Amara looked at Lydia who seemed like she was psyching herself up making Amara's smile softly. They both stood in Amara and Makena's garage that Makena uses to work out in. "I'll go easy on you until you get better at this." Amara said making Lydia look up at her and took a deep breath before nodded.

"Alright, let's go." She said and Amara nodded slightly before grabbing Lydia's arms. "Arms up, like this." Amara said holding Lydia's arms in position as Lydia nodded, "You can block attacks to your face and your head while always keeping your eyes on your enemy." Amara said before raising her eyebrows.

"Ready?" Amara asked and Lydia nodded. Amara threw a punch that Lydia blocked, before throwing another one that Lydia also blocked. Amara went to kick Lydia's good side making Lydia try to block her which made her distracted. Amara lightly punched Lydia's shoulder making Lydia sigh frustratingly.

"It's okay. You're not going to be perfect after only a few tries. It's embarrassing how many times my mom took me down when I was learning." Amara said Lydia took a deep breath before turning to Amara again, "I'm okay. Keep going." Lydia said making Amara raise her eyebrows.

"You sure? Maybe we should stop after a few." Amara said as Lydia caught her breath, "Why?" She asked. "I don't want your stitches to get ripped out." Amara said and Lydia shook her head, "They're fine." She said and Amara raised her eyebrows in a mix of amusement and worry. Lydia sighed before unzipping her jacket to show her gauze covered wound, "See? No blood." She said while taking her jacket off.

"Alright." Amara said in a slightly chuckle before taking her jacket off. "Ready when you are." Lydia said and Amara nodded before throwing a punch that Lydia dodged. They threw a few punches at each other until Amara grabbed Lydia's arm, spinning her around before pinning her arms down.

"Where did it go wrong?" Amara asked as Lydia took a couple deep breath, leaning her hand back against Amara's shoulder. "I uh- forgot to keep my arms up." She said and Amara nodded, "Don't worry- your muscles have memory. With enough practice, they'll remember for you." Amara said. They looked at each other for s moment before Lydia suddenly winced slightly and pulled away making Amara look at her worriedly.

"What's wrong? What is it?" Amara asked, gently grabbing Lydia's arm and Lydia took a deep breath. "Muscle memory." She said in a slightly whisper making Amara follow her line of sight to the Dread Doctor's book that was peaking out of Lydia's bag.

"Okay, I think we're done for today." Amara said and Lydia spun around to look at her, "What- We just started." She said and Amara nodded. "We can do more tomorrow. But until your side heals up completely, we have go easy." Amara said and Lydia sighed. "A couple more goes, then we're done." Lydia said and Amara sighed softly before nodding, "Okay, fine. But that's it." She said and Lydia nodded.

"Stand up straight and place your feet shoulder width apart. Move one foot slightly in front of the other, and keep them mostly parallel to each other." Amara said as she helped Lydia get into the right stance. "Move forward with your non-dominant foot, and at the same time pull your left shoulder back, twisting your hips to the left slightly, and twisting your right shoulder forward. Keep your weight balanced." Amara said as she gently turned Lydia's hips slightly before turning Lydia's shoulders.

"Bring both hands up just above chin height." Amara said as she pulled Lydia's arms up, "Keep your hands level and your elbows tucked in to your sides. After you throw a punch, immediately bring your arm back to its original placement." Amara explained and Lydia nodded.

"When you punch, dont just aim randomly, aim for a specific target. Having a specific target will stop you from pulling your punches and will also help you throw a more powerful punch." Amara said and Lydia nodded as Amara moved to stand in front of her.

"Remember, chin down, arms up. Go." Florence said and Lydia instantly threw a punch that Amara block. This went on for a few minutes of Amara mostly blocking Lydia's hit but Lydia getting a few hits in. Lydia threw another punch and Amara grabbed her arm before pulling her closer to were they were chest to chest.

