*THE NEXT DAY...

'hm..' I grumbled as I got up from my bed, and went downstairs— My jaw immediately dropped because I saw my mother and her boyfriend kissing rather intimately on the couch.

"Mom? What the hell-" Both of them jumped off eachother, like they've just been caught.

"but don't you and the neighbors kid..?"

My eyes went wide, and mouth agaped in shock at the assumption. (like the pic below)

"No, we don't. Ew by the way!"

"wait- y/n and the pink haired kid..?" mom's boyfriend or aiden asked in curiosity, eyes shifting from my mom to me.

"We're together, but we'd never do such a thing!" I stated as my face turned red in embarrassment.

"Pff~ we're just kidding sweetie, your breakfast is on the table." Mom pointed to the table as she leaned her head on aiden's shoulder.

I hummed as a response, and immediately went to the table in order to devour the luxurious breakfast provided for me.

"Woah~!" I exclaimed in amazement.

"Who made this?"

"well your's truly duh~" Aiden smugly grinned and my mom couldn't help, but chuckle at his antics.

"this is amazing, aiden!" My eyes fixated on the food as I complimented his culinary skills, my mother bagged a chef sooooo..

"ofcourse it is!" Aiden responded, his usual confident tone evident in the way he talked.

"your so cocky aiden" mom said while smacking the back of his head
aiden winced at her action

"can ya'll stop flirting im trying to eat:]" i said disgusted

*30 MINUTES LATER...
'Where are my rings?!' I panicked, looking everywhere in my room in case I misplaced it— which I never happens.

I run downstairs, only to see my mother putting my rings away in a pink box.

"MOM! what are you doing??" I was clearly shocked, horrified even because my mother rarely does this.

"oh I'm putting them away for a while~" My mom told me, unbothered by the fact that I treasure them more than anything.

"mom, that's mine though.." I reasoned out as she continued to put away my rings.

"Sorry sweetie, but I'm still putting them away~ you can get them back when your older."

"Why?"

"hehe your gonna use these for your wedding ofcourse" my mom said

"huh? what wedding?" I was so confused, my head was about to explode.

"for you and kusuo ofcourse!" My mom exclaimed happily, which made heat rise up to my cheeks.

"Mom. We're both 16, isn't it too early to think about that?" I raised a brow, fetching my bag from the chair nearby as I slung it around my shoulder.

"Better earlier than never, sweetie~" My mom teased, it just made me feel even more drained.

"ok fine..im going to go to school you and aiden better not be doing anything" i said clearly upset that they're so cheesy

I gave up because I knew I wasn't going to win against my own mother, it was so exhausting just to hear her reason.

"I can't promise anything, sweetie~"

"whatever, bye.." I grumbled as I closed the door behind me, I felt a mix of anger and sadness.

I headed to saiki's house and knocked on the front door, only to be met by mrs. saiki or kurumi— kusuo's mother.

"Oh! good morning y/n~ Ku-chan! y/n's hereee"

"Come in, dear!"

"Right! Thank you, Mrs. Saiki.." I went inside their neat home, Mr. Saiki was happily eating on the table and was mumbling words of affection for his wife— the scene kind of reminder me of my beloved father.

"i think ku is already finished, can you check on him please?" Kurumi asked for me, it helped snap me out of my trance as I nodded to her request. "Ofcourse!"

I did what kurumi asked of me, heading up to kusuo's bedroom and passed by frames of a younger version of him. I couldn't help but feel my heart soften at the sight, super cute for someone so nonchalant now.

I opened the door without knocking and my eyes widened at the scene that unfolded as soon as I entered.

"AHHHH I'M SORRY!"

I shouted, closing my eyes tightly as I hurriedly slammed the door close before saiki could respond.

'I'm such a pervert! I saw saiki without a shirt!'

The door opened, and I met saiki's eyes who were already staring at my flustered state.

I panicked, covering my face as I avoided his gaze due to overwhelming embarrassment.

Saiki K Pov:

'i can read y/n's thoughts?' Raising my brow as my eyes shifted to y/n's slim hand, she wasn't wearing her rings. I was right as always.

'𝑝𝑓𝑓𝑡~' I chuckled at her thoughts, who knew someone could be so funny and cute at the same time. I'm lucky to have found her— what am I saying??

"I-I'm sorry for uhm.." Y/n stammered, unable to form a proper sentence as she continued to avoid eye contact with me.

"Its fine." I reassured her, shifting my attention to the time before speaking once more.

"We'll be late, let's go now." "Ah..Right!"

*TIMESKIP TO SCHOOL...
'I wonder what saiki thinks about all the time..'

Y/n looked at me wide eyed suddenly as soon as that thought formed,

I raised an eyebrow at her as she looked away.
Mumbling something that I couldn't understand, even if we were seated next to one another.

'No way. That isn't possible..is it?'
'now I'm curious, y/n.'

*TIMESKIP TO LUNCH...
I took y/n's hand in mine, and led her to a empty hallway where there wasn't any people around.

"What did you mean by it isn't possible?" I asked her, she didn't respond.

"I-I..uhm-" Y/n couldn't form a proper sentence, stammering every time she opened her mouth.

"hm?"

"You're a psychic, aren't you?"

What she said made my eyes widen in absolute shock as I stepped closer to her.

"How did you find out?"

"my father was somehow like you as well, I didn't inherit that gene though.." She awkwardly chuckled, but I knew she was being truthful to her words.

"You're not gonna tell anyone, right?" I doubted her, but I wasn't considering erasing her memories of me completely. I somehow felt outrageously opposed to it— why.

"Ofcourse not, you kept it a secret for a reason." Y/n responded, her voice was so soft that it calmed me a bit.

"Thanks.."

"Ofcourse.." She smiled at me, it was so genuine.

My heart skipped a beat, I couldn't control it.
