Y/n's pov

Its been a few years. I'm 19 years old and my birthday is in a week. Dipper and I still write to each other just not everyday like before because we're both incredibly busy. I still love him with all my heart and he visits me every summer, along with Stan and Ford, and sometimes even during Christmas. Every time he would visit me for Christmas he would bring me a different bracelet, which I never take off.

This year for summer, though, he and Mabel were late for visiting. He hasn't told me when they were coming which made me nervous but I went along with it because I was happy that he even came to visit me.

Dipper has been going back and forth with his decisions, but he's been planning on going to college in Gravity Falls so he can be closer with me. Mabel was planning on doing the same thing, but she wasn't going to college.

Other then that, life at the Shack was great and my parents and I have gotten really close and they've caught me up with everything I've missed in the past and told me secret stuff from being Bill's prisoners for so long. I still have the three same, special photographs sitting on my dresser and I added another one of me and my parents.

I hope everyone will make it to the Shack for my birthday.

One week later...Y/n's pov

I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon. I slowly opened my eyes to meet face to face with the portrait of me and Dipper on my dresser. I smiled and looked at the time. 7:00 in the morning. Why can't I sleep in? Why do I smell heaven?

I flung the blankets off of me and put on my fuzzy slippers and headed for the stairs. As I approached the doorway, across the room I saw my parents yawning, still in their robes, and joining all of us in the kitchen. I saw Soos was making the delicious food that I had smelled earlier.

"Morning." I said as I sat down on the counter and smiled at my parents who stood together with a giant smile.

"Morning? Dawg why don't you looked pumped for this day?" Soos said to me as he continued flipping his pancakes, not looking at me.

"Because it's 8 in the morning?" I asked, unsure of why he was grilling me.

He stopped and took off his mittens and sighed but looked at me with a smile. "Dude."

My parents walked in front of me and laughed, which caused me to raise an eyebrow, confused. "It's your birthday!" They hugged me and I awkwardly hugged them back, suddenly realizing it was a time to celebrate something I didn't really care for at the moment. Myself. I just want Dipper.

"Oh, right. I fooled you all into thinking I didn't know. Of course it's my birthday." I let out a small chuckle and sat down at the table as Soos brought me my birthday breakfast.

About an hour later after I got dressed up and ready for the day, I headed into the woods to the one spot Dipper had once took me with the glowing flowers.

I smiled as I imagined the two of us dancing right in this very spot. We've been together for seven years. Which were the best seven years of my life. I'll be back for you later, magical glowing shiz.

I headed back for the Shack, hoping to come up with some letter from Dipper, but got nothing. I headed into town to get a few groceries for the Shack because on my free time I like to eat food so I ran out of food, and now I'm going to buy some more food, so I can eat that too.

It was late at night and so once I realized I payed too much time in town, I headed back for the Shack with two bags full of groceries. When I got there I was greeted by my parents whispering to each other with Soos and as soon as I walked in, they shut up.

They're probably talking about some surprise party that I don't know about.

All three of them smiled and walked over to me in a hurry. They grabbed my groceries and walked towards the kitchen. "We got these."

I followed them skeptically and watched their every move. So far, nothing.

"Why don't you go to that place in the woods you always go to when your stressed. It's a lovely night out tonight. And you look stressed." My mother said as Soos slowly put away groceries, eyeing me. My father stood there awkwardly as he non stop smiled with large eyes and they looked to be glossy.

He seemed ok on the outside but dead on the inside and it made me laugh. Literally me everyday.

"Uh, ok? I'll, uh, go...grab a...jacket." I said as I backed away to my room where I grabbed the black hoodie Dipper gave me last time he visited and sneaked out to the porch.

I headed into the woods as I slowly made my way to my normal spot I always go to when I'm bored. It was either there or the grocery store. I was watching my feet as I shuffled through the grass until I saw a familiar glowing light in the distance. I looked up a few feet away from the flowers and stopped breathing at what I saw.

"Happy birthday, love." There stood Dipper, in a tux, with a bouquet of f/c roses.

I ran over to him and hugged him, causing him to lose his balance from my collision but nonetheless be hugged back, digging his head into my shoulder, savoring the hug.

This. him. the tux. the flowers. It all reminds me of the first time he took me here. I teared up and kissed him as he put his arms around my waist, kissing me back.

I broke away and smiled at him again and responded. "I didn't know you were coming. I'm so happy you're here-Why were you so late? I've been waiting for you to get here for so long."

He smiled and handed me the flowers. "Some last minute things happened. But I'm here now."

I smelled the roses, which smelt like Dipper and I fell in love with them even more. "I love you." I said, hugging him once more.

And he chuckled, adorably. "I love you, too."

We pulled away and he walked me to the same tree that we sat at together from before, many years ago.

Dipper broke the silence. "This isn't all the news I have though."

I raised an eyebrow and looked him in the eyes, feeling warm inside once I realized how much I've missed seeing them.

"Of course it isn't." I said which made him laugh and look me in the eyes too, still smiling and took my hands in his.

"So you remember how I had a college situation I told you about before?" He asked a little upset and I felt a pang in my chest, growing a little worried.

"Yes?" I squeaked out. Is he gonna say he can't stay?

"Well...I'm moving back to Gravity Falls! With you!" He completely changed his tone from worried to excited and I felt over joyed.