They both were breathing heavily as they started into each other's eyes for a moment before they both started to lean in. All of the sudden Lydia twisted her arm around Amara's, that was still holding hers, before kicking Amara's side. Amara closed her eyes and sucked in a deep breath as she stepped back before nodding with a smirk.

"I didn't teach you that." Amara said and Lydia shrugged slightly, "I've seen you do it before." Lydia said and Amara raised her eyebrows in amusement. "I dont remember almost kissing someone during a fight." Amara said and Lydia smirked slightly as she started to walk past Amara. "That part was just me." She said and Amara smiled softly as she watched Lydia walk away to get her water bottle

"My mom's book club usually has more wine." Lydia said as they all sat around the coffee table in the McCall household, looking at all the prints of the book. "Well, they also probably didn't read books that cause violent hallucinations..." Stiles said, "That's why Malia's here." Scott said.

"So none of us go running into traffic?" Kira asked and Amara nodded and shrugged slightly, "Or worse." She said and Malia nodded. "Like what happened to Judy." She said making everyone look at her confused, "Chapter fourteen."

"Maybe I should have my mother read it. She might remember a girl with a tail leaping off the ceiling and attacking everyone." Lydia said as she picked up the book and Amara chuckled, "Yeah, if it works." She said and Lydia sighed softly. "It has to." Lydia said making them look at her confused, "What does that mean?"

"I think I saw them during my surgery. When I look at the cover of the book, it's almost like..." Lydia said before trailing off slightly, "A memory trying to surface." Theo said making them all look at him while Lydia nodded. "Yeah."

"Isn't that what Valack wanted when he wrote it?" Kira asked and they all nodded, "If they did something to me, I want to know what it is." Lydia said and Amara sighed before picking up one of the copies.

A little while later, Scott and Kira sat on the couch, Lydia and Amara both sat on a loveseat across from the couch whole Theo sat on an armchair next to them. "Anyone feel any thing yet?" Scott asked as he glanced up at everyone, "Tired." Kira sighed.

"Hungry." Lydia said, "I think he meant the book." Theo said and Amara nodded and raised her eyebrows. "Yeah, we know." She said and he just held his hands up in defense.

Kira sighed softly before marking the page she was on and leaning back with her eyes closed. "You're not giving up, are you?" Scott asked and Kira sighed, "I'm just rested my eyes." She said before looking at the lamp and turning it off.

A few hours later everyone but Theo has fallen asleep while reading the novel; Lydia's head on Amara's shoulder as they both dozed off. Stiles sat on the floor with his head resting on a pillow placed on Malia legs as she laid scrunched up in the fetal position her hood up over her face. And Scott sits next sprawled next to her on the other end of the couch.

"What if we need some kind of trigger? Wasn't Malia driving when she remembered the crash?" Scott asked as he, Stiles, Amara and Kira walked into the school. "Yeah, but how are we supposed to trigger a memory that we don't remember?" Stiles asked and Amara shrugged, "Maybe it's a delayed thing? Like you have to wait a few hours to see what happens."

Before anyone could say anything the lights started flickering making them look up at them before slowly looking over at Kira. "That wasn't me. I swear." She said and the nodded, "We keep an eye on each other today, okay?" Scott asked and they all nodded.

"Yes, and keep an eye out for eight other potentially homicidal Chimeras." Amara said and Kira nodded, "And keep an eye out for the Dread Doctors..." She said and then her and Scott walked away making Stiles turn to Amara.

"Starting to see the appeal of a third eye." He said and she nodded before patting his good shoulder, "As am I." She said.

Amara sat next to Lydia in AP Bio not really paying any attention to Ms. Finch as she was resting her chin in her hand, looking bored out of her mind. "So, while introducing the African Cane Toad sounded like a good way to deal with Australia's infestation of the grey-backed beetle." Ms. Finch explained and Lydia lightly tapped Amara's arm making Amara look at her.

Lydia gestured to Sydney who sat in front of them messing with her hair. Lydia pulled out her phone and texted "Chimera?" to Theo. "I'm not sure if I approve of you having his number." Amara mumbled and Lydia rolled her eyes as Theo replied back with, "Look at her hair". Both girls looked back up and noticed Sydney pull out a chunk of hair.

