no chance of luck. She does have some doubts. Misa grabs the charm of the moon necklace to have a look. There is never a day she takes it off. A breezy wind blows on her face—letting her dark locks move elegantly into the air. A tear drips from her chin and lands onto a leaf of a white magnolia.

That's when she feels a comforting warmth embracing her back. She gasps in shock by the feeling of arms around her small waist.

"I'm right here, hime."

A husky voice spoke into her ear. Misa swiftly moves her body to gape at the person. She gingerly raised her hand to cup his perfectly sculpted face. He shifts his head to lean into her palm. Everything is real. "Sasuke-kun." Misa sobs his name out loud. Once she said his name, he instantly goes for the kiss and spills all of the passion onto her lips. His angel didn't hesitate when returning it by hugging his neck while standing on her tippy-toes.

When pulling away, Misa noticed that Sasuke looks different. He doesn't have his hair center-parted anymore. The bangs are draped over his forehead, creating a mature look on him. Including his outfit has changed. "I love you, Misa." Sasuke begins to tell it all. "I am deeply sorry for making that choice of leaving you in the first place. I no longer have the desire for power. I desire to help make this world a better place. I want all of us to be in a peaceful life." The Uchiha gently pressed his forehead against hers, "I want us to stay as one and be more than just lovers in the future." He confessed that he is willing to be part of his lover's life until the very end.

She meets his onyx eyes that are showing real emotions. "I don't want anyone besides you," Misa spoke the truth and Sasuke is beyond elated. "You've changed your way of thinking, and it has made you a different person. But most importantly, I forgive you, Sasuke-kun." She softly pecks his lips. "I love you too." Those words never fail to make Sasuke feel content all over again.

Afterward, they decided to lay down on the smooth textured grass and watch the fluffy, white clouds move at a slow pace. Sasuke remembers that very dream when he was a new shinobi. They're both grown up and having a placid moment. Misa puts her head onto his firm yet comforting chest. Sasuke has one arm wrapped around her back and the other one behind his head as a cushion. "Have you met our friends yet?" Misa lifts her head face from his chest to give him the cutest, questioning face. Sasuke responded, "No, I have not. I'll have to figure out a way to meet them. However, I have a feeling they'll be disappointed to see me." He lets out a sigh. The raven left his friends like a complete traitor.

"I'm sure they'll be happy to see you. Make them believe that you are still their comrade." Being the saint that she is, Misa tries to make things positive. Sasuke can't believe he is dating her but he has no regrets. Coming back from a rogue village like it's nothing will make him the worse human in the world. "Hn, they will throw fists at me once I reunite with them." Sasuke is back to his blunt yet honest self. Misa giggles blithely, "They won't." She said and does a bold move that never in a million years Sasuke would ever experience. Misa shifts her legs over to straddle his waist. Even though they just came back, the lovers are becoming intimate.

"I hope no one is spying is on us because they'll get the wrong idea." Sasuke backtracks his previous sentence because he now doesn't want multiple fists to be swung at him. Misa did it so casually. The girl etched a smile on her face, "Why? They should know what happens in a relationship." She delivers a statement that simply describes when a couple is madly in love.

Sasuke sits up and mildly holds her waist to prevent her from slipping. "Well, would you do that in front of everyone?" He puts on a teasing smirk. Misa blushes profusely, "No!" She glares at him with a red face. Sasuke laughs lightly at her adorable shyness. It has been a while since he last pokes fun on his angel. Later on, they took a stroll around the lake and reminisce some of their earliest moments.

"So, you assembled a team?"

During the walk and holding hands, Sasuke brought up the topic about Team Taka. He responds to Misa's question, "Yes. At first, I didn't choose to do it because I thought I can handle finding Itachi by myself. However, Orochimaru made me recruit three people that are his former vessels. Jugo, Karin, and Suigetsu." After a surmise of an introduction to the squad, Misa beams when he said Suigetsu. Her favorite water boy. "Wait, he is human now?" She asked in total shock. Sasuke nodded, "Yeah, he is not liquid anymore." When confirming the response, Misa squeals with pure happiness.

The Uchiha is love-struck. He wants to grab her petite body and squeeze the living life out of her. Misa needs to be protected at all costs. Along with Suigetsu, he talks about the other two members. Sasuke defines Jugo as the gentle giant and Karin the impulsive yet skilled kunoichi. Misa finds it amusing that he gave them a description of their character. "Jugo has the Curse Mark but unlike mine, he loses control of his sanity. Despite all of that, he gave me his trust to keep him calm as possible. Karin, she has similar shinobi abilities like you, but her nature is the complete opposite." Sasuke finished explaining who is from Team Taka.

"Why do you say Karin-san is different from me?" Misa asked him innocently.

"Uh." He gulps his saliva. The Uchiha Sasuke is becoming nervous. Great. However, he should tell her instead of keeping it a secret. "Karin would be flirting at me but not in an appropriate way." There he said it. A silent pause comes in. Sasuke waits for Misa to say something, but at the same time, he is eager. "I'm not jealous," Misa admits in a laid-back tone of voice. Sasuke lifts his eyebrows, "Not even the slightest?" He asked to make sure he is hearing it correctly that she is not upset. The girl shook her head as a non-verbal response.

Lies. He knows behind that blank facial expression is hiding her true emotions. Sasuke decides to do a little bit of teasing. "Are you sure?" He leans into her personal space. Misa does a frown, "Yes, I am not." She huffs and looks away from him. Sasuke continues to push her buttons until she tells him that she is jealous.

Misa let go of his hand and crossed her arms. "You are annoying." She remarked for the first time in their relationship, but with his typical words. Guess they are a match made in heaven. Sasuke comes right behind her to hug her backside. His most common way of showing affection. Misa can't stay mad at him when he is acting all playful and cute. A pleasant smile creeps onto her glowing face.

For many months it's officially happening. The lovers are back together.