I could feel my eyes light up and a million rockets went off in my stomach as I grew more and more excited. I threw myself on top of him and kissed him repeatedly all over his face as he laughed.

We got back up and I jumped up off the ground, getting too jittery to sit down. "This is great news! What about Mabel?"

He stood up in front of me and smiled, probably seeing how much of a dork I was acting. "She's coming back too."

I brought my fist up to my mouth, preventing myself from screeching and awakening everything in the woods. "When are you moving back?"

"In a few weeks. College starts up again in a few months and I want to be ready. Besides, I can't wait to move back here with you. I love you too much and I've missed you for too long to wait any longer."

We stood there staring at each other with smiles on our faces that I didn't even recognize the glowing butterflies flying around us.

"Look." He said as he began to look around at the scene, which caused me to start to look around.

I slowly scanned around me, spinning ever so slightly as I watched the thousands and thousands insects fluttering a colorful storm around me. I spun all the way around and met face to face with Dipper, only to see that he wasn't standing. Instead, he was kneeling down on one knee, holding onto one of my hands with both of his.

I froze.

"Y/n. You are the most beautiful, the most intelligent, and most amazing person I know. It's been seven years now, and it all started on this very spot. When I first laid eyes on you, I knew. You were breathtaking and I never thought I had a chance. But one monster led to the next, and I fell in love with you. Whenever I'm with you, I don't have a doubt in my mind that whatever happens, we will do it together. Whatever danger or apocalypse tries to separate us apart, we won't let it happen. Everything I do is for you. Everything I will do in the future is for you. I love you so much, and I know I tell you that all the time, and at the end of every letter, but I mean it. You complete me. And I want to be that for you. So what I'm trying to say is... " He reached into his pocket with one hand and held onto mine with the other.

I could feel the tears running down my face but I didn't care.

"Y/n L/n...W-Will you do the honor of marrying me?" He took out a ring and smiled up at me as I stood there, with my mouth open, at loss with words.

I closed my eyes and smiled. "Dipper Pines. You always were a charmer." I reopened them and smiled hugely. "Yes, I'll marry you!"

He got up and crashed into me as we kissed. It was a long and passionate kiss. I loved that about Dipper too, he was always so sweet, even while we were kissing. We pulled away after a few seconds and he put the ring on my finger. It was a thin, silver ring with a f/c star on it.

"Y'know, I'm the luckiest girl alive." I said in a daze, starring at the ring.

Dipper chuckled, tilting my chin up so he could look into my eyes. "And I'm the luckiest man alive."

I laughed. "You're no man, Dipper Pines."

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, yeah?" He crashed his lips onto mine before I could answer but pulled away right after, catching me off guard as I leant into him to continue the kiss.

"Shut up." I said which Dipper then grabbed me by the waist and lifted me into the air, spinning around the glowing field, causing me to laugh at his dorkyness.

He put me down as I continued laughing, trying to get my balance back.

Once I could stand, I widened my eyes. "We gotta tell the others!" I grabbed his hand as we quickly walked together back to the Shack.

Dipper's pov

I did it! She's mine! I can't even breathe and I already knew this was coming, because I planned it.

I just can't believe how quick Y/n's parents were to give me their blessing. I prepared a whole speech for them but it turned out I only needed to use one try which was plainly asking.

I'm the luckiest man in the whole multiverse.

Y/n's pov

We stood in front of the Shack as I dried my tears and gave Dippers hand a reassuring squeeze and he smiled in return.

I opened the door to Stan and Ford with my parents, Soos, Wendy, and Mabel. They were all smiling as I laughed.

They knew all along.

I looked at Stan and Ford. "And the surprises keep coming."

My parents ran over to me and hugged Dipper and I in a non-able-to-breathe-hold. They released us and held my hand, seeing the ring and gasped.

"Finally! I was wondering when Boy Wonder over here would pop the question." My dad said as he patted Dipper on the back and we all laughed.

"Congrats bro-bro! And sister-in-law!" Mabel said as she hugged the two of us and I hugged her back, feeling the warmth of her sweater and the softness of her hair that deep down, I missed.

"Thanks, Mabel." I genuinely said, giving her an excited look.

Ford walked over to the group of us with Stan following, with serious expressions. "Congrats and all. But there's a big problem. Something terrible is coming and I need all of your help-"

Before he could finish, a tree crashed into the roof across the room. I jumped and looked at Ford, worriedly.

He ran outside as we all followed. On my way out I grabbed a crowbar, just in case, along with Dippers hand as I ran behind him. Trusty crowbar.

We came out side to a horrifying sight. A giant monster stood there holding another tree, letting out some ear piercing scream.

"What the hell is that?" I asked Ford as he roughed up his stance taking out some gun I haven't seen before, probably a new creation of his.

"An angry monster from...Texas? No, it was Kansas. Or was it Michigan?" Ford put his hand on his chin as he looked at his brother for help.

Stan put on his brass knuckles and shrugged at Ford. "I don't know. But let's punch it."

I smiled and shook my head, gripping the crowbar even harder and fixing my stance. "Let's get back to work."

Dipper and I have each other a nod as we all charged at the new threat.

Together.

And it will stay like that till the end of time.

Because that "Someone Like You," was Dipper.
