SHORT NOTE: a soldier in the mafia is someone who does all the assassinating, k!wording, etc. this is almost 4,000 words long. also, nozomi uses she/they pronouns :)
━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Shiratorizawa mafia almost rarely ever hosts parties and this one just coincidentally happened on the day Sayori, one of your members, was taken. With your data broker, Nozomi, they found out that they were actually having an auction in disguise as a party.

"Boss, they're auctioning three women, one of which is Sayori-san..." They couldn't look you in the eye as she kept her gaze on the laptop's screen.

The two of you were left alone in your office as your soldiers were outside guarding the door, you were on extra alert now that one of Shiratorizawa had infiltrated the manor and took one of your people.

"What else do you have about their party?"

"To get in you need to wear formal clothes and a masquerade mask, and... yeah, that's it." You nodded before telling her to wash up and get all the things she needed ready.

You went to your own room and quickly washed up and put on a formal outfit, you had your small weapons under your outfit and went out to see that Nozomi was also ready.

They handed you the keys to your car before you both hurriedly walked to the garage, telling the guards to watch out for the manor while you were going to be away for a few hours and to get back up ready for when you call.

You decided to let Nozomi drive as you loaded the handguns you brought, "Nozomi, are you sure it's here?" You asked, looking at the image of the place Nozomi gave you. She did a glance at you before nodding, "Yes, boss. I've checked and I had Hidaka drive over to the place."

You let silence take over the whole car ride until she parked the car, it wasn't exactly far away from the hotel, but the car wasn't as visible either, letting you spy on the mafia family for a while through your binoculars before the opening hour came.

With one earpiece in, you separated from Nozomi to search on one area while letting them search the other. A man in a masquerade mask lined with a shiny intricate design, walked up the mini stage, his outfit matched with his lively colored hair, and he looked to be as tall as you.

Grabbing the microphone sitting on its stand, he cleared his throat, "Good evening fellow guests! Uh, we don't usually host parties due to our busy schedule, but seeing as how our companies and hotels are doing so great, we couldn't help it! Ushijima, our hotelier, will give his speech in a few minutes." His cheery voice soon disappeared as he finished his little introduction, and retreated to the small group of people he was with.

The sight of those tall men he was with gave you a bad feeling. You've never actually seen what the members of the Shiratorizawa mafia looked like and didn't think about asking Nozomi about it, which is pretty stupid for a mafia boss.

You decided to rely on your feelings and instincts on this one and informed Nozomi through the earpiece that you were going to follow those men. They weren't so sure about the idea, even giving you a few highly likely outcomes of trailing behind them but decided that if you had a feeling that they were sketchy, they'd let you be.

But Nozomi wasn't going to let you trail behind them alone and since one of your soldiers arrived early, she had them follow you too from a distance.

You were very far behind from the group of men, but you could remember your way from the main room to wherever they were heading to. As you were walking, there were also footsteps behind you, you thought it was the soldier Nozomi sent to guard you but it wasn't.

Just when you turned around, you were met with a big guy. He didn't have a scary face but he definitely wasn't going to be nice. "Oh! Uh, sorry, got lost! Mind if you show–"

He gave you a bored look before sighing, "I'm not falling for that. Eita, get her." He said at the man behind you. Just the moment before he could cover your face with anything, you took the deepest breath you ever had in your life and held your breath.

You closed your eyes and pretended to fall asleep as the man in front of you carried you on their shoulder as if you were a sack of rice. You cautiously darted your eyes around to see that your guard was behind you, he saw the whole thing and knew what to do.

The man named 'Eita' walked in front of the man who's currently carrying you and as your soldier carefully walked behind you, you gave him instructions through a sign.

You were fully conscious during the whole time you were carried, you were hoping to be able to listen in to whatever they were talking about but no, the two men didn't speak until you reached a more lit-up room. You closed your eyes as they carefully put you on a chair and tied you to it.

