Y/N POV

There we sat watching tv. Just me, Dip, Mabel, and Soos, scattered across the coach while I was the lucky one that got to sit on the floor.

Just yesterday Dipper showed me all the 'cool' places in Gravity Falls and my favorite in particular was the cute diner, but I hope it's as cute on the inside as on the outside.

I think you could say we're getting closer I mean we hang out a lot, talk a lot. Yesterday I definitely got to know him more. He may or may not accidentally admitted to liking Wendy ahah. After that my stomach started hurting a bit but it was probably just the donuts we ate earlier.

I drifted back to reality when a little kids voice came on the screen. "Are you completely miserable?"

Already lost interest. I need food.

"Gideon?" Mabel repeated from the tv. I stopped mid kitchen. "Wow! I'm getting all curiously inside." Of course you are Mabel.

Stan walked in probably because he heard the commercial. "Well don't get to curiously. Ever since that monster, Gideon, rolled into town he's been nothing but trouble." Then he went of saying stuff about Gideon picking on him but, why Stan? and why all of a sudden?

"Well is he really psychic?" Dipper asked, unfazed.

I was pretty interested myself but it was probably just something to say to get your business booming or to get people to love lil ol' Gideon even more. Sure he was small and grabbed people's attention but he couldn't have been that great I mean the guys a toddler. Right?

"I think we should go and find out." Iļø perked up on my spot on the floor. Maybe sharing my opinion would help the situation but what's the worst that could happen? At least it's something to do since the whole wax figure 'incident' nothing much exciting has happened except for the whole awkward moments Dipper and Wendy would have which always made me laugh.

Then as usual Dipper spoke up and agreed with me. "I'm with Y/n."

"Never. Your forbidden to patronize with the competition. No one under my roof is allowed under that Gideon's roof." Stan walked out of the room with a scratch of his neck. Emphasizing on the word Gideon. If Stan is going to keep us away from this newcomer who is shaming Stan and the Mystery Shack than it's going to take a lot more than a 'no' to tell us to stay away.

"Do tents even have roofs?" Dip asked, his hand gently grazing underneath his chin as if he was in deep thought.

Hm, I don't think this would be disobeying Stans orders either, we just have to stay outside.

"I think we just found our loop hole. Literally. WOP WOP!" Of course Mabel had to pull that on us.

"Nice, smart move Dip." I knew he hated when I called him Dip I honestly don't know why but that's just too bad for him.

"Again with that nickname?" He groaned.

"It's not going anywhere anytime soon. Unless you have a better nickname in mind?" I'm all ears for a new nickname, I have plenty of those for Wendy...

"Never mind Dip is perfect." He pursed his lips together.

"That's what I thought."

Than you walked to your room triumphly and got ready to go see Gideon live in action. You slipped on the sweater Mabel made for you with your name stitched with f/c stitchings and black as the base color with a black pair of jean shorts and f/c converses and slid your h/c hair into a messy bun and took one last look in the mirror and gave a satisfied smirk to yourself.

Let's go see what we're up against.

You couldn't help but feel something heavy in the pit of your stomach. You shook the feeling and thought it was just nerves.

Dippers POV

After we gave the guy in front of the tent our money we walked in and sat on the wooden benches. We had asked Soos to tag along just in case things got out of hand.

Soos first slid in and sat half way through the bench then Mabel sat, than Y/n, than me. I finally got to show Y/n around the town and she looked like she enjoyed some of it but every time I would start a conversation with her she would change her mood and become cheery and that made me happy.

These last few days have been pretty cool with Y/n around. I can just be myself and she's a lot of fun to hang out with, there really isn't a dull moment with her, even if we are just sitting and staring out into somewhere it's nice to have her company. I still don't know about her life before here because she says she doesn't want to talk about it all the time but overall she's a great friend.

I don't know how she did it but in one of the conversations I may have told her about my feelings for Wendy. She just laughed but I could tell how awkward it got between us and of course it was my fault. I at least just want to be able to be friends with her without screwing up. Wendy barely notices me sometimes so at least I have Y/n to laugh with me and tell awful jokes here and there. She's great.

As I was looking around I realized how weirdly similar this place is to the Shack. "This is like a bizarre version of the Mystery Shack." Mabel added as a look of astonishment washed over her face.

As in bizarre I meant more clean, less fake, but more strange in a way.

"They even have there own Soos?" In came walking a guy with the same shape as him but brown hair and a green beanie on, carrying repair supplies. Weird.

The others turned to see what I was talking about and Soos just grunted. "Don't worry Soos, your wayyy cooler than him." Y/n said trying to reassure him and keep his cool.

I directed my attention to the now starting show and suddenly the lights dimmed down and two spotlights made its way to the stage zig zagging through the crowd and finally centering to the curtains.

Then a shadow of some boy who I assumed was going to be Gideon, started walking and growing bigger and bigger until the curtains went aside and there stood a little boy. He was wearing a blue tux looking kind of outfit with a cape and had white, obnoxious hair.

I thought his appearance was bad but when he talked I was pretty sure my eardrums misheard because I thought I heard a mouse talk instead of him. "Hellloo America! My name is Lil Gideon." After whatever that was he clapped and doves started flying out of his hair and through the crowd.

"That's? Stans mortal enemy?" Y/n said in her normal tone not caring who heard. She was probably thinking the same thing I was.