"Unfortunately, the toad also decided to eat everything else in sight. And, everything that tried to eat the toad- from crocodiles to household pet- quickly died from the poison they secreted. A perfect example of an invasive species. One hundred and two toads introduced in 1935 became 1.5 billion by 2010. Once an invasive species is introduced, everything changes." Ms. Finch explained and suddenly Sydney stood up and put a drop form into the basket.

"Wise decision, Sydney." Ms. Finch said and then Sydney ran out. Amara and Lydia instantly jumped up and went to go after her but Ms. Finch stopped them. "Girls, you know it's for the best." She said Amara scoffed lightly, "You are a horrible teacher sometimes." Amara said before she and Lydia ran out of the class.

They went to Natalie's office to see Sydney sitting at the desk, crying, making them slowly open the door. "I was just looking for your mom. I mean, Mrs. Martin." Sydney said and Lydia and Amara glanced at each other before walking in. "You okay?" Lydia asked as they walked up to Sydney.

"Does this look okay?" Sydney asked as she held up a clump of hair, "How long has it been happening?" Lydia asked. "Three years..." Sydney said making Amara's eyes widen, "Years?" She asked and Sydney nodded. "It's stress. I've tried everything- medication, acupuncture, hypnosis..."

"Have you tried not taking the hardest classes in school?" Lydia asked and Sydney chuckled making them smile at her. "Let me see it. Maybe I can help cover it up." Lydia said and Sydney nodded before moving her hair away to show a bald spot behind her ear.

Lydia stared at it before suddenly gasping and starting to fall back, "Lydia!" Amara yelled as she shot out to catch her. "What happened to her? Is she okay?" Sydney asked as Amara moved Lydia to lean against the wall. "She's fine, I dont think she got enough sleep last night." Amara quickly lied.

She pulled her phone out, texting Scott before turning to Sydney, "Can you go find Natalie?" She asked and Sydney nodded and ran out. A minute later Scott and Theo ran in and Scott crouched down next to Amara, "It's happening her now too, isn't it?" Scott asked and she nodded.

A few seconds later Lydia started to wake up, "Lydia? Are you okay?" Amara asked, grabbing Lydia hand that was shaking slightly. "I'm okay... I'm fine." Lydia said and Theo crouched down, "You remembered something." He said and she nodded.

"Not about the Dread Doctors. Nothing about them or the surgery." Lydia said and Amara nodded slightly as they helped her off the floor. "What was it?" She asked. "My grandmother... At Eichen House." Lydia said and Amara sighed softly, squeezing her hand.

"Lydia!" Natalie yelled before running into the office with Sydney following, "Lydia? Oh, my God! What happened? Are you all right?" Natalie asked running over to Lydia. "Mom, I'm fine. It was nothing." Lydia said, "Was it a blackout? Did you faint?"

"Yeah... Yeah, I fainted. Mom, I'm fine. I promise."

Amara walked onto the weight room to see Theo doing pull ups. He stopped when he heard her walk in before smirking slightly and slowly taking off his shirt before turning around to see her leaning against the door watching him. "Like what you see?" He asked and she gave him a bored look, "I'm more gay than I was before now, thank you." She said as he started lifting a barbell.

"What can I do for you?" He asked as she walked over, "I want to know why you're trying so hard to get into the pack." She said and he looked up at her through the mirror. "I need a pack. You of all people know what happens to lone wolves." He said and she crossed her arms over her chest.

"You know theres millions of packs right? There's Satomi's, she's a very good and wise Alpha with years of experience." She said and he set down the barbell before turning around. "They're not like Scott and your's pack." He said before sitting down at the chest fly machine.

He pulled it forward a few times she grabbed the bars of the machine making him groan slightly while she made sure her hands where over his. "You're not who you say you are." Amara said making, him look at her confused, "What are you talking about?" He asked. "You're scent is off. There's something more than just Werewolf." Amara said making him look at her shocked for a quick moment.

