this chapter is what happened before the previous chapter, Jay's pov in the third person
the room was below 10 degrees, and he began to tremble, but the wounds inflicted on his body stimulated the tremor even more. he was weaker and weaker, and the blood circulation decreased because of the handcuffs, decreasing more and more also the strength that his element gave to his body and heart
the sounds of small drops in the floor were his only distraction from his thoughts, but until he started hearing voices
he didn't know if these voices came from his head or from outside that room where he was, it was probably both cases, but steps confirmed his second option
the armored door created an echo in the small room
he tried to raise his face, but he only managed to lift his eyes. his anxiety grew, and terror and suffering in his eyes was now inevitable
he knew what awaited him beyond that door, he had already seen it, and at the thought he felt himself dying inside, despite the persistent torture 24/7
but he hoped so much that what he had seen hours ago was just a stupid joke of his brain, he wanted it to be so
but it was not for a selfish act, mostly for his beloved, but the thing that lifted Jay was the fact that he would not easily find her in her new marine form
well.. that's what he knows.. but he does not know, or at least, does not remember, that he had freed his yang from that under the kind of eternal curse, replacing himself for her life. without even knowing that he himself survived the same curse as her. but perhaps, in his case when he was, he would have been better completely immersed in his element. that he was not even able to unfairly reuse
but in a way, this gave him the chance to find out who the buyer of the vengestone was. if he had ever managed to get out of the room in which he suddenly found himself, and in which he had been staying for two days now.. or more, could not remember
"Gordon"
"I'm sure you'll remember what I showed you yesterday" she laid her arms behind her back, and talking, she looked at her boots looking for some kind of dirt on it
he continued to listen, and look at the woman in front of him with a look of pure death
"don't pout me" she said sarcastically, as she knelt at hid level "I brought you a patch for your left eye, I'm sure you will need it" Elide directly laid it to him
she stayed a few seconds looking at Jay's face, and contemplating the patch
"you should look at yourself, you're good.. maybe I have my little mir- oh! I was right, look at you!" she held the small mirror in her hands
his eyes were wide open, as memories tortured him even more
he was full of cuts, bruises and blood stains on the face. his messy hair, and also with some blood stains, fresh and not
but what traumatized him the most at the time, was that patch, that damn eye patch, which covered, that still visible bruise
he looked the same as that frightened child with no answers for his future
and at this time, he had the same feeling as 5 years ago
he would have continued for hours to look in the mirror, but Elide took away the possibility
"I'd say your time to stay locked up is over" she suddenly said, getting up
Jay looked at her neutrally, but inside he hoped with all his heart to get out of that place
but soon, the door opened, letting in the woman with the bizarre red crest
hope fell from his face, and his heart was beating a thousand, guessing that freedom was no longer a possibility..
"I brought the teapot, ma'am" Miss Demeanor highlighted the object in her hands
Elide turned to the door, examined the teapot in demeanor's hands, and then turned her head, looking again at the young adult behind her, presenting a smirk on her face, disturbing the lightning master
demeanor approached Elide, waiting for her to take the teapot in her hands, as exactly happened
shared one last look with Jay, and then looked at her hands
"Finally your mother will understand who won this war" she said in a hateful voice
jay had not understood this phrase, but the confusion dissolved as an orange cloud emerged from the teapot to the room, getting bigger and bigger
he had clear ideas of what would happen to him after he appeared
the flying figure opened his eyes, finding himself turning his back on his enemy
"Who delivered me?"
Jay clenched his fists, marking with his nails other injuries to his hands, hearing his voice sent shivers all over his back
"it was me, Nadakhan" Elide bowed as if she were in front of a nobleman, welcoming him
"and you would be?" he asked, frown present on his perverse face
"I'm Elide, sir" she introduced herself. not hearing any other presentation, she gave a blow with her hand to the stomach of the woman next to her
she realized, still firm from the little terror that caused him "uh demeanor- Miss demeanor" then copied the same greeting of her boss
but Nadakhan didn't seem interested.. his only thought was one.. revenge.