The sound of their footsteps was fading, there was breathing behind you so you tried to lower your head as if it was due to your sleeping figure, and opened your eyes. There were no feet in front of you but there were beside you.

The three other women were there, you looked around the room and saw nothing but white walls with the four of you tied to chairs, creating a circle. Luckily for you, they didn't bother to do a body scan to check for weapons.

It was a bit difficult to slide your small pocket knife from your sleeves but after a few wiggling, you got it, and carefully but hurriedly started to cut the rope.

The noise and movement caused the woman beside you to wake up. Out of the other two women, she was the only one you couldn't recognize. You figured she was just another rich girl or someone who serves under a wealthy master, but Nozomi would have told you that.

You broke free from the chair and switched out your small pocket knife to the sharper and longer one that you had under your outfit and began to cut the ropes. The noirette who sat beside you groaned, crouched a bit to massage her forehead that was in pain before looking around.

She found you, who was cutting the ropes, and immediately pulled out the handgun in her blazer and pointed it at you.

"Wait! I was brought here too!" You put your hands up and put the knife down after finishing the ropes. She frowned at you for a while before sighing and putting the gun back in her blazer, "Did you see the faces of the men who took you?" She asked,

"Not exactly, but one had ash-blonde hair and the other had short hair with an undercut." You said, trying to wake up Sayori in the midst of talking. "Don't wake them up! They're only going to be a nuisance..."

"Sayori knows how to work with guns and we can't have them selling off this woman here, I don't want to carry a burden." You said. Sayori and the other woman were finally able to wake up. Sayori gained consciousness and took out her own weapon in advance, "Boss, it was Shiratorizawa, the men who took us her–"

"USHIJIMA–!" Sayori only woke up but her reaction was sharp, she didn't hesitate to pull the trigger, and shot down the guy. You had forgotten to monitor the footsteps around you and this lead to one of the members of the family almost catch you, that was only going to be if nobody heard him.

"Let's hurry up." You said to the noirette and Sayori, the woman beside Sayori was shaking, she couldn't handle the sight of blood and almost fainted. You decided to carry her on your back as the three of you ran. "Nozomi, are you there?" You asked through your earpiece,

"Boss! I'm here. The guy I sent after you found Shiratorizawa, they're outside the back of the building. They seem to be getting stuff out of their car, also, it seems like there weren't actually just three women they were trying to sell-off. There are more."

You let out a sigh, "Nozomi, I'll leave this girl in your care. Find her inside the girl's restroom, she's wearing a blue dress." You said, letting Sayori head to the location you gave her while separating to go to the restroom. You sat the woman down on the sink and was about to catch up to Sayori when she yelled at you,

"Don't leave me here! They might find me!" Her face was drenched in tears, sweat, and oil. The makeup on her face was starting to fade and she was pale.

You sighed and tried your best to calm her down, "I'm sorry, but everything will be okay once my subordinate comes and gets you. If you don't want to die then stay here until Nozomi, a short-haired woman with strawberry blonde hair arrives."

You were about to leave when she tried to hit you by throwing her shoe but you caught it. "I'm from a wealthy and powerful family if my father hears about this!–"

"Look, I don't have time to chit-chat with you in here, okay?! This has nothing to do with you, this is about the mafia and I don't want to drag you in any way into our business, so please just sit still!" It was your turn to yell at her and although you felt bad, you turned to leave the restroom. Nozomi was already outside and you told her the woman was inside.

After giving a few more brief instructions to her you finally left to go catch up to Sayori, which left you thinking, what happened to the noirette?

"We'll start our auction in ten minutes." You were too late, instead of being able to get the girls out just right before this stupid auction, it already started. That was when the earpiece sounded, "Boss, we have the rest of the girls out but there's still one more inside." It was Sayori.

"Leave this one to me, if I succeed, we can leave Shiratorizawa inside this hotel of theirs to burn."

"So... arson?"

"Yeah." The call soon ended and it was just then that you remembered about the noirette you were with, you groaned, you could only hope that Sayori meant her and the other girl when she said, "we."

