Isidora's POV:
It's been a week or two since we've moved in with Justice Strauss. It's been absolutely heavenly! I didn't even think I'd ever say that phrase again! It was a quiet Saturday morning when Justice Strauss walked into the library.
"Good Morning children! I have to go on a day trip with the Justice Association of America today, and I won't be back until later this evening. There's groceries in the fridge for lunch and dinner, do be good!" She called as she left the library door.
"Bye Justice Strauss!" We called.
"She's been so kind to us." Violet smiled as she put down her book, 100 Ways To Catch The Wind.
"What If we do something for her?" Duncan questioned.
"That's a great idea! We can throw her a little party, just her and the 5 of us!" Klaus explained.
"Vechic- Klaz!" Sunny chirped, meaning, pasta puttanesca!
"We could make her that, sunny! And some other recipies she's bookmarked in her Library." I smiled, pointing to the Cooking and Baking shelf in the library.
"We can organize it all today, get the ingredients, and cook it all today!" Duncan beamed.
And with that, the great Justic Strauss Party Prep had begun.

Within 5 minutes, they had found all of the great recipies to follow. They split into 3 teams, the shopping team, the cooking team, and the decorations team.
The shopping team consisted of Violet and Duncan, the cooking team consisted of Isidora and Klaus, and the decor team consisted of Sunny.
Duncan and Violet set off, to find the ingredients at the markets.
"Why, isn't it a great day for market shopping?" Violet said sarcastically, pointing to the grey sky.
Duncan laughed, squeezing her hand that he was holding softly.
"Only you would find beauty in the most unappealing looking days." He laughed.
They walked to the entrance of the market, and went down the list of ingredients they needed in the various recipies.
They were about 45 minutes in, when they came to the last booth, the Pasta Stand, with various pastas, macoronis, etc. All ready to boil. The lady at the booth was elderly, and wore a kind smile. Violet admired the various collection of noodles while Duncan bought the pasta.
"How much will it be?" Duncan asked, taking the bag of pasta.
The kind elder smiled. "On the house, for you and your girlfriend."
Duncan's POV:
Girlfriend.
Violet Baudelaire, my..
Girlfriend?
I stuttered. "S-she's not my girlfr-.." I started, until I saw the way violet looked at me with curiousity. She obviously heard.
"Nevermind. T-thank you, Maam." I smiled, taking Violet's hand, getting the heck out of that awkward situation.
We walked to the beach, and sat on a bench overlooking the sea.
"I'm sorry about how awkward that was-" I started.
Violet laughed. "Its okay, Duncan."
I took a deep breath. "H-hypothetically... If you were to date anyone, who would you date?"
She sat there for a second, before chuckling. "You, silly."
"Me?" I asked in awe, facing her.
"Yeah," she blushed.
And with that, I closed the gap.
I kissed her.
Violet Baudelaire.
It was short, lasting about 5 seconds, but it was sweet, and passionate.
When we pulled apart, we both laughed, in awe of each other.
"Does this mean we're dating?" I asked.
She blushed. "Yeah."
And with that, she put her head on my shoulder, and we watched the beach, silently.