"I don't see my crew.." he looked ahead
"unfortunately for that, I could not track them down"
"Tell me.. where the blue ninja?" he seemed annoyed by the people in front of him, they were just waste of time
probably one of the most panicked moments Jay had ever had
Elide did not respond, but simply pointed with her own eyes to something behind his back
Nadakhan turned around intrigued, and couldn't believe his eyes
"well.. easier than I thought.." a smirk of whole nastiness on his face
"Nadakhan" Jay said, looking him dead in the eye
"Jay" he did the same thing as him, but he smiled all the time "I notice that you grew up" he examined him, also noticing his face and body ruined
"you've already had special treatment from what I see. ooh.. how much I missed our game scrap 'n tap!.." he smiled even more "but why so elegant?" he asked, pointing out the tuxedo, now ruined, that Jay had on him
but Jay had not wanted to open his mouth for the umpteenth time, having to answer Elide in his place
"he was at his love's funeral" Jay looked at her
"lov- delara.." is enlightened to the memory
"It's Nya. you worm." he finally spoke
"who did you call worm?" he said, as anger grew in him
"you. piece of shit." he provoked. he always did this with him
"I will make you try again the pains of hell.. much more than Nya's death. and when I find her-"
"she is no longer human, fortunately out of your clutches"
"I wouldn't be so convinced" Miss demeanor spoke
"make your first wish" Nadakhan invited her to make this gesture, and she accepted
"I wish" orange clouds around her and Nadakhan appeared "I wish I could see the ninja"
a wall has become like a television, as they could see, probably through a mirror in the room, figures
Jay noticed the room, immediately thinking of the ninjago museum. he looked at the figures, recognizing most of them, but when he saw a familiar figure, black hair in a small tail, hourglass body, he immediately understood it was her, his Nya
his eyes opened wide, as he recognized her completely, as she was there in meat and bones, and not just water. but how could she be there? this was what he was wondering, but then something came to his mind.. Nya was in danger.
"I notice that she is well alive instead" Nadakhan watched the scene with his first two arms folded forward, then looked at the ninja behind him
"i- I don't know how it's possible.." Jay said, mostly to himself" but that won't allow you to touch her, I won't allow you to touch her."
"Of course, and how could you? you're chained, remember?"
jay stopped to look at the handcuffs between his wrists
"I always have a way"
"like wis-"
"you forget it. there is no way I could wish for"
"Yet when your beloved Nya was dead, you desired. breaking even my rules"
"I didn't break any of your stupid rules"
"ah yes? then you will not have realized that you have made two wishes"
"two?"
"yes, two. but I have granted only one"
"... you had taken my hand.. and.. no one
ever found that teapot.. in the first place" Jay recalled, thus also realizing why Nadakhan was found again outside the teapot
"when you want you're smart" Nadakhan teased him, receiving a derogatory look from Jay
without saying anything though, they left the room, leaving behind a weak Jay. the thought that Nya was human again, but at the same time was in extreme danger, destroyed him to the end.
after a few minutes of waiting, quite nerve-wracking, they returned to the room
but their smile was disturbing
"junkyboy, I'll make you useful for something"
Jay looked suspiciously, as Nadakhan floated closer to him
"Elide, come here" he ordered, and she executed. she stood next to him, and waited for his word
"start when you want" Nadakhan said, as he made space for Elide by backing down
Jay was extremely confused and terrified at the same time "what was to start?" he wondered at himself
elide's eyes turned red, as she raised her open hand to her face, her hand was covered with a small red aura. concentrated she looked at Jay, and then she shook her hand in a fist. soon, he began to feel a pain stronger than the blows, making him scream heartbreakingly, he felt as if she were tearing his soul out of the body. but it was probably exactly like that. and in no time at all, Jay's eyes also turned red, like her own. she was now the possessor of his body.
"take away his handcuffs" Elide ordered Miss demeanor. disenchanted with her thoughts, she hurried to free the ninja
Jay immediately touched his wrists, massaging it
"get up" and without him being able to decide, his body immediately rose, he would even try to rebel, but it was impossible. her every thought was equally controlled only and solely by her
"I'd say it's time to make our entrance on the scene," Nadakhan said, holding back a laugh of excitement
making a wish, it was the last thing Jay could do
you know how it continues then... after this, there will soon be another chapter :)