You looked around the room, it was like a theater inside, bold colors decorated the room and disgusting men were draped in rich and branded suits along with a bright yellow-colored masquerade mask to cover up a small area of their face.

You didn't forget this time to take note of people's faces or the fact that there soon will be men who work for Shiratorizawa to run around the hotel's halls and rooms in search of the four women who escaped the white room. You look around to see that nobody hasn't started yet, so this gave you enough time to walk around the whole room to look for anybody suspicious and to devise a plan to escape with the last girl inside.

A small bell chimed inside your earpiece, "Boss, Shimizu-san is inside, she might be able to help you getting the last girl out." Sayori said,

"Shimizu?"

"The one with black hair, oh look! She's approaching you now."

The call ended with the woman named 'Shimizu' in front of me. "Yn." You introduced yourself,

"Kiyoko Shimizu, I'll just mention it now but the last girl is my partner," She bowed her head a little.

You only had a few minutes left to debate on which plan to go with. Of course, you went with the plan of letting her open the emergency exit door in advance before you run to the stage, just snatch the girl, and run as fast as you can to the exit with her but she shook her head.

Her plan was to carry her partner from before the auction would start to create less of a ruckus, obviously, neither of you wanted to bid money since these were creepy, old men you were talking about. They'd be more than willing to bid up to a billion if Kiyoko said her partner is a short, blonde girl.

With the two of you sitting in the front row at the side, away from all the other men, you both failed to notice the time that passed by. The last three minutes you both had been up and a big cage was rolled to the front for many people to see. You could hear Kiyoko let out a gasp.

"Let's start the auction shall we?" The same tall man from the introduction before showed up on stage. As those words left his lips, cheering could be heard. You look at the two sides of the stage to see that there were guards, your plan can't work anymore, much more Kiyoko's.

There was only one last possible thing you could do to get the blondie and that was to bid as well, and hopefully, the auctioneer doesn't recognize you. "Boss, you're taking too long... the auction's about to start," Nozomi said, you sighed and shook your head, "Nozomi, get ready to lose a lot of money."

"Boss? Wait? WHAT?!-" You ended the call and took a deep breath before exhaling. You turned to Kiyoko and she looked like she was on a call too, after a few moments later it ended, and she turned to me with a sigh. "My boss will handle this, thank you for your cooperation though-"

She was cut off as the auctioneer spoke, "This girl here is a cutie! With blonde hair, brown eyes, and a small figure." He said,

He thought for a while before continuing, "Hm... let's see, we'll start off at ten thousand yen." Immediately, many hands were raised. You sighed, you were totally going to lose a lot of money for this.

You weren't going to bid yet and it made you think, why were you doing this anyway? Kiyoko had already told you that her boss can handle this yet here you are, sacrificing a big amount of money to a random (but attractive) woman.

"Shimizu-san, I'm going to bid later on once lesser people place their bids." You gave her a brief summary of your plan, her eyes widened and her head whipped in your direction, "Yn, you don't have to." She whisper-yelled, but you refused her refusal and listened carefully to the bids.

"Shimizu-san, be careful of the guards." She could only nod.

The number of the bid was increasing, it was now currently at one hundred thousand with three men fighting for it. You wanted to place your bid now but it didn't feel right yet and you needed at least one of them to back out.

"I bid 200,000!" The man showed an arrogant smile as he raised the bid even more. The rest of the audience gasped hearing the words that came out of his mouth. "I bid 200,005!" Another stood up, leaving the third man to back out.

"I bid 200,010!" He thought he was going to win until you raised your card, all heads turn to the new number, "I bid 400,000!"

Shocked gasps could be heard, even from Kiyoko, the auctioneer, too, was shocked. "That's just a bluff! T-This is nothing for me, I bid 400,100!"

"If this was nothing for you, you would've raised it to a million already," Nozomi said through the earpiece, you chuckled and raised your card, "I bid 400,600 then."

"This woman is crazy..."

"She must be gay and rich."

