I'm sorry for the confusion but when it's in "your POV" I tended to change from saying 'you' instead of saying 'I' but I'm just classifying that now Incase there was any confusion. Sorry for that.

Still your POV

"Does a Stan Pines live here?"

The boy finally answered saying "Uh y-yeah he's probably around here somewhere. Let me go look, you can come in if you want."

You just nodded and walked in.

Then the girl you you assumed was Mabel ran over and said, "Bro-Bro who was at the d- OMG YOUR SO PRETTY!!" She stopped in her tracks looking at you but before you could blink she ran up and hugged you.

"Oh, haha, hey there I'm-"

She cut you off saying, "Shh let me give my introduction. Hi I'm Mabel! I love sweaters and pigs! I have my own bedazzler and did I mention I love pigs?" I could tell that this one, is definitely going to be a breath of fresh air.

On the outside I was smiling on the inside I was screaming. eternally. "Ok then. Hi I'm-" but was cut off again, by an old man and the boy from earlier, who walked in.

It never occurred to me till now about how similar the boy and girl looked, probably twins. Oh right you gotta say something jeez why are you being so awkward today.

The older man spoke. "Hey there kiddo, you must be Y/n L/n. Well I'm Stan and these here dorks are Mabel and Dipper Pines my niece and nephew. The ginger reading the magazine is one of my employees, and that thing over there is Soos. Also an employee."

So instead of standing there looking like you wanted to melt into the floor you mustered up some courage and said "Hey. You guys already know my name then. You can just call me n/n if you want. If you don't know where I am then I'm probably on my bed in a blanket cocoon reading mystery novels..." You took a pause but before you could continue Stan left and Mabel stepped in front of you and said, "Than it's a great thing your sharing a room with Dipper and I!! And we can have sleepovers all the time! WOP!"

Although Mabel was loud you still liked her because she was different so you threw your arm around her shoulders. "Yanno I like you. Your funny. Show me to my room miss Mabel."

"Ok but first you and dip-dip over here got to meet properly. DIIIPERRR!" He was only across the room and she was screaming loud enough that even China could hear.

He came over, quickly glancing at me and returning back to Mabel. "What now Mabel." He sounded like he also wanted to melt away, maybe you'll like this Dipper guy too. But not in a weird way, obviously.

"You and y/n need to meet of course!" You stuck out your hand and smiled an innocent smile while he just stared at you lost in thought apparently and started... blushing?

Dippers POV

Wait I have to shake her hand? Alright you got this. Keep I️t casual. It's just a handshake.

"Uh sorry lost in thought." Then I grabbed her hand and shook it. Why does she have to be so cute with those beautiful e/c eyes and that gorgeous h/c hair of hers... But no I can't think like that. I like Wendy. Right?

Mabel interrupted us by saying "Dipper go show Y/n our room I have to go tell Candy and Grenda about her!" Man this is going to be awkward. Well here goes nothing.

Y/N POV

Mabel just had to leave huh. Oh well just keep following Dipper and act like you wanna be here. Start a conversation.

"So what's this town like? Is it one of those small town quiet places? I would've guessed this place is definitely out of the ordinary because everything I've seen is pretty strange." We walked into the room and he knew the answer so quickly it startled you.

"Definitely out of the ordinary. You said you liked mysteries right?" How about that someone that pays attention to me, maybe this place isn't bad. 

"Correct."

He shut the door to what you presumed was the room all 3 of us would share. "Well then you will love it here. There's something I should show you but you have to promise to not tell other people about it."

Where was this going? And does he trust me already or is he just desperate for someone to share it with?

"Promise." You then zipped your lips and threw away the key. Then he took out this book with 6 fingers on it and a number 3 in the middle of the hand. It was maroon and gold. "Is that the 'secret' you were just talking about?" A book? Really? Strange. Didn't expect anything less. But when he opened it I shut up immediately. "What is all of this?" Should I just jump out the window right now or is that to extreme?

Nah. 

"This? This Is all of the mysteries in gravity falls. I found this journal a couple days ago. Me and Mabel's first day here we battled these weird little gnome things who turned into some monster and wanted Mabel to be their queen. It was weird. Then just yesterday right before you got here we tried finding this Gobblewonker. But it turned out to be this robot controlled by this crazy old man and it almost killed me, Mabel and Soos but hey when you come to Gravity Falls your basically putting your life on the line."

How the tables have turned. "I thought this summer was going to be the worst and I'd spend every second in my room watching Netflix and reading but-huh- I️ think I️ might actually like this place." You looked at him and caught him smiling at you. Ohhh how adorable that little smile is.

Crap. No.

But then his smile turned into the most serious face you've ever seen. "Wait. You believe me?"

Why wouldn't you?

"Of course I believe this, why would you be making it up?"

Poor Dipper. Do people pick on him that much? Maybe he was that desperate, but at least this means when there's a time that there's a mystery case you get to help.

I heard them talking about some goat eating stuff so maybe I could help with that. I mean you could relate you were also the one people liked to pick on. Even your parents.

"So what do you say wanna go on a mystery hunt as soon as Mabel gets back?" He smiled at me as his face started to slightly heat up.

Oh yes yes yes yes! Keep it calm. "Of course!" Quality time with Dipper, why pass it up?

He then walked out the room and left me to unpack.

Dipper POV

I just had to walk out of the room I couldn't let her see me blush this badly.

I️ can't believe she actually said yes to hanging out! Well a monster hunt- but I'm still gonna be there so she has to hang out with me. Maybe I should ask Wendy too.

Finally someone who doesn't look at me like I'm crazy and actually believes me. Maybe we have a chance at being friends, as long as I don't blow it.