"But he's so... wittle." I added, narrowing my eyes at the little boy. I just looked at Y/n and laughed quietly with her until I felt a small pain in my arm. "Ow. What was that for?" I whisper yelled to her.

"We were being too disruptive. You'll be fine it was just a flick." Then she lightly laughed and turned back to the show.

I smiled to myself thinking about Y/n.

When I went to look back at Gideon I saw him still standing there with his arms up still from the doves and was staring at Y/n with a smirk on his face but it didn't look like a smirk and instead a lopsided smile that she didn't seem to notice.

The next thing I knew next, I stood up from my seat and stared him down. I don't know what came over me but he noticed my existence and stared at me back but only until I was interrupted by the older couple behind me.

Than Gideon continued as if nothing happened, "Ladies and gentlemen it is such a gift to have you here tonight! Such a gift. I have a vision. I predict that very soon you will all say 'Aww'." He then struck a pose and everyone except the four of us said "aw" but I'm pretty sure I heard an "ew" come from Y/n's mouth, good thing she didn't find him adorable I would never let him near her.

"I'm not impressed." I crossed my arms.

"What? Your impressed." Y/n remarked, nodding st Mabel. Mabel answered with a nod.

Of course Mabel was finding this entertaining.

But before I would say something back Gideon said "Hit it dad!"

Oh no. What have we gotten ourselves into Gideon himself was enough now there's a song? Then the piano came and he then threw his cape towards Y/n but surely missed because of it being a piece of clothing.

Then he started singing and as badly as I wanted to just walk away and be done with this little guy I had to stay for Y/n because I didn't trust this Gideon.

I don't know if it was just me but his lyrics sounded really... odd. Singing about knowing things and seeing things isn't usually a song that someone who is talking about business would sing.

A quarter into the song just as I was about to say something to the others Gideon yelled, "Come on everybody, rise up! I want y'all to keep it goin!"

Then all of a sudden everyone rose out of their seats, even the four of us who wanted nothing to do with this. Just as I thought it couldn't get stranger we couldn't move from our standing positions and by the looks and struggling motions of the other three I could tell they were having the same problem, we couldn't move.

Is Gideon actually psychic or is there something behind all of this..? "How is he..." I tried getting out but was interrupted by his singing. Instead of off setting lyrics he was predicting other people's 'futures' but it was stupid about how obvious the predictions could have been made about the people he was talking to.

As we were still standing he started making his way towards Y/n and me, it's a good thing I chose to be on the outside.

"Oh come on." I said to Y/n rolling my eyes as she just stood there not knowing what to do.

He then stood by me and didn't acknowledge that I was standing there and looking at Y/n starting his song again. "Read your mind if I'm able. Something tells me your named Y/n." Then winked at her and strutted away elbowing me in the gut.

I tried to move out of the -whatever you call this reason on why I can't move- but got no luck. Too bad Gideon got all the luck because by now he would of regretted doing that to Y/n and hitting me after.

I took a breath and tried to calm down. Where was all this anger coming from?

"What nerve he has. You ok Dip?" At least our mouths can move.

"Yeah just still grossed out by that wink he tried pulling off on you haha." I'm glad we were talking because I might loose my mind if I have to listen to Gideon for much longer, let alone hear his name.

"Haha. Wait, are you saying you could do better?" Then she pulled out her oh so famous smirk and looked at me.

Panicking. Blushing. Crap. Play it out man. Even if this turns awkward it'll be better than Gideon. "Well, Iļø-I'm just saying his needs work y-ya know? But was that a challenge I heard." Iļø regained my confidence. Change the target towards her, ha.

"In your dreams, flyboy. I'm a pro. But if it's a challenge you want, it's a challenge you get." She nodded her head.

Honestly I know she'll win she's way cuter, obviously and... crap. "I th-" But before I could finish an ear piercing sound stopped me.

"Thanks for visiting, Lil Ol' mee!" Then a sign lit in blue spelled out 'Gideon' dropped from the ceiling and blue flames lit the stage on opposite sides.

Everyone started clapping. Everyone except me and Y/n who glanced at each other with disgusted looks.

"Thank you! You people are the real miracles!" He is such a suck up. Everyone has to be under some spell to be able to like someone like this. Mabel cheered for the boy in front of us with so much hope on her face I wanted to throw up.

Y/N POV

It was now dark out and Mabel, Dipper and I were outside the tent until we stopped and Dip said, "Man that kid is an even bigger fraud than Stan. No wonder he's jealous."

"Oh come on, those moves were adorable! And did you see his hair it was like... whoosh!" Mabel threw her hands up and over her head to emphasize the definition of his hair. Of course Mabel saw the bright side of everything. But wheres the bright side when a little kid is a bigger fraud then Stan, who has the highest pitched voice, sings to people and forces them to somehow dance to his song, flirts with the competition, and hurts one of their friends. How is Mabel so nice?

"Yeah Mabel, I think your just too easily impressed, haha." Iļø added with a laugh.

"Alright yeah, yeah, your just siding with Dipping-sauce because you have to." She nudged me and Dipper and laughed along with me.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Dipper protested, with a look of curiosity on his face.

"Oh nothing let's just go. I'm tired from all this dancing and yelling!" Mabel smiled.

I just sighed and glanced at Dipper who seemed to be really deep in thought. I decided to leave him alone and kept walking looking ahead as Mabel went on and on about what she's doing later with her friends which I paid no mind to and just said "mhm" and "huh" every now and then so she thought I was paying attention.

I wonder what Dipper was thinking about.