The side comments made you chuckle which didn't go unnoticed by Kiyoko. "Yn, do you even have that much?"

"Of course I do, unlike that arrogant man over there, 400K is nothing compared to how much I actually have."

You decided to keep it slow until the men who took you showed up to the side, you quickly switched out your mask with another and re-did your hair. "Kiyoko, be careful. They're here." She instantly understood what you meant and laid low on her seat, taking out her handgun just in case.

"I bid 400,700!"

"500,000!" You said, this made that man sigh and keep quiet. The auctioneer clapped his hands and hit the gavel. "500,000 sold to the tall lady!"

The blonde girl was finally given to you, you paid in full cash, and brought her with you. "I apologize you had to wait that long. Are you feeling okay?" You asked her,

"Yeah, uh, I'm fine..." She tensed up as she looked up at you. You met up with Kiyoko and the girl smiled.

"Uh, please give us a few minutes while we... um... get ready!" The auctioneer said, panic evident in his voice as his body turned back and front. This was when Kiyoko and you realized it was about the girls they were trying to auction.

"Let's hurry." You were about to pull the blonde with you when she stopped you, "I... uh... my feet–" You sighed and carried her on your arms and hurriedly ran with Kiyoko to the emergency exit.

You were met with Sayori and Nozomi who sat inside the car a few meters away from the exit, you were about to bring the two of them there when Kiyoko told you that they'll just hide here until their boss arrives. You were skeptical about it and was going to agree to it when you heard voices.

You didn't think about anything else but not getting caught, with the blonde in your arms, you carried her like a baby, and grabbed Kiyoko, running to your car.

"Where can we drop you off?"

With all that running and hiding you did from the Shiratorizawa mafia, you were finally able to drop Kiyoko and her partner off to where their boss was at.

In the end, you didn't have to worry about any of the girls abducted by Shiratorizawa or Kiyoko and Yachi. Nozomi had dropped them off to where their boss stayed at and you were able to join forces with them, only that it was only going to be a give and take of information and whatnot with them, as demanded by Nozomi.

She was very worried about you and kind of started to hold some sort of grudge against them, but at least it wasn't as bad as you thought it would have been.

As you laid on your bed, you thought back to the events that happened today, and unknowingly let out a sigh. Shiratorizawa will come bite you and Karasuno in the ass soon for taking away their abducted girls, but then again they were wrong for it.

You were about to turn your phone off and go to sleep when the screen lit up, one new notification from your messages popped up, so you swiped to the right and opened the app.

"I stole the keys from Sugawara, wanna drive around? (><)" From Kiyoko.

It made your heart flutter, now that you tried to imagine her face in your head, you could barely see it. All that time in the hotel, all that speaking, and running around, not once did you take a look at her for at least a minute?

You agreed to her mini proposal and dressed appropriately for the cold weather. You quietly snuck out of the manor, successfully running away from your own guards before getting in the convertible car parked right outside the gate.

Kiyoko smiled at you, "You look like you've never snuck out before." She chuckled before hurriedly driving out of your neighborhood to lessen the possibility of getting caught by anyone in the manor.

As she drove around the almost empty roads, music was playing in a low volume. The wind hit your face, making you squint your eyes, Kiyoko glanced at you for a second and started laughing.

You turned to her, "What?"

"Your face was funny just now." She continued to laugh, you dramatically gasped and clutched on your chest, "Shimizu-san, are you making fun of me?! How rude!" She only continued to laugh at this, earning a chuckle from you.

"Her laugh is so pretty."

After a few minutes later, a calm silence engulfed you. It wasn't anything weird or awkward, not a single hint of awkwardness surrounded you both, and it sort of made you wonder why.

Usually when the atmosphere is like this with Nozomi, Sayori, or just anyone, it would feel really awkward, but with her, it's just calm. You feel calm and safe with her. You glanced at her and smiled,

"I never thought I'd actually get to drive around the city with someone who makes the atmosphere so... calm." You