"Why do you hate me so much? I helped save Lydia's life." Theo said and Amara hummed and nodded, "Trust is earned just because you did one good deed. I of all people know not to be dumb enough to automatically trust someone." She said and he chuckled.

"Scott seems to trust me." He said and she nodded. "Yeah? That's not something to brag about. Scott's trust is about as used as a sex doll in a frat house." She said he tried to move the bars but couldn't due to her being stronger.

"I'm gonna tell you this now, Theo. Piss me off or hurt anyone I care about... you'll get a VIP ticket to see just how dangerous a pissed off Pyro Alpha can be." She said before letting the bars go making the weights slam down and him groan before she walked away.

"Okay, then what are we doing here if you've already had your suppressed memory?" Stiles asked as he, Amara and Lydia got out of the car outside of the hospital. "It wasn't the right memory. I remembered my grandmother do with in Eichen House. There was nothing to the surgery, nothing to do with the Dread Doctors... So, if I've read the book, why don't I have the full memory of my experience with them?"

"We're not supposed to know that, are we?"

"No. Something... happened during the surgery. But now, I think that maybe, it has more to do with me being a Banshee..." Lydia said as she slowed to a stop. "Maybe it wasn't your memory." Amara suggested making Lydia look at her, "It was someone else's."

They walked into the surgery room and Stiles close the door behind them, "Can you turn the lights on?" Lydia asked and Amara flipped the switch but nothing turned on. "Nope." She said making Lydia sigh, "Ask someone."

"I thought this was more of an auditory thing?" Stiles asked as Lydia walked around, "I still wanna see what I'm hearing." Lydia said and Stiles and Amara looked at each other. "Makes sense." Stiles said and Amara nodded, "We'll go ask Melissa." Amara said before her and Stiles walked out.

"Well, we've been having issues for the last hour. Maintenance is coming to check it out. For now, that floor is down to backup lighting." Melissa said as they walked through the halls, "I thought you guys said this was more of a hearing thing." She said and Stiles nodded.

"Auditory." He said and Melissa while Amara sighed, "It's also a Lydia thing." She said and Stiles nodded in agreement.

Stiles and Amara were about to walk into an elevator but Amara paused for a second when she saw what looked like herself covered in flames. "Amara?" Stiles asked and Amara watched as the copy of her turned around and started walking down the hall.

"I'll meet up with you in a second." Amara said before quickly following herself down the hall. She walked through a door only to stop when she was no longer in the hospital. Now she stood in the middle of the woods in front of the Nemeton.

She glanced around, seeing multiple bodies laying up against the Nemeton. Bodies like Tracy, Lucas, Donovan. That's when she noticed herself standing in top of the Nemeton. Her eyes glowing red, glowing red veins covering her arms, neck and face as her hands were on fire.

Present-Amara glanced around before noticed a male figure walking away from the Nemeton. She furrowed her brows trying to figure how who they were but got distracted when Past-Her crouched down. She pressed her hands down on the Nemeton and the rings glowed a bright red before each ring caught fire one by one until the fire reached the bodies.

Amara gasped softly and glanced around to see she was back in the hospital room. "Amara." She heard someone say making her turn around to see Malia, "Did you remember something?" Malia asked and Amara sighed. "Yeah, but it's complicated." Amara said and started to walk over to Malia but slowed to a stop making Malia furrowed her brows, "What?"

Amara breathed heavily as she hand lifted up to her neck, feeling like there was a someone choking her. "Scott..." Amara whispered as she and Malia glanced at each other and quickly ran down the hall. They ended up running into Melissa and told her what was happening before the three of them ran to an elevator.

A moment later the elevator opened to see a Dread Doctor holding Scott above the ground by his neck. Malia growled making the Dread Doctor toss Scott to the side. Malia ran at the Dread Doctors while Amara ran past them to grab Scott and pull him into the elevator.

Melissa got down next to Scott and uncapped something, "Wait,
